We just recently switched from Dish to Spectrum. We have had a horrible experience. We have to call them out for service every week since we switched. The DVR has been changed five times in den and twice in bedroom. From the very beginning the tv in bedroom has not worked. We had a really bad picture on bedroom tv that no one could seem to fix. Spectrum finally told us it must be the tv in bedroom. Before we switched to Spectrum the picture was fine on bedroom tv. Finally when the technician came out this past Sunday the technician discovered that bedroom tv had never even been hooked up to cable!!!! My experience with customer service has been terrible.
First, I've been a customer for over 10 years. I call at one point to see what I can do to save money and all the rep told me is that he could lower my bill $20 and if I was unhappy, I should look for something else.
We called again today, were hung up on 2x and one of the calls, the lady was talking about someone steeling a chair instead of focusing on the call. Later, we talked with someone hearing our complaints and helped but then realized they had the wrong account number.

We were scheduled today 9/23/19, to have our service transferred from one suite (202) to another suite (211) in the same building, same floor two doors down today from 8am-9am. The technician came by and went to the old suite.

I have my cable and internet with Spectrum. I work 100% remote from home and over the last month and a half the internet service has been horrible and puts my job in jeopardy! I would like to get spectrum. For the last couple of years I call about getting service up my 700 ft driveway. 5000 dollars to get it installed. Really I don’t have that kind of money. I said I would run the wire myself you hook it up to the house and to the street.

So, I switched over from AT&T to spectrum Internet and Cable. A couple of days ago. I am sooooo sorry that I switched. First off, they sent me equipt. Which was fine. They never sent the two DVR’s I ordered. They did send out an Apple TV which I NEVER ordered. I don’t even know what it is. I opened it to see what it was thinking it was at least one DVR. NO. My issue began in June of 2019. After 8 month with spectrum, everything was going perfectly.
However, during the month of June a charge was added to my bill for a spectrum tv service, which I did not order. After a perfect 8 months, I thought I could trust that spectrum would properly bill me. I Noticed this extra charge in the month of August.
When I called the billing department, they told me they could not refund my money past 30 days and that they would cancel the tv service. Ever since I moved to Northgreen at Carrollwood in Tampa, FL , I have nothing but problems with internet. Had tech guys here from Spectrum many times, did some small adjustments, but my internet is not stable, it comes and goes.
Today the Spectrum repair man told me, that I have a good signal, however, one hour later no internet again. He told me to unplug some cables, wait a while and it will come back. I did that, yes it came back.
But this is not a permanent solution. I am paying for internet, which in the last few weeks I could hardly use. There has to be something that can be done so my internet is stable. If this happens too many more times, I will find something else.

On at least FOUR separate occasions, I have called spectrum and filed a complaint regarding a spectrum outside contractor. This person lives in the neighborhood I live in, he has on at least 2 occasions almost hit my father and I while we were on tractors, when we told him to slow down he stopped and flipped us the middle finger.

On both Sunday, September 15 and Monday, September 16, 2019, from 7 p.m. until I gave up on both nights, TV reception was so poor that it was impossible to watch TV on the local ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS channels.
It was very frustrating because I had waited two weeks to see a special on Sunday night on the PBS station and then not be able to.
On each of the channels, the screen was either black or so full of static that the picture was impossible to see. Sound extremely garbled.
Periodically, an image such as the one attached would appear. BTW, an image such as the one attached is not uncommon on many of the channels to which I am supposed to be subscribed.

Spectrum sales teams offered TV stream for a week of trial. It was a kind of forced on me through continuous calling every day. I denied for this trail for more than 20 times earlier to this but to get out of this pestering, I agreed for a week of trial and then I forgot about that.

you guys did a update 3 or 4 days ago. my dvr quit working and wouldn't load. the guy on the phone said my box didn't take the update and I would need a new one. I had a big wide slim box.
spectrum came and gave me a new box. taller not as wide and the clock was blue instead of gree. the box worked great for about 3 hours. then instead of the cable pixeling the screen just went blue. I have reset the box, unplugged the box for 30 min then plugged it back in.

The absolute worst customer service on the planet. Just moved in and they mail me a bad cable box. Setup the appt for them to come fix it between 9am and 10am the next day and it is now 5pm and they haven’t showed up yet and have only been told once around 1030am that they are running a little late.

My cable service is suffering from intermittent freezing and then pixilation of picture and sound on many channels. Over the past 2-months we have had service visits from 6-Service Technicians, 5-Maintenance Technicians and 2-visits from the local Service/Maintenance Supervisor. They have replaced every inch of cable from the main pole up to each TV and they have replaced the two Spectrum communication boxes.
Each time we are told that adjustment were made, however the issue still exist. I have made copies of these occurrences on several different channels, however each time I offer to show them to the Spectrum Technicians they decline and state they have made adjustments.

On 8/27 I signed with spectrum and paid $171.95. The installation was done on 8/31 by the rudest person I have come across in a very long time. On the next day the issue started with flashing screen and no way you could watch TV. So on 9/7 we returned all the equipment and I was told to contact the business office for a FULL refund. In addition I received a bill for $73.99 for the install when I was told it would be $50 with out any hidden fees.
