Online yesterdsy, I read that color copies are 36 cents each. Today I went to get 30 copies of a flyer. When I asked how much, I was told 12 cents because I had my own paper. When the clerk rang up the bill, it was way over her quoted price. 578! 20 for "Express Guarantee".

I certainly wasn't told that up front. All the ckerk was doing anyway was standing around waiting do something. 20 for her quick service. Will not be returning to Staples.

I really need your help to resolve a few issues….

1. First off I can not log in to my account online. The employee made me an account but didn’t provide me any of the info. I have no idea what they used to set it up.

Anyways, I’ve done business there in the past & have never had an issue. They were even able to locate my old order in the system & I reordered those .

2. My Main Issue is with the service I’m getting & new business cards that I also asked them to make.

I dropped my order off Friday March 1st in the am. The associate helping me was Jessica. I showed her pictures of the business cards I needed created & emailed them. I was asked what time Saturday I’d like to come in… I said anytime, thinking I’d be in Saturday pm.

Let me start to say, I shall NEVER order another furniture item from Staples ever again!!! If I continue to shop there I will make sure I can carry out my items.

From the time I ordered, my dissatisfaction occurred. I was never given the choice of day for my delivery nor did the associate mention it was next day only. I could not be home on your "next day delivery" nor was I offered another choice of day. After numerous calls to your your customer service, location questionable, I had to make many daily calls. On the day the cabinet arrived, I could not unscrew the screws to reverse your handles. No was said I would need to assembly as I would have asked the delivery person to do this. I shop at Store #1801 and the last two times I have shopped there my orders have been incorrect from the printing department.

Also the sales associate that has assisted me has been extremely rude, I did not get her name, she is a German lady and I believe the manager over the printing department. 1st. bad experience) I placed an order online to have flyers printed off for a conference my boss was going to in Chicago, I placed my order 24 hrs in advance, when I called to check on my order they were not able to find the order I placed even with my order #.

On 1/8/2019, I went to Staples at the location of 2957 Festival Way Suite 123, Waldorf, MD 20601. I went to the Copy Center as I needed to fax a document that was 34 pages and receive a confirmation. I was told to use a particular machine to receive a confirmation.

I was shown how to use the machine and entered my credit card and proceeded to enter in the fax number. I inserted the document into the feeder and waited. I waited and waited and waited for the fax to finish going thru.

I waited for approximately 30-45 minutes before an Associate named JAMES came to assist. He informed me that the machine may be frozen as it has done so before and that he could fax it for me behind the counter. I agreed.

I tried to order a laptop online with gift cards and had trouble so I called the staples customer service to help get my order completed. I spent an HOUR on the phone, put on hold multiple times. The customer service guy was polite but said he was having trouble with my two gift cards and visa card.

He kept asking for the numbers and could see the gift cards had the money on them but couldnt get the order completed. He kept saying it was their system and not an issue with my cards. I was put on hold for 20 MINUTES at one point and I thought he had forgotten about me ( I took a shower while on hold while my cell phone was on speaker to hear if someone came back on) thats how long it took them.

While shopping at the Mason Ciry Iowa store, your employee Stephen was working check out, and he shouldn’t have been. He was very rude and truly made us feel as if we were an inconvenience to him.. He made no attempt to engage with us, didn’t bag my item/s I had to ask for a bag.

And my husband wanting to purchase some items directly after me, had to tell him he wanted to make these purchases. If I could’ve found the same item at Target I would’ve asked for my money back right there and then.

I purchased several items. Then we moved residences. After unpacking, I realized that I purchased the wrong items however the receipt was missing. I went to return the items for store credit. I showed my ID (7 times). The cashier tried 3 times to make the transaction and was unable.

She asked another casier for assistance and she was also unable.

Finally they asked Kevin (systems "manager") a very short tempered, nervous guy to assist. He did not teach her how, but attempted to do it for her, 2 more times. He was unable. He then told us to go to a different register where he tried a final time.

We tried the offer of an email instead of a printed receipt. They sent it, along with 4 pages of ads with the receipt that printed on 2 separate pages. To me, that is so dishonest. With millions of customers printing these receipts, how many of us will have to order paper and ink sooner than later.

It is a scam in my book. We have a local Nextdoor site and will post my displeasure to 3000 locals.

Bought antivirus software online from their website. Clicked on the 2 year version which for some bizarre reason was the same price as the 1 year which I thought was odd. But when I checked the order confirmation it indicated it was the one year version.

Ended up calling Staples and they confirmed it was the one year version and said there was nothing they can do, its all your fault. I had an issue with them a couple of years ago regarding a computer I bought from them and had to return as it was a refurbished unit that was wasn't clearly labeled as such.

Staff are not well trained or particularly interested. Avoid dealing with this company on anything beyond paper and stick pens.

My son and i go jogging thrice weekly and my son, who is seeking a gaming laptop, likes to go into Staples (Gerrard Mall, Toronto) and view the gaming laptops. We are saving money for the laptop and I, his father am on a tight budget.

After several visits to the store to browse the gaming laptops and ask questions about their products, the staff became unfriendly, abrupt, and had one of their security people stand directly in front of us for our entire visit. We said nothing, and I suggested to my son that we should leave.

Regarding Mystery Reward offer valid 7/26/18 - 8/4/18. Staples store 22025 Hawthorne Blvd Torrance Ca. Purchased made on 8/1/18. Three employees could not tell me the dollar amount of my mystery reward. One employee Greg said the amount will show after my purchases have been rung up. 00.

He said no coupon for remaining balance will be issued. 00 or more. I read that (per Greg's request) to him. He refused to honor that. He said I did not have to pay anything, so I did not lose anything.

This does not make sense to me! Imagine if my reward was $1,000! 21 in rewards! Is this fraud? Jeanne

We went into the Athens, AL store today looking for a tablet for my father in law for father's day to find a small selection. So we opted to buy him a laptop that was advertised on clearance for $179.

When Tyler, the IT salesman approached us he told us it was not a good computer. When we explained the older gentleman we are purchasing it for just needs it to search the web on occasion, not save anything or play games or anything fancy....

he AGAIN told us it was not the computer for us. When we insisted this is the one we wanted to purchase, he went into the back and came out with the box, saying it would be $250 despite the clearance sticker reading $179.

I have gone to Staples several times over the past two years with 5 star service. The person informed me that they want customers to self serve. I explained that I don't know how to do faxing . The employee then asked for debit or credit card.

I do not have a debit card & don't use a credit card for in person business. the employee replied that I would have to purchase a prepaid card. I was quite upset & left the store. I am a senior .

won't be doing business @ Staples again.

I was assured it could be shipped in 2-3 business days. to be here 9 AM -5PM. I was told they had tried to deliver the package but no one was here so they left. I checked the tracking and they came to my house at 7:34 AM!!! Are you kidding me!

If they knocked when I was asleep even my dog didn't hear them!!!!!! all taped to the front door!!! WHAT??? This is a small laptop in an 18" x 24" box and I am getting very pissed off. really frustrated with Staples at this point.

Today, 3/20/18, I went to the Stuart Staples at 3150 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, Florida and I must say the Manager and most of the staff there are not very efficient. I saw one staff with around 6 customers at the copy center and she was very excellent by herself one black girl assisting as many customers as she possibly could, who I must commend does excellent work and four staff talking together so I asked if someone could assist me but they were not polite, professional neither efficient at all. This staff needs proper training. Rewind the cameras to observe the day between 3:30 and 4:30 PM. The Manager acts as if he's busy and has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHATSOEVER.

This is regarding the Staples in Sandusky, OH. I have been a guest in your store since it has been in the city. Using your store when I was employed through school system and also for my church. On yesterday 1/19/18 is the most upsetting experience I have EVER had.

I saw four employees in different areas. Looking for materials for church planner, calendar, ink and large envelopes on this day. Taking my time not rushing to make my selections a lady can pretend to straighten planners. Then a manager came out may I help you.

I ordered 500 Business cards a very simple card with Name, telephone number, email. I had to visit the store four for them to get it right. I came back the fifth time no cards.! I prepaid. I told them to cancel my order.

I visited the Battle Creek, MI Staples store on 9/16/17 and was waited on by Brian. I went to the check out with a TracFone prepaid phone card and a box of copy paper. I wanted to use my Staples gift card to buy the items and he informed me that I could not buy the phone card with it.

I told him that on two previous occasions I bought the phone cards with my gift card. He said they should not have let me. I asked why and he said you cannot buy a gift card with a gift card.

I was not buying a gift card, it was a prepaid phone card for my phone. I have the receipt where I purchased these before with the gift card. I believe I was treated unfairly by him. I have always like Staples for their courteous and helpful employees but that changed today.

On Tuesday, September 8th I visited the Pottstown Staples for a rush print job. I could not get the printer to work and a rep came to assist me after she was finished with her customers. She too could not get the printer to work but offered to take my flash drive to behind the counter and that the extra fee is very minimal.

I explained my rush and tole her that this was fine. 76. I looked at her in disbelief as this really was not a large print job and basic Word Documents. And she was shocked as well. She stated again that her running the copies would only have been a few cents extra.

In Staple store , RT 23, Wayne, NJ,for a hour and a half to have 11 bulletin board pieces laminated!! 00 !!!! I called the store to see if the laminting machine was hot, they told me it takes 20 minutes to warm up.

Recently purchased office furniture from staples in port Jefferson, NY. I have had more trouble with delivery than charges for assembly that were not needed. The desk was damaged on top I was told I would be given 15% off I did not receive my statement yet to confirm.

Today it would not open the key turning ok something in the mechanism that locks the desk is defective now I can't open the drawer where my paperwork is for the merchandise. I have had nothing but headache s since the beginning with staples and if something isn't done.

I'm reporting this to better business bureau for help.

I took my laptop in since windows 10 was a forced update I have had nothing but trouble with it asked if they could fix it they said yes. Well after 160.00 and got it back 2 or 3 days later it was still not fixed. After every update the screen would go black and web pages froze and had to pull battery pack to shut down computer, I know I did not have a virus or anything like that which Staples confirmed .Again they said they would re fix it. My complaint is very simple and truly sad that I must complain. But first in the business environment we are all in, service is truly critical to keep customers happy with the brand. I have spent thousands and thousands over the years with Staples, now I must find a new store for my purchases.

The night of October 30 2016, I arrived at the store 6 minutes before closing, I only needed a replacement cartridge for my printer. I asked a salesman for help, in choosing proper replacement. he gave me the replacement, I paid and walked out of store.

Well I bought a key pad and mouse combination on 9-12-16 noticed on 10-8-16 that the key and or the mouse would stick and not move for 15-20 seconds at a time would have to wait and start up again as the letters I would type would not appear. Now when I just used the key pad on my laptop it did not stick or miss type letters #'s etc. So today I took the keyboard and mouse back to the store to just exchange it. I was stopped at the from register and said they needed the box that came in.

I said I don't keep boxes like a keypad and mouse and said sorry cannot exchange it without the box. I was just in the Chelmsford, MA Staples Store and had a bad customer service experience. I was third in line when a new register opened. The first person was almost done and the second person in line had all her items on the counter.

When I seen she was not moving her items to the newly opened register I proceed to go to that register to check out. I was very embarrassed when Staples employee at the register yelled out "She was not next in line" very loud and very mean.

I said I was sorry and she gave me a very dirty look. I did not get her name (as I was very embarrassed and just wanted to get out of the store) at the register but, she was very rude to me.

I think that employee needs a lesson on how to treat the customers in your store. I will not be going back to that store.

Ernie (the assistant manager) at staples on Berlin turnpike in Newington CT, was rude and unwilling to help. I didn't have enough money to pay for the items, I requested to remove an item and he stated I couldn't. That I should pay then he would return the item and reimburse me.

I explained I didn't have the money in the account it would put my account negative. He stated it was easier for him and saved him steps. It was overall the worse experience I've had in a store. It was embarrassing and I informed him that he was very rude.

Had a scan done at Staples of a large painting my husband did, everything imaginable went wrong. They said they'd keep the scan cause we made a web store to sell the posters online and could get them as needed. They deleted the scan, took it back to have another scan & it was done so poorly that even the posters had lines in them (I did not pay for those cause they weren't sell-able).

I had to refund the purchases on the web store we set up and disappoint several people who wanted them. No one at Staples head office even apologized to us and every time i spoke with someone in the copy center it was a different part time worker who doesn't even know what 300bpi image is, always a huge line in there with overwhelmed employees. I called on 8/18/16 the Staple customer service number at 1-800-333-3330 and every option to select just had an automated recording and you could not select to speak with a live person. Then I called the Arundel Mills Staples office and spoke with the Manager Rashanda who said there was nothing they could about accessing my account.

Then she said she called the same 1-800 and got right thru. She had me on speaker with the customer service rep she called and that customer service rep said he would call me directly to fix the issues with my account. Went in to Staples needing a usb to hdmi adapter (I'm not even sure if they make these). Only one person at the tech desk with 2 people in line with laptops, no-one on floor. Looked through the aisles for 10 minutes before I asked for help. The tech guy said "sorry we don't have anyone". I responded that I just had a question and didn't appreciate him not asking if there were something he could do. . . I sent an email a few days ago, not sure if someone got it or just doesn't care. I was shopping at the Kelowna store around 2pm. I wanted help with some copying, and the girls at the desk were very rude, they didn't listen, they over charged me for something that didn't happen. I found this out when I took the pages home. 99 plus tax on 3/31/16. Didnt know if I would continue to work for said company at time of purchase so ask sales person what return policy was. He said it could be returned at anytime. the box had never been opened and same product is still carried at this Staples and I had original receipt.

I Have an account with staples, but I always pay direct, I wanted to buy toner ink, I wanted it the same day. 02 + vat. I went to the shop it was £17 including vat. they would not give me price match with online price.

My experience was a zero. I wanted to order something personal (wrist rest for work) to be delivered to a Staples store. I went online and for about an hour I had no luck bringing the item up and put it in the shopping cart. I called Staples to find out the correct item number, they gave it to me, tried again to no avail - the item # would not bring up a product (570951). So, I called Staples directly to order. Went to Medford staples to ship item between 7:00 - 7:30 handed the gentleman a package he quote me a price of $12 for UPS, he told me USPS would not ship my item and didn't know why. I left this store and went to Patchogue Staples to ship same product. Item shipped USPS.

Medford employee should be retrained to service USPS Products and treat customers better. Will never go their again, Kudos to Patchogue Staples.

I had trouble with my Staples rebate card. I went to a store to use it and it would not allow me. It said signature was not valid. The line behind me at the store grew to about 5 people who were getting mad and being rude because i was holding the line up because the rebate card did not work. I was embarrassed and got out of line. I called the rebate # on the card and was treated like an idiot. I got hung up on. I went home and called 2 more times again I was treated rudely and the gentleman told me to call back in 3 hrs. Then I called again and once again another rep. who was rude and i asked to speak to a manager.

On 4/20/2015 at Staples Sore located at Georgia Ave in Silver Spring, MD 20910, TEL 301-588-3977, I purchased an Office Home program good for 5 devices. The software was installed by an employee who opened an account. I went back to the store on December 26, 2015, to have the program installed on my laptop.

It was discovered that the Outlook had shut down site for abuse. I had never used the email account. I tried to change the password but Outlook told me that the account was not established under my identity and my identifying information.

So they opened this account, which I cannot access and to which I not know the password, so that my Office 365 is useless, and an account bearing my name was abused. I need to be compensated. My identity was forged. My software is useless.

I bought Office 365 Home, Kaspersky Internet Security, and paid for installation on 04/20/15 order no. 2113601541 at Silver Spring, MD store 301-588-3977. The associate who did the installation on one computer was Emmias, B. In order to install the Office 365 Home. I bought another computer from Staples, a laptop, and went on Saturday December 26 to have the Office installed on the laptop. It turned out that the account which was created on 04/20/15 with password Microsoft was blocked by Outlook because it was created using another person's identity and was used for illegal purposes. So I could not get my Office 365 installed on my laptop. I could not get the account changed because the identity was not my identity.

So here it is a staples employee used my user name to create an account…

I had requested Christmas Calendar to be printed as promoted for $9.99. The tech was insistent that she had to charge me $15.99 cuz no promo for my camera disc. We discussed this issue for about 45min. while she was pulling customers to assist them she had a very poor attitude then I found it was her last day working at Staples. I asked to speak to the supervisor then she told me that their new program will not process the photos from my camera disc/cartridges and will try the old program.. I told her I had spoken to a photo tech 2days ago and they told me I could make my calendar for 9.99 & again I asked to speak to Mgr. I had to go back to Staple to correct what this tech did about 4 times.

She 1st typed my entire name wrong so they couldn't find my order, then she typed my t/p # wrong…

I visited the Staples store located at : Queensbury Plaza 752 Upper Glen St Queensbury, NY 12804 P. 518.792.6900 F. 518.792.7497 Store #0254 about 3 weeks ago and asked a store manager for some help only to be told to look for it in the Kiosk myself. The man was Rude and could not be bothered to help me in the least. I have never been spoken to like this in my life. There was a new employee working there that saw what happened and so came over to me to help . I forget the mans name now as its been so long but it is in the initial report phone call if they even bothered to write anything down.

I do know the employee said that it was his 2nd or 3rd day on the job. He also commented that the store manager was in a really bad mood and he was avoiding him. There happened to be another manager…

Bought Toshiba Laptop Tech indicated all info from old computer could be transferred and Norton 360 was free for one year. Picked up computer tech indicted this computer would not accept Norton 360 Cost me $100 for security. Next issue transfer of documents. Could not transfer e-mails. They were in outlook.

Cost for outlook package $232 Transferred e-mails in old computer but could not send new e-mails. Did receive new e-mails in Microsoft mail but could not send.. Spoke to RCN my service provider. They sent me directly to webmail on the rcn server for incoming and outgoing e-mails.

Bottom line is the Staples tech people either took advantage of my computer iliteracy or are just not competent. I went to Staples because of tech support and it cost me an additional $332 for nothing. I did…
