Went to Stop & Shop in Greenville, RI (#705). I am a senior citizen (age 72) in a scooter (Multiple Sclerosis). I could not find French's French-fried onions and Half & Half. I asked a young lady for help. She shrugged, pointed at the store, picked up her cell phone, and walked away.

I asked a second young lady, who said the Half & Half was in the corner of the store and walked away. We went to the Pharmacy to pick up prescriptions, explained our dilemma, and he made a telephone call.

Caitlin came over, went with us to find the onion rings, and told us that the Half & Half was out of stock. We were delighted. Other than Caitlin and the pharmacy, the employees in that store are useless.

I went early this Saturday and at checkout I punched in the number to obtain my discount. The cashier was not able to input my number for my discount which I have used for years since 2016. She was rude and kept telling me if I am sure and I’m like i always used this number.

I did not get my $10 grocery dollars off that was on my card and I spent )192. I am very disturbed as I have used this grocery for years and never had a bad experience

I have a complaint about Kristina (cashier management) at Monroe New York. I had two charges to my credit card. One I didn't think was mine. I went in to the store to see if they could help me out and tell me what the charges were for.

I could not find a receipt and maybe she could check again . I spent about 5 minutes with her. She could not find the receipt on the computer. Her exact words to me were "I can't find anything in the computer" I said that was strange and if she could check again .

" When I go into Stop and Shop again and she is still there, not fired I am walking out of the store and straight to my lawyer.

I’ve been shopping the app pretty much, my whole life and these new digital coupons sent me completely to another store. It’s aggravating does not work on my card. It’s bad enough. You have to use a Stop & Shop card to get the best price now I have to go online to shop now I go to Market Basket no card no coupons prices same as yours on sale

I have been a faithful customer for many years, however your self checkout computers are the absolute worst I have ever dealt with. If they aren't frozen, they refuse to scan many items, they also rarely accept coupons, whether they are online or paper.

I have had to travel back to store to customers service countless times to retrieve money I was overcharged for. This is not only extremely annoying,but costly. You MUST do something about this. Thanks

My recent Stop and Shop receipt said that I had earned 20 cents off my gas, I immediately went to the stop and shop gas station adjacent to the store, but when I put in my PIN it only gave me 10 cents off. How do I rectify this? I have shopped at this store for many years and this is the first problem of this sort I have encountered.

The Stop & Shop pharmacy in Edgartown, Massachusetts, has got to be the worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. There is absolutely no sense of urgency or customer engagement at all. I’ve gone there several times in one week to pick up a prescription and I’m always told that I’m gonna have to wait until tomorrow, or for 30 minutes - even though I called it in a few days before even picking it up (knowing there M.O., I’m just trying to be courteous so that it can be ready for me by the time I get there).

I guess I’M the fool for thinking customer service was a priority for them.

Please investigate the way Tarsheen, interacts/treats customers. She was incredibly rude, disrespectful, and incredibly bad at her job. She just kept telling me to "scan it" as she sat in the corner. All I did was look up because I had a question, and upon relaying this to her.

She told me to figure it out!!! Like, what? I'm not saying, you need to fire her, although you should, you definitely need to consider some sensitivity training, or at least an investigation to document her behavior.

While cashing out at self checkout an employee known to me as Rob (parking lot attendent) approached me. I had recently offered him a part time job as a driver. Unfortunately he was not dependable. When he approached me and asked if I had a problem I replied that he has put me in a position by failing to be reliable.

I started to walk away and he pursued me quickly telling me his mother had cancer and this justified his actions. I then informed him to exit my personal space because he was less than a foot away. I started to walk away again and he said "walk away that's the right thing to do" Rob, a Stop and Shop employee issued a challenge so I immediately reversed course and exited the store accepting... He did not follow.

I reported this to 2 store managers. In short I should be able…

Stop and shop on villa ave in Fairfield has the most non personable customer service employees. Miserable and unwelcoming,. Terrible for customer service. Literally no people skills. The interaction with the customers is appalling. The woman behind the counter clearly had no desire to be there and gives the customers the impression that your annoying her or she’s bothered by you!!

I returned rice that had bugs inside and she gave me a look, that it looks could kill I would’ve been dead!!! Main Street in Bridgeports deli department is no better!!! I’m sorry but if you hate your job that much then just go!!

No one is forcing anyone to be there… Disgusting they way they are allowed to speak to people and treat them like they are idiots..

Just waited about 5 minutes for the service desk at your East Harwich store. It was only 7:45. No one was there, but an employee called someone in the back office. Shante' arrived and treated me with arrogance and disrespect, simply because I wanted to buy a Lottery ticket.

She said It's Closed even though there was time left. You might talk to Shante', who appears to have worked at the East Harwich store for quite some time, and let her know that there still is competition and she might value her customers with more care. Thank you. Keith Bradley

I had an awful experience there on Monday night 11/7/22. While shopping I grabbed a 4pack of Dannon lite and fit yogurt from the standing refrigerated case labeled "deals of the week" or something like that, in the back across from the backroom swinging doors. 00. 39.

I told the attendent who was a middle age woman with red hair who has been rude on occasion many other times that it rang up wrong. I offered to show her where I got it and that the price was label 2 for $4 but she just dismissed me saying "I'm too busy to look" and " I can't do anything about that" .

I had sent my daughter to do shopping for me as I was home recuperating from surgery. She typed my telephone number in because she did not have my rewards card. When she came home I noticed no rewards were given on my order.

I went back to the store a few days later to get this rectified but the customer service person said they put the store card in and I got my savings and there was nothing she could do. I explained to her that my digital coupons didn’t register and I wanted my savings.

She said she could not do that and it was too late I should have corrected it at the time of transaction. So I did not get my points or savings that I put on my card. I find this unacceptable.

I am disgusted! I placed an order yesterday and my total was $84 plus change. I have a receipt from you. Between last night and today, someone changed the total to $102.58. The problem lies with the diet coke I bought. Yesterday the price was buy 2 cases and get 2 free and today the price changed. I called a few minutes ago and a customer service representative said she would fix the problem, so hopefully that will work.

BUT......I can't believe your company is doing this! What is going on with Massachusetts???? This place is so corrupt. It seems like the end game of the state is to torment and violate the consumer. I went to Stop and Shop at 215 Glastonbury Blvd in Glastonbury today. Natures Promise ground beef was on shelf with expiration date of 10/18 or so. There was also 2 Good Yogurt on shelf with expiration date also in mid October.

There was a foul smelling odor coming from the frozen meat section. The store overall seems dirty.

Latest visit (11/03/2022 9A) I noticed that gal at checkout seemed to make a movement so that donation to Cancer Society page on console disappeared. When I asked, what had happened to the donation page, I noticed the response was "ok". When I inquired again, I noticed the response of "That was for October, this is November." A raised eyebrow from them found the same response.

What kind of store is Stop and Shop running that it allows grocery consumers to act on the whims of the checkout gals and not the other way around at check out? Worse, the little attitude that the gals feel that they can control what the consumer sees on the console by answering or pushing forward (in a self-serving way) is uneditorializable.

I normally go to the Stop& Shop store located on New Park St, Hartford, CT. S. Throughout last year and this year, the customer service is never opened on time. About 7 or more months ago, I finally called the store and spoke with the Store Manager ( Caucasian Lady), after having to wait for almost 20 minutes for the customer service desk to be opened.

A staff by the name Mercedes , instead of opening the store, she was talking with one of her peers and laughing while customers were waiting in line to be served. I reported to the Store manager, that this has been going on for months and also mentioned the staff involved to her.

You cannot fill your bags when you use the self check out until after you pay for the groceries so it takes twice as long as it should. This makes it impossible to use if you have more than a few items.

There's usually only one check out aisle with a live person to boot. Go to other grocery stores and you'll see more clerks in the check out area and if you choose to self check out, you can bag your groceries as you scan the items.

You do not have enough cashiers manning check outs, instead wanting people to use the self check outs. You cannot bag your groceries as you self check out, leading people to take twice as long.

Also it's impossible if you have many groceries to use the self check out because of this. I prefer Hannafords self checking for this reason - plus they have more manned checkouts too. You are losing my business.

You continued moving of product is frustrating to the point of being infuriating. It seems to serve no purpose other than confusing and frustrating the shopper. In addition there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. When I asked an employee where the tuna had been moved to he said "gee it was here yesterday" get my point.

Product = 6 88267 18923 4 (frozen shrimp) comes in plastic containers -- top and bottom -- that DO NOT have recycle codes. Product was great BUT containers could NOT be recycled. Please have recycle code added to this and ALL products you sell.

The rationale for this action is the climate crisis and if that get solved sustainability.

I have been shopping at Stop n Shop since I was a child, even held two positions at the Braintree,MA location. I have been impressed with the new layout designs at my Local Somerset,MA location. These days however the constant lack of human cashier's has left me wanting to shop elsewhere.

Thankfully for your supermarket there are none more convenient to where I live. The self checkout kiosks have become a real problem, especially since you activated the bagging area sensors. Last night I almost left my full cart at the station and walked out.

The man next to me was shouting for help since the self check out kiosks kept saying help is required for this item, this was happening to the five stations as well as the bigger self checkout aisle next to the smaller kiosks. I realize this may be…

On Saturday, October 21, 2022 @ 9:10pm, I went to the Stop and Shop Grocery Store at 287 Washington Street in Stoughton, MA to purchase some groceries. I went directly to the manager on duty (black woman) and showed her that I have a Virtual Visa Card in my Digital Wallet that I received as a gift and I would like to use it to purchase my groceries for the evening. The Employees save one don't smile, they argue about buy 2 get one free and the bagger volunteered to check while the young cashier could care less. At times she stared off into space. One register open with a line of 4 people.

The automatic system is horrible. Suggestion, get bags with handles. I will not return, I would rather drive several miles to Roche Bros or Shaws' even if it has higher prices.

I wanted to buy a balloon and I looked everywhere but there were only happy birthday balloons with the air. There was a stand with the balloons with no air I grabbed two and went to self checkout but it says you need assistance the cashier told me they can’t sell it without air but

I requested her if she can ring the balloons i am ok without air i can pay for balloons. 99 each so I requested her to charge me for same price but she did not. Then I requested to call the manager she called the manager and while i was waiting she was talking about me to each employee that was not acceptable at all.

I would give no stars if I could.

Today 10/21/2022 at approx 6:30PM I went to my local Stop and Shop on 600 Kinderkamack Road in Emerson, NJ 07630. I finshed my shopping and when I at the cashier everything gets rung up and the cashier simply plays with her cell phone texting and not even making an attempt to bag the groceries. I brought my bags as well. I even mentioned to her that its also her job to pack groceries. She simply looked at me and conitune to text on her phone. It is clear that whoever manages this store hasnt bothered to train their cashiers. I dont really want to hear Covid is an excuse since most workers include her werent wearing a mask. Your digital coupons are flawed. My receipt did not credit two digital coupons that I'd confirmed enrollment in today. Everyone hates your digital coupon system. You are discriminating against people who aren't handy with your app to offer two different prices.

I went to the seafood department and did not see anyone to help me. I walked over to the deli to ask if someone could call someone to help me and was told that the seafood person went on break and there was no one to help me.

I proceeded to call the store from my cell phone to ask to speak to a manger. Someone named Jason came on the line after a 5 minute hold and I proceeded to explain to him that I was waiting at the seafood counter and there was no one to help me and he hung up the phone on me.

I am very disappointed that you changed the formula for your mint chocolate chip ice cream. I liked the fact that this flavor had small chips and was different than the other brands. I had looked for the small chips ever since Howard Johnson stopped making their ice cream and I found it in your product.

I’ve been pleased to buy it for years. I bought another container and was extremely disappointed to see the big chunks of chips when I opened it, and the mint taste seems to be a little different too. Now this is like everyone else’s, not standing alone as one of the best I’ve been able to purchase.

I’m sorry to say I’ll not be buying this product anymore. Very disappointing.

On 10/13/22 at approximately 08:15 am at the Stop&Shop in Bedford MA I was shopping for chicken breasts in the meat department. As I walked over to the section where the chicken is, there were two employees, one male and one female.

The male was placing food into the cooler and the female was talking about a personal issue. The male had a boxed sitting on top of the chicken breasts; I stood there for 10-15 seconds, and he did not move out of the way.

So I moved the box over to the left of me about one foot. He became angry and frustrated and said something about why didn't you ask me before you moved the box, and then he said - under his breath but just loud enough for me to hear it - you idiot!

I am a regular customer at the Northampton, MA Stop and Shop store. In the last three months, the prices of all your items have increased drastically. Some of your items have been increased by a dollar. 99 for a 20 count package.

I believe this is wrong to increase almost everything in the store especially at such a high price. I believe toilet paper is an item everyone must purchase. The price shouldn't have changed this drastically. 99. at this time. If this price increase continues to occur, I will not be able to purchase all my neccesities and food.

I will have to ask my son for economic support. At least I have a son to help me but other individuals are not in the same situation.

I went to the stop and shop on Northampton Street in Holyoke mass for a Covid booster this morning. The employees were helpful courteous and professional, as always. The floor in the area where customers are seated to get their vaccinations was filthy, especially where the vinyl meets the carpeted area.

Really unacceptable, especially for a “medical” environment.

Went to the Delu at 7:42pm and they were closed. Asked customer service a day they confirmed they closed early. I said just because they wanted to. Person at counter said maybe they didn't have enough people to work. So customer service didn't even know.

Pretty sad a large company like STOP and SHOP, ,and the deli closes early.

Good Morning, I have to say I shop at your store for work and for home goods. Just want to inform you alot of your bags are defective, they split on the bottom with almost no weight. Over the past few months I have lost hundreds of dollars worth of groceries to this problem. Before you say carry it from the bottom I am doing that and still it splits at the top sides anywhere the least bit of pressure is applied. Please fix this problem it is costly to your customers and doesn't make shopping at your store a pleasant experience.

I have had two terrible experiences at Stop and Shop in Kingston with a "front end manager". named Evan. I sent an email to stop and shop and did not hear anything back. This man on two seperate occassions made me so uncomfortable given his rude words and demeanor.

He did not check my open properly with coupons and when confronted with it by the store manager, he gave him a terrible attitude as well and told him it was done fine. I had to go to the service desk and have them fix it.

I refused to go back to the store until just recently and he was there again. He took my items off of the belt and told me he was going to take another persons order. I have never been so uncomfortable with the presence of someone.

I was at your Hyannis Ma location yesterday morning and there was not one cashier or bagger at a register! I had a full cart as the individual behind me and it took for ever to check out. The register locked up no less than 4 times.

Why should we pay full pricing when you offer no help whatsoever?!

I usually don’t complain about Stop and Shop (Feeding Hills, MA) because I am pretty happy with my store. Today I purchased a package of the Stop and Shop squeezable apple sauce pouches for my granddaughter. It was supposed to contain 4 pouches, but there were only 3 pouches.

I was at the Stop and Shop in West Orange, NJ on 9/15/22 approx 10:16 am. I went to the seafood dept which appeared to have no one working at the time. After myself and another customer waited for 10 minutes without anyone coming.

I went to the deli dept and asked how can I get help the clerk said the seafood person must be in the back and she would be right with me. About 10 min more a short chubby guy entered the seafood dept without a word and came to the counter and rudely said “Yeah”.

I said good morning twice he never responded or apologized for the wait. He was extremely rude his name was Allan I believe he was the seafood manager. I don’t usually shop at this one and thanks to him I never will again.

He is not personable at all, maybe he should do stock so he has no interaction…

Do you know where I can buy Stop and Shop Sub rolls? You can't buy them in at S&S Saugus, Ma. Sounds petty doesn't it? It's the principle of the matter. Once in a while I find them but often they are not there.

The same goes for many other items. Every week I leave the store without 4-5 items on my list because they are not in the store. I go across the street to Walmart and they always have the items I couldn't find at S&S.

I have been a loyal S&S customer for over 35 years and will continue to be one out of convenience. S&S better wake up and smell the competition. Some day I and other people will have had enough and start shopping elsewhere.

And BTW, the newly renovated store is awful. It's been done for months and we (people) are still complaining we can't find things. The layout is…

I call in inquiring about certain prescription medications and the pharmacy aren't filling the prescriptions apparently because they only have partial medicine/prescriptions available. And inquiries are made about prescriptions the pharmacy asks customers if they prefer partial prescriptions filled (which is a redundant inquiry)
