My son got a 15 dollar gift card for his birthday along with cash.He was so excited to use them. We were extremely disappointed to find out we couldn’t use the gift card he received for a few Xbox gift cards. I have a very very sad boy. We don’t understand because it is another form of cash, it’s very ridiculous, who cares as long as you get your money...... wth.... I use to love Target but after today I will be finding elsewhere to go and never supporting Target again.

I visited the Potomac Mills Target in VA. I spent an hour looking around the store and picking out the perfect present for my nephew. I proceed to check out and the Disney, Star Wars, Nerf gun came up on system as not to be sold till tomorrow, but there was 2 on the self. All I got from the cashier and front line manager was can't sell it. They proceed to tell me that someone put it out and wasn't supposed to and they had a similar issue earlier. It was terrible customer service. I walked away telling them I wasn't purchasing anything in my cart and won't be back. They weren't apologetic and didnt care about my time spent there, or even loosing my business. They don't care about their customers or keeping them. This was last night after a long day of work, Thur 10/3.

Store location: 1300 W Lake St, Minneapolis, MN 55408 Who I talk to: Store manager at 10/3/2019 2pm central time I was trying to return a unopened gift card with receipt and the store manager rejected me with bad altitude by saying I could not return the item because I might able to use the gift card already so he refused to try to return it for me. The card is totally unopened. When I go to the target online, it is clear that I found the policy that I can return it with receipt with gift card unopened.

I am really angry about the store manager's altitude and rude to me.

, Toms River, NJ store. This is the most poorly stocked store I’ve ever been in regarding food and groceries. I’ve been a customer over 15 years and shop there twice weekly and have yet to complete my order due to half empty shelves most of the time I go there.

This is for products I know are carried and sold in Target stores. Otherwise the store seems fine. Who ever is in charge of food stocks needs to find a new line of work. someone needs a kick in the pants! but this is bad!

Hi I choose to take plastic bags as little as possible so I do not have to recycle them. I went to your New Lenox IL store and was checking out with one larger item that all the rest of my smaller items would tit inside.

So I did not need to bring a reusable bag with me. I bought the one large item and all the others were add on items that I did not have to buy. They were impulse items. I doubled the amount of my bill from $19 to almost forty dollars with the additional items that I bought but did not need.

When I got to the check out, I told your cashier to put all the items inside the large item and give me credit for the bags as I was not using your resources. I was told that she could not do that because I did not bring any reusable bags with me.

Target offered $40 off $100 purchase upon approval of a Red Card. I did this and placed an order. I was surprised when a person delivered two of the items to my door saying she was from Shipt. I did not intend to sign up for Shipt as I had never heard of it.

Looking it up, I was appalled to see that I would be charged a $99 nonrefundable fee if I didn't cancel my free trial within 4 weeks. I searched the Target website to find a link to cancel. There was none.

Target said I must cancel through Shipt. I called Shipt and was told I did not have a membership. I tried the live chat and was told the same thing until I copied/pasted the email from Target detailing the terms of my membership.

I was ending my shopping and approached the checkout stand @ the Fox Hills Target in Culver City, Ca. The Target team member I approached was finishing helping a customer when I inquired if she was open. Ms. Nayel (name on her name tag) replied, no.

I thanked her and joined a line with 4 customers in front of me. Not 30 seconds past and I look up and see Ms. Nayel helping a customer after telling me she was closed. I approached her and asked why she had done that.

On 09/30/2019, I tried contacting the Target on 17th and Yale in Tulsa, OK twice to speak with the store manager concerning a shoplifting incident at our store. The first time I called a young lady answered the phone stating she was Lead on duty; I told her my name and that I was with Reasor's Loss Prevention Dept. and needed the Store Manager and she said let me get Adam for you. A man picked up the phone, I could hear him talking but he never actually spoke to me then I was put back on hold. After 6 minutes, I hung up.

I tried back a couple of hours later and explained to the Customer Service person what had transpired on the first call and she said I will get him for you. Again the phone is picked up and I hear a male voice saying I can't take a call right now someone pick up the phone…

Stopped by Target West in Greensboro for a toy for a three year old. He was in a cart and we looked at numerous toys. An associate showed up to restock a truck and then theft loss goon 1 showed up.

No problem and we got a toy and checked out. Came back in the store for the three year old to use the bathroom and theft loss goon 2&3 showed up. Called customer service and she said they don't have theft loss staff..

I retired from law enforcement 4 years ago and don't appreciate the hassle....

I have been going into Target stores for as long as I can remember, since 1967 at least. It’s the only store I frequent for most all of my needs. I have always loved Target, however, I’m not happy about recent changes.

I do NOT like your employees stocking shelves during daytime hours. It’s cluttering the isles, I feel like I’m in their way and I’m certain the customers are in their way, plus they’re being taken away from stocking to show customers where items are located.

The next two things are not as big of a deal but worth mentioning. I don’t care for the flow of the stores departments and isles. It’s making it more difficult to tell where departments begin and end. I prefer the normal grid.

Also the music is good but it’s quite loud. My biggest complaint is the stocking of shelves.…

I had one of the worst experiences of my life at target grand central Toowoomba. One of their employees was very disrespectful. She scolded me when I was standing in the queue to pay for the shopping and blamed me that my son, who is only 4 years, was steeling candies from the store.

This has given me a shock. I don’t believe that employee. My son was standing there with me in the queue and he had no candies with him. Even if my son has done something wrong, she could have told me that privately, instead of insulting me in front of the entire crowd.

I am a Muslim and I wear a scarf my be that is the reason why she treated me like that.

I went to the Target Store at 3570 Harden Blvd, Lakeland, FL. I shopped for about 45 minutes and had a cart full of items to purchase. When I went up front to check out, there were no cash registers open, except self serve. I don't care to use self serve, especially when I have a full cart of merchandise. Even if I wanted to use the self service check out....there was a long line of people waiting to check out, probably at least 10 people. I left my cart and walked out. Target just lost over $100 in sales.

If Target wants to keep brick and mortar stores, they need to have plenty of clerks to check out customers. Lots of people don't want, or can't use self check out. I have heard old people, young mothers and fathers, handicapped and many other customers complain that they are forced to…

I visited the Cottle Road Target store in South San Jose CA. I was searching for an item in the bread aisle and came across this disgusting rotten moldy bread or was bread. I have no idea how long that would have to have been sitting on the shelf.

Your on line customer service people don`tknow how to handle thing very well. It was lego sale that 20% off . I don`t normaly spent that amount on lego but it was coming up to christmas . I have 2 ASD children and they love building it .

Now you so called online pickers are not going to pick my order but they have taken my money out pretty quick . They say that the money will be back in my account in 3-5 working days. which is never the case .

Now i have to drag my 2 ASD kids in a shop so I can buy them lego . My ASD don`t crowds, loud noise and they VERY VERY non verbal. I can`t leave them with anyone because they have melt downs when I am not around.

My mother sent an antenna back to target in opelika with someone who works there to do an exchange since she is 73 years old and doesn’t drive and I work out of town. The lady that works there had already explained that sometimes it will try to give a lesser amount but that she was told as long as you get a in store gift card that you would over ride it.

The lady that works there called my mother an said that someone was going to over ride it because it was not wanting to give back the full $19 it was only wanting to give $8. Well about 30 min later she called again and told my mother that the girl that said she would over ride it stated that someone told her that she better not do it because Anthony would have a problem with it, I later found out that Anthony is the store manager.

I went to Target Salt Lake yesterday and the system was down; we were not able to charge but could pay with cash and could not access the cartwheel app. I shopped for items using the Cartwheel but did not have enough cash to pay for all my items. The staff was very apologetic about the situation. Not knowing when the system would be working again, one staff member (I did not get her name) offered to put my cartwheel items on hold in the back and said they would hold my items. I gave my name and the staff member said they would hold them until the end of the week.

I went back this morning to get my items that were put on hold. The person at the customer service (did not get her name) said the Target policy is to hold items only till the end of the day. I explained that the system was down…

I went to Target today to shop for generic black pants but I had no luck. I used to be able to buy clothes in the petite section... I’m about five feet four, an average height . I had money to spend, desire for new clothes but the pants were designed for a giraffe, not a woman.

The legs were at least 4 inches too long in every color. I asked why and a clerk said she guessed it was a cost cutting procedure, and that I should plan on altering them, that all the pants came that way.

If I could afford alterations I wouldn’t be shopping at Target!. That should have been obvious to all of the buyers. I sadly came home with no new clothes and Target lost a good customer..

Target Cherry Hill Rd Maryland 9/24/¹9 @ 4pm The store could not process credit card payments. There was no notice on door no one greeting customers with this information instead they waited til I spent nearly 30 minutes shopping and another 30 minutes in line before someone told us Cash or Checks Only.

This could have been easily avoided with the simple and important management tool of COMMUNICATION. This action also caused me to be late for my Grandsons Birthday party since I had to visit another store (Walmart).

I am submitting this complaint letter on behalf of my friend and my wife. At 9th of September 2019, I bought vacuum cleaner for a friend as a gift on Target Burwood, NSW branch. It is a VAX vacuum with the price of $149 AUD.

After I gift it to my friend, the vacuum is missing some nozzle part and the suction power of the vacuum is disappointing, they said. So they kindly ask me if it is all right to refund the machine. I shop at TARGET lot and almost half the time one of the main items IS OUT OF STOCK!!!! We use the Luv's brand diapers and I walk all the way back to the baby section just to find out the store doesn't have them on the shelf.

They may keep literally 7 to 10 boxes of luv's brand sizes 1 to 6 and literally the size I need they don't have on the shelf we have 3 children in diapers. Then I have to walk up to the front and go to customer service and have them call back to see if they have any in the back and some times they do and most of the time they don't.

Now you need to understand that they have 3/4 of a ROW ( around 50 boxes) of pampers but only stock 7 to 10 boxes of Luv's. So now I have wasted my time walking to the back of the store then wait for the customer service to call or look…

com, I ordered a pair of Apple airpods from the Target app. I ordered them in late February 2018 and by early April 2018 is when they started to lose sound. The issue that I had with the airpods was that by early April the left earbud started losing sound, and by the end of April it had almost completely lost sound.

It had got to the point that with max volume I could barely hear it. Then by mid May the right earbud started to go as well. I was not sure what caused the sound decay they were never dropped or got water on them.

The earbuds just lost sound for no reason that I was aware of. I would like the problem to be resolved by being sent a new pair airpods, to compensate for my inconvenience. I still have the order receipt by emil and the box that contained the airpods.

I went to Target earlier today. I needed help in getting a phone cord and an Ipad cord. I asked one of the employees for help, told her I needed help cause I wasn’t certain which cords/size I needed. She pointed to the cords and said “you will find cords there”.

I went to where she pointed, I turned around to ask for help a second time and she was no where to be found. Yes, what I needed was much of nothing in that department. I ended up leaving without the cords.

I did buy other things in the store. You also need more registers open cause for a bit there I thought I was in another store with the long lines. I am an Unhappy Customer.

I was trying to buy some shoes and I got a receipt that said target could not sell me the item. A worker helped me and then called her supervisor to come help. The supervisor came over and said we can’t sell these shoes, took them out of my hands and turned away.

I said, “just so you know, there’s a lot of these shoes back on the shelf and she said she knew and was very rude about it. I’m just upset that target knew the shoes couldn’t be sold but they left them out.

And then the employee was very rude about it. I know that recalls happen and that’s ok. I was trying to be helpful and understanding and I just wasn’t treated very well. Even though they were the one that made the mistake.

I went to Target Eastgardens yesterday to buy a speaker and found one that I was interested in. There was no display speaker to test so I opened a box to hear what the speaker sounded like. ’ I said ‘no’ and he said that I was not allowed to open the box as it was considered to be theft.

By this time another staff member named Mia came over and bought into the argument. I thought Gurvinder’s statement was ridiculous and asked how I was supposed to know if the speaker was adequate if I couldn’t listen to it.

I recently witnessed some very unprofessional behavior from two supervisors at the Dekalb IL target store. I was waiting in line as these supervisors were talking to an employee about not having her hat on the female supervisor turn to look at me and kept talking to the young lady i eventually walked away and went to another Starbucks.

The type of conversation behind had should have taken place in a private setting and not in front of Guest and other employees. I will never shop at this store again if this is how their employees are treated. Which is sad for me because i love the ladies at Starbucks they know my order always pleasant gets me in and out i felt bad for the young lady!

We purchased a Vizio Sound bar system within the last year from the Target store in Salt Lake City. Within a couple of months it stopped working. We called Vizio and they sent us a replacement. Within the year the second replacement has ceased to work. We called Vizio and they wanted our receipt information. I don’t know anyone who keeps receipts from purchases from a year ago. There is nothing they can do to help us. We have a $350 plus product that has no power and doesn’t work. We are very unhappy. Is there anything you can do to help please?

I purchased a toy for a birthday present for my niece at the end of July 2019 and it was never opened. I paid almost $40 for the toy. I ended up not seeing my niece and she doesn’t live here in FL.

So I tried to return the toy and it was past the 30 or 60 day policy for returns so target only wanted to give me $5 if I return it. I said that’s crazy, do you know what I paid for this not even 3 months ago.

I have never heard such a thing. I always shop at target and never have returned anything, EVER. I’m blown away that target doesn’t refund the amount that was spent. I understand why everyone shops at Walmart now. They take back anything and they give you a gift card for the amount if you don’t have the receipt.

On Tuesday, 9/17, I searched for an iPhone 8 64GB on Target.com (see attached photo). Target was offering a great deal, $10 per month for 30 months. According to the website it was only available in stores. At the time, the Linden, NJ and Paramus, NJ stores came up with availability. I called the Linden store and they didn't have any in stock, despite the information on the website.

com . This extra charge caused a over draft of my bank account..... this is not a acceptable way of doing business and if this is how you all do things to your customers then we will never shop at TARGET STORES AGAIN.

This is costing me more in over draft charges than what we paid for the item pluse the extra cost of the item that We should have only paid for once . So if this is not fixed ASAP WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO TARGET STORES. VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE

I want to start by saying i am a long time Target customer AND a long time TGT stock holder. After today's Target experience, i am taking time out of my busy day to write to whomever will listen.I want to believe that the problems are store specific, but i'm not sure this is true.

I went food shopping at my local Target - North Bergen NJ store- i found an item that did not look right, Bacon bits that where gray. i looked at the expiration date and it was months past. These where real bacon bits, so to have expired real bacon is concerning. I looked at 3 or 4 random items all in the same isle and found 4 different items all expired, some MORE THAN A YEAR PAST THE DATE. There should not be ANY items this old ,let alone 4 in one isle.
