2021 Toyota Prius Prime Limited has a very thin windshield that will crack with a small rock even if you are going 55 mph. The windshield was made thin purposely so, you spend over $500 for calibration plus the cost of the windshield which is over 1k, and installation cost.

On top of that, the windshield is a backorder and it could take up to 6 weeks. Apparently the lightweight windshield and other lightweight material they are using in the body of Prius help with Prius's MPG. Toyota doesn't give shits about your safety at all as long as they make money and you keep your mouth shut.

I won't buy another Toyota. I should've stayed with Honda cars.

The rubber around the driver side of my glass fell out while driving on a major highway and I had to pull off to fix it which was very dangerous. Also took my car into service and while on the the highway I heard like the back Rear of the vehicle was being pulled off by the wind. Only to find out when I parked and looked under the car there was a loose cover.

I took my 2019 Toyota RAV4 XLE for an oil change at Bill Kidd's Toyota in Cockeysville, MD 21030 on 8/12 and I also asked them to look at the hood because the paint had peeled off in several spots. (Color is Lunar Rock).

When I picked up my vehicle nothing was said to me about the hood. I went and spoke with a Service rep and she showed me the one line that it was due to environmental damages. I asked to speak with the manager and he gave some crazy explanation that it was due to either gunpowder or that the birds were eating the cicadas and when they pooped it was causing issues.

I have bought 3 cars from this dealership and I can't believe they did not take any ownership of this issue. I have seen several articles of Toyota having issues with the paint they use. com/en/articles/54215/…

My Toyota Etios went into Auto Magic centurion on the 24th off June 2021. I’ve been updated by them re the progress of fixing my car, back orders of parts etc. There is a part that has been on backorder since the 11th of August and still no joy.

I have been without a car for 3 months now and am at my wits end. I have called Toyota customer services many times, just had to listen to some elevator music and was then cut off. PLEASE can you look into this.

0 stars if I could. This dealership will not follow through with verbal agreements. Thankfully there was nothing written down in a contract for a NON-refundable hold. The money put down was $300 for a car coming in and was verbally agreed upon to get a refund if my partner and I didn’t want to purchase the car and go through with the deal.

After deciding to not purchase, the manager of the dealership refused to give the money back and threatened that all calls are recorded. Our bank is now involved and will deal with this place if they do not give the money back. All over $300.

We had no written contract saying it was non-refundable. Absolutely unprofessional, horrible, and ridiculous behaviour.

To whom it may concern, I purchased a 2012 Toyota Highlander about 2 months ago from Toyota of Murfreesboro, TN. When I purchased the vehicle and the vehicle needed to be detailed. Upon receiving my vehicle back, I noticed that the backup camera wasn't working anymore. I showed it to the sales team and they tried to sell me a new camera even though it was working before it was detailed. They took another look and kept my vehicle for a few days only to tell me that the camera has water in the lens. And yet no results!!!

I purchased/Leased my 2021 Tacoma TRD Sport from Red McCombs San Antonio, TX., last October 2020. The truck has a loud winning noise from the differential. It starts at speeds below 50mph. When you take the foot off the accelerator, it stops but as soon as you accelerate, it starts again. I've also noticed that when the cruise control is active and I step on the brake, it occasionally feels like there's movement in the drive train. When I took my Tacoma for its 6000-mile service, the technicians confirmed the differential noise but said it was a normal thing for the Tacomas.I can't buy that.

I've read on the Tacoma World website where other Tacoma owners had their service departments check the oil in the differential and report that they found metal shavings.

I have purchased Innova Crysta BSVI G model on 30/11/2020. After 8 months on 08/08/2021 the engine of the car suddenly stopped while running. I repeatedly called Toyota personnel but unanswered. Next day with the help of my sales representative the car brought to Topsel Toyota Ruby Park Kolkata.

The service manager said this is may be for low fuel quality. The catalytic converter, fuel injector should be changed. But this is not true. The fuel was BSVI diesel and ok. Then what was the reason? Service manager said this is manufacturing defect.

So, I do not want to take back this car and I want compensation for this 12 days. Thank You.

I have left my car for 3 days for service maintenance after 40000 miles driven. I try to contact them. The customer service transfers it to service department and my number was noted down. I don’t even know the status of my car since they neither pick up the call or call me back.

How irresponsible one can be , I work everyday but since they are not being able to do their job properly,I have not earned penny for 3 days. I thought toyota maintains professionalism. But I am totally disappointed. There should be 0 rating as well . Service is awful

Brought my Tacoma brand new, keep it in immaculate condition. Drove it from New Jersey to Oregon and my taillights cracked with no signs of impact. Toyota will not cover my taillights. Would not advise purchasing a new Toyota. The company is not what they used to be

was very rude he told me that Toyota pays him a lot of money and that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle there is still s squeaking coming from the vehicle and they will not take the time to figure it out they said it was a plow bracket hat was on the truck so I took the plow bracket off and the squeak is still there then

Took my car for repairment, had an appointment at 4 pm. I told the adviser (David) that I was waiting there at the dealer for the car to be fix. They let me waiting there for 4 hours. Tired of wOKaiting.

I ask in one of the office if they knew anytihing about my car , and they were astonished why I wasn't informed about it. a car.

Also Need to get transportation to work next day at 8am, because the car is not going yo be ready at that time. This is not a way to treat costumers.

On the morning of 7/30/21 I aarived to Toyota for my 9:15 appointment at about 8:50ish frank the person I was supposed to talk to didn’t come see me until after 9:30. I waited and waited at the dealership for a patch to be done on a tire.

I sat there for nearly 3 hours! I had to go inside to check what was taking so long and at this point I’m frustrated bc I’ve had no contact with Frank. I was upset bc the week before I came in and they patched a tire and were supposed to rotate my tires, I wasn’t charged for the patch.

I was charged $30 for a patch and that upset me. My tires must not have been rotated bc they told me I needed an alignment. If that was the case why wasn’t it brought to my attention the week before when they did my $40,000 mile things.

At 61,000 miles I had to replace a blown head gasket and since I was over the 1,000 powertran warranty I had to pay out of pocket at Sparks Toyota in SC. 24 months to the day (40,000 miles more) I blow another head gasket.

Leaving me stranded at Albany Georgia 413 miles from home. I had to rent a car and I have been dealing with Toyota “experience” for the last two weeks.

First they assumed I was getting a used engine put in and refused to help and offered me 1700 toward a new or used car (I still have to pay off my original car). They offered to pay $2500 to replace the gasket project.

We had a 2005 Tundra with 166000 miles on his truck and a rusted UNSAFE frame. I understand there was a recall related to the manufacturing of the frames made during certain years and certain models and was told “his car was not involved in the poorly made frames His car is unsafe to drive as the frame is unable to sustain the weight of the gas tank.

This could of caused great injury to him and others had he not notice that the frame was unable to sustain the weight of the gas tank and had the truck towed for safety. I took my 2016 RAV4 Limited to Dunning Toyota in Ann Arbor,MI. Routine maintenance and…an automatic rear hatch problem. Hatch would not operate from dashboard button,key fob or button on hatch itself, as it should. 00 to tell me it had tobe initialized, whatever that means.

I trusted Toyota, paid my bill and returned home. Several days later I find same hatch problem. Did not rerun to Toyota. Local mechanic found motor inconsistency on right lift bar of door. Repaired now and operating as new. 00.

I consider my 2021Toyota Prius Prime LE unsafe to drive due to software issues that can be distracting as well as very frustrating.

1) Car does NOT charge properly. It will charge from 110v current, but on 220v it charges at the 110 rate. I am now paying for time charging that is excessive due to the car not charging at the advertised rate.

2) Some controls are placed in difficult to reach positions IE: the control for the automatic head light dimmer.

3) The air-conditioned on the key fob does not work.

4) The control for the radio (on the steering wheel) can turn the radio on, but not off. To turn the radio off you must go to the radio on the dash panel and hunt for the radio knob. This takes your eyes off the road and is a clear distraction to proper driving.

I took my 2005 Toyota sienna to the service dept because I couldn't change gears. The transmission cable had busted. They said they would order the part and fix it. That was 6 weeks ago!!! They have only called me once during that whole time.

Every time I call or come in they say "the part should be here soon" they still can't tell me when the part will come. I am disgusted with the service dept. This has been at considerable inconvenience and expense to me.

Lost title to car I financed in 2006. BMV needed proof that the title had been released so they could replace my title. I tried calling every number I could find. 800 874-8822 and 800 331-4331. One number said no one could help now and to call back in 90 min.

Having a recall done on my sienna 2020 due due to the fuel pump

I was told the service could not be repaired on a Saturday due to time it takes to repair the recall so now I have no transportation. When requested a car rental I was advised I needed to pay? I questioned why since Toyota is the one at fault here putting in a faulty item into my car and the response I received from the dealer Was corporate won't reimburse them because corporate feels they are doing the recall for free. Ummm isn't that what they are suppose to do? I should not have to pay for a rental! I have been a Toyota owner for over 20 years. If this is what Toyota is going to start doing to their customers then I will not but another car from them I have never had to pay for a rental for a recall.

Dear Toyota Corp. I would like to make you aware that I have filled a complaint with the NHTSA concerning my 2019 Highlander. On July 2 as I was exiting on to an excess road I applied my brakes the engine made a roaring sound and sped up.

I took my foot off the brake and placed both feet onto the brake but the same thing happened. I was about to rear end a car already stopped at the intersection at the bottom of the excess road. My front collision alert did not go off, or stop me.

so my only option was to take the lane to my left that was empty. Since I still could not stop I was forced to go into the intersection and was TBoned by another 2019 Highlander. I came to rest on the opposite side of the highway.

Bad experience!!! Brought my car in to Hendricks Toyota in North Charleston SC because the tire pressure sensor was on and i needed a tire rotation anyway. Checked in and went to the service desk to talk about what i needed.

Jeff Dunbar right off tells me that the mechanics will propbably recommend an alignment and i said ok. He comes back after an hour an tells me that two passenger side tires failed inspection and one tire had a nail in it but it couldnt be fixed because the threading was too worn.

My car has 42222 miles on it. He wanted to sell me tires. I said i wanted to do some research first. He said ok. An hour later he says they are done. Thats when it got weird. Jeff still wanted me to pay for tire rotation and alignment.

i bought a certified preowned 2016 tacoma limited 6 months ago. last weekend i had mt son in the back seat and he said he qas getting wet as it was raining outside. the windows were up. whe i got home i noticed the floor was wet and behind the seat was wet on both sides.

i took it to the dealership in hammond la. this at 730 this morning. 5 hours later he tells me the third brake light is leaking and it is running down the sides and under the carpet which is now molding.

this is not a mechincal failure so it is not covered under warranty. i have an extended warranty that does not cover this. this is now going to cost me $2500. is there anything you can do to hellp this issue.

i have bought 3 other tacoma trucks and this is the first time i have ever had and issue.

I have a Toyota Camry 2018 Auto SE The lock stopped working on the driver side (smart key) the I have to open the door on the passenger side then press the unlock button STILL DID NOT WORK. I HAVE TO CLIMB INTO from the passenger side then MANUAL press UNLOCK THE DOOR.

I called the dealer service and they want to charge me $144 to open the door and then anther charge on top if they have to change some part. Toyota PLEASE MAKE BETTER QUALITY CAR. I PAID extra for these luxury functions and stop working after 3 years.

I paid to have Remote Services installed in my 2020 Camry. For an entire week I spent many hours on the phone with various representatives, often on hold for extended periods and always transferred to another department. Nothing I did would work to install the function.

On two separate occasions, I was told that your tech support department was connecting the service automatically. Neither time was successful.

Finally today I called to cancel the subscription. I was told I could not have the entire amount I paid refunded because it was prorated! My late husband and I have purchased Toyotas for many years. After this experience my opinion of Toyota has changed dramatically.

Clearly something is wrong, either with my vehicle or your service. I am very disappointed.

Lets examine how Toyota treats its customers. Helped my 76 old mother purchase a new Corolla Hatchback as my dad suddenly died before they could go car shopping. I needed to wait for the state license plates to arrive so as to replace the plastic dealer branded plates. I find that the the rear dealer plate had been attached to the rear bumper cover using two shorter self-tapping screws.

There are two 2" x 2 1/8" holes completely through the bumper cover, exposing the internal aluminum structure of the bumper. Just above these are screws holes with metal clips. These are for mounting Japanese license plates, but are not even usable for that as the metal clips have no internal threads. I was serviced on June, 28, 2021 and spent over $400. I also had the state inspection done. I called a week later to get a copy of the report. Monday I called 3 times and got no response. Tuesday I left a voice mail with BETH ANN ROSE who is my service person, and got no call or response.

Wednesday I left voice mail email and called and she did not respond. Thursday I called service again and was left on the phone for 20 mins to be told that they will take a note and call me back.

All I want is someone to email me my inspection report and they keep giving me the run around. I'm very upset and refuse to return to Toyota ever again.

Wife on vacation from Texas staying at Fort Walton Beach. Had a noise coming from front of car. Called to see if they could check see if it was something major. Again she is on vacation from Texas. They told her it would be the last of August before they could look at it.

I took my 07 Sequoia there in May. They rotated and balanced my tires. Since then, two center wheel caps have fallen off at different times. They replaced the first one at no charge. The second one came off in my driveway and had obviously been broken.

It still has the 2006 sticker from when it was originally put on the car. I went to this dealership again. They are refusing to replace the second cap, claiming that the plastic cracks over time. The plastic shows NO signs of deterioration.
