Bought a brand new Toyota, when I picked up it had over 400 miles and the arm rest back lip started to pill off, I went to Toyota they said it was a.maintenance issues. Maint wanted me to pay for the poor craftsmanship to my vehicle.

If 0 stars were an option that’s what I would give them. Their customer service is horrible. They can’t do a simple thing to make their customer happy and want to continue business with them. I have gotten the response “there’s nothing we can do” and “we don’t see anything we did wrong”.

There is always something a business as big as Toyota can do to compensate. And if a customer is upset with the service provided they shouldn’t be hung up on or told they can’t do business with them. It’s sad and disgusting that is how they treat customers.

I am the owner of a 2012 Toyota Prius. I went for a service at Freeman Toyota in Santa Rosa, CA on 08/18/12. I was told when I went to pick my car up that I had an "engine oil leak around timing cover area, near connector. Forming oil droplets found.

Pictures were attached to the repair order. A "red flag" went up for me as I was leaving and saw other service employees showing a similar picture of an oil leak to several customers. They said mine was serious and it needed to be done immediately.

I was told that this leak could start a fire in my exhaust. The cost to fix it would be $3,000! We went to another auto shop for a second opinion and the owner said that we were the third family who came in that day and were told the same thing.

He added some dye and told me to drive it around…

I scheduled my first maintenance appointment for my brand new Camry today at the Tumwater dealership in Washington state. There is no oil change for the 5k scheduled maintenance, its essentially a tire rotation and visual inspection. I was told this would take approximately 1 hr.

My appointment was at 8:30. I had my 3 and 5 year old with me. At 10:15 I was informed my vehicle was ready. Upon check out I was informed that my passenger rear tire was leaking air. I asked why they didn’t fix it?

The receptionist did not know why, I then asked if they could fix it since it’s my daily driver? I was told it could be fixed but it would take hours. I asked for a loaner car so I could take my young children home.

After a recall for paint pealing, the drive side off the vehicle panels makes a loud noise when drive over 55-60 miles per hours. It seem like the entire right side is coming apart. This was complaint to the shop foreman, along with the weather seals being loose and heavy pant chips inside on the Vehichle upholstery.

I called to request a unlock service for my car. ETA at the beginning was 30 min after I call 40 min more. Then call again and they told me 30 min more. Two hours after I called and they informe that driver has an inconvenience.

I have to wait 40 min more. I never received a Courtesy call to let me know what’s is going on. And the lady hang out the phone. Worst service ever

I attempted to install Scout GPS Link and after going through the setup I now have no apps in my Entune App Suite. I called customer service 6 times this morning and was disconnected 4 of those times and given incorrect information once and told to call the dealership. I did so and was disconnected again.

com. DCH Toyota of Simi Valley dealership responded within minutes and said the car was indeed available, same VIN same stock number. com. com gets access to their listings. com, then all the sudden they tell me to check their for current pricing on their own dealerships website.

com for having the wrong price. Hopefully more people see this before being ripped off by Simi Valley Toyota. com and Simi Toyota. One of them is wrong and just out to rip-off people make sure they don’t rip you off.

Terrible detailing on exterior and interior. Bad communication. No manager on weekend so you have no recourse but to leave your unfinished car at the dealership. When people tell you 'don't take your car to the dealership, it's expensive and the service is bad' they are talking about Manhattan Toyota.

I have a 2019 RAV4Edge. Had a noise coming from under the car, took the car back to the dealership they couldn’t find it, so I drove it for another couple of months but the noise was getting more consistent so

I took it back and told them to keep the car till they found the problem and they did find the problem in a couple of days and told me it was the transfer case so they ordered the part , that was 6weeks ago still no part, they told me another 2 weeks.

I find this is just not good enough. Over 8 weeks for a part. Please tell me if this is normal.

I would like to file a formal complaint against Domsco Motors LLC DBA Hillside Toyota, 139-65 Queens Blvd, NY-11435 regarding breaking the trust factor. I have recently purchased a certified pre-owned Toyota Rav4 from them on March 31, 2021. I was told that the vehicle was 2018 year model but after the purchase I found it is 2017 year model. On top of that, on the window sticker it was clearly written that the vehicle has 51,216 millage but later on we identified that it was 54,947 millage. Which is a severe offense of not sharing accurate information. Moreover, when they removed the windshield sticker, we found there is a crack and we informed them instantly. I took my <1 year old Toyota Tundra into the DTLA location. They told me I had a fuel pump that was recalled and I should change it. I did not want to change it but they said it was covered at no charge. So, I agreed. I drove it a little bit and the check engine light came on. I brought it back in to DTLA service and no one was there to help me. No one acknowledged me and I saw service associates talking to each other. There was only one other car, so i know it’s not busy. To whom may care, I don't mean to sound rude but my experience has been nothing short of disgraceful. My son purchased a certified preowned Toyota Tacoma(2019) in December of 2020. The next day the vehicle started making this high pitch squealing sound and the dash started rattling.

The drivers front tire was obviously out of alignment as it was canted out. The trim pieces(on the roof) on the top started flapping after he washed the truck. We contacted the dealership to get the vehicle serviced and have been met with many difficulties.

It started out with a rude receptionist who refused to let me speak with the manager. Victoria at Camelback Toyota in Phoenix Arizona thought it was hysterical that I had to continue to call to try and speak with a manager.

I only have my car serviced at Team toyota Schererville in. I bring my own engine filter and cabin air Filters. Today I was told it would be a 20$ charge because the technician do not work for free. After complaining to the General manager they did it for free as usual.

I will never ever buy another car from Toyota Schererville or get my car serviced. I paid 97$ for oil change and tire rotation absolutely ridiculous

I spoke to a CSR to see if I could change my payment date. She wanted a "complete" address. which she would not accept. she accepted. She was already a bit snippy. After verifying other details, she had to verify address again.

I got it wrong apparently. it is! She kept talking over me. I was chuckling because the whole thing was quite funny. I know my own address. because she would get one. That was insulting. Im from Scotland and speak English.

She then thanked me for calling Toyota and hung up. This lady is in the wrong job. I feel she was being unreasonable. She asked for my address if it was on an envelope mailed to me. more than once.

She was unfriendly, and cut me off more than a few times. My issue was not solved.

Hi I have purchased the new battery for my Camry 2013 from Sloane Toyota Malvern on June 2020. After 2 months whenever i used to start the car had starting issue i took the car to showroom they said battery good just recharged the battery.

I contacted Toyota to try and resolve an ongoing issue regarding rust in my 2011 Toyota truck bed. Although there has not been a recall for my truck, there have been for other 2011 tundra’s for rust in the truck bed as well as a service bulletin issue for 2007-2011 Tundra’s.

The service bulletin is for "truck bed floor rust/corrosion. I tried to plead my issue and met with repeated "they don't show a recall for my truck" Even though I advised of the service bulletin. I finally asked to talk to a supervisor.

They advised that there wasn't one available and they would be contacting me back within 24 hours. That never happened. I waited an additional 48 hours and called back. My call wait was 48 minutes before I got a service rep.

Hi, I would like to make a complaint to Toyota customer service Kajang staff Rigina ( not sure the correct spelling name) who had been rude to us (me, my husband and my staff). At first, I sent my company car Toyota Camry Hybrid PNA7720 for checking water licking.

She mentioned 3 times to diagnose is no charging. The technician mentioned at first not the air conditioner matter, had to take off the desk board for further checking. After one or two days, he told my husband that was air conditioner hose blocked by something.

Totally incompetent

Vehicle came back extremely dirty after paying over $200 for a complete detail that took 5 hours. It was barely cleaned with visible stains everywhere like they attempted to clean it in the dark. No effort whatsoever and staff was very unprofessional when it was brought to their attention. Did not try to remedy the situation but further agitation ensued by making up blatant lies. July 6 service, You Replaced original wiper blades, approx. $40. Just now I lifted one wiper up very gently to clean grime from underneath, it simply fell apart into my hands. VERY FLIMSY CHEAP MATERIAL - compared to old blades which had weight to them, They held together thru downpours, snow storms, wind for 5 YEARS. What do I have to do now, buy a new car.

I am 84 yrs. old so it took me considerable effort to figure how to get that blade back on the holder. I turned wipers on to test, it is holding for the moment, doesn't seem like it is firmly latched. I don't want to get caught in a rainstorm with blade malfunctioning!! dangerous.

Good afternoon, today I have experienced the Worst customer service from a resolution officer in my life of during business anywhere and with Toyota Financial Services. I have been faithfully making my monthly payments for 4 years and trying to continue during this pandemic.

On Friday, July 10, 2020 I submitted a payment online as I have done for the last 4 years. For some reason a mistake was generated for two payments. I called and spoke with two people, one by the name of Leilone agent 1LEE who stated she is a resolution specialist.

I explained the error and was trying to have one of the payment removed. She stated unable to do so, explained my mortgage payment would have insufficient funds. I didn't want to stop the payment but delete one of the payments.

On July 6th 2020, My daughter took her 2008 Toyota Prius to Toyota of North Hollywood. She was having a problem with the shifter stuck in neutral and not able to move the car. We had triple A tow the car in to their service dept. to get analyzed to see what the problem could be. They said that the car needed approximately $1600.00 in maintenance costs, but settled on the replacement of a new 12 volt battery as they said it would address the immediate problem. They kept the car overnight to see if that was the problem to be on the safe side.

My daughter went to pick up the car the following and then they came up with another problem that the hybrid batteries were leaking and that it would cost an additional $3000.00 to replace that. All that should have been looked at first in my opinion…

I own a 2013 Sequoia Platinum (under the name of Michael Bettis, my husband who is now deceased) pearl color. I don't have the exact date in front of me but the paint on top of my vehicle begin peeling and I had to have it repainted at Palmers Toyota in Mobile, AL. I also had to pay out of pocket which didn't make me happy plus rent a car service. Now, I have the passenger front door that is peeling. What's going on Toyota? I always drive a car for 10 years and NEVER have any of my vehicles had a paint problem. I don't feel like I should have to pay any additional personal money to correct this problem and it's obviously a problem with this color. I have owned a 2012 Toyota Sequoia for 4yrs. Just recently I noticed paint peeling off back door and roof. We t to my Toyota dealer Dick Hannah Toyota and was told they couldn't do anything. Then I started researching and found that there is a big problem with the blizzard pearl paint and the super white.

They are taking care of millions of paint jobs but are leaving out certain cars like Sequoias and highlanders. It's bad paint not the vehicle. So I now have a car that I can't trade in because of peeling paint.

We who do not have a car on their list are out of luck. I am still going to try and fight this. My Sequoia is in excellent condition with only 51,000 miles. My trade in value sucks now.

Your secondary air injection system is a joke. Everyone has had problems and it’s way too expensive for what it actually does. Take it out it doesn’t work. Stop rigging your recalls I have a 07 tundra and you doing the recalls screwed it up even more.

My 2010, 4 cylinder Toyota Camry is using extreme amounts of oil. Car was manufactured in 2009. I was told to call corporate Toyota to see if it could be included. Called Toyota and was told there was no recall issue with my vehicle based on the vin # and since we did not purchase the extended warranty there in nothing the could do. (approx 1 qt/150 miles).

The engine burns oil excessively over 5 quarts every 350 miles. I also believe this problem is getting progressively worse, this oil burning started 4 years ago at a smaller rate 1 -2 qt per oil change now it has doubled.

It now has 124k miles issue started at 85k miles

I bought a new 2019 corolla zr hatch my dashboard was gritty. I bought microfibre cloths to wipe the dust off. As I wiping noticed it left server scratch marks on the dashboard. On the 15th of April 2020, I went Lander Toyota in Blacktown for a 30,000km service.

I spoke to Micheal the service personnel I told him what happened and his response was he'll give me a call when the mechanics are finished. I just recently traded in my 2017 Toyota Prius for a 2020 Toyota Prius, to get a newer model and lower my payments. I noticed that financing added TMIS - VSA at around $3k, which raised the payments a bit.

When I requested to cancel it, I was only offered a reduction in the amount financed and no change to the monthly payments because they decided to shorten my months from 72 to 60’ish something. This is unacceptable, given the situation that I was rushed through the entire process under duress.

The dealership rushed everything and omitted things due to the pandemic. I believe it is reasonable for the deduction of the amount financed should keep to the original 72 months, in which my payments would be lowered. Given the current state of the world, this seems fair.

My current 2019 Avalon Touring is the fourth Avalon to own in a row. This one was by far the most expensive and I am less satisfied with this one. One of the reason for being dissatisfied is because of a somewhat loud bumping noise coming from under the car on the driver's side.

This sound is not always continuous happening and is more predominant when there is a head wind. The noise is very annoying. The car has been to the Brunrr Auto Group shop in Brownwood, Texas three times. Two times they have tried to find the source, without success.

The last time, the only thing they could find, that could be the problem, was the noise shield below the engine. The part that was loose and appeared to make the same sound was removed however, the noise did not go away.

Today I picked up my car from the service department at Heritage Toyota Owings Mills at 15 Music Fair Rd. Owings Mills, MD. I was totally excited to get my car back from having it gone for a week for repair that was under a Toyota recall.

I was pleased with the work that was done to my car.

However I was not satisfied with the lack there of concern with an issue that came about while my car was in their care. I had exterior paint job done to my car so there is no reason my back windows won't roll down from the switch on my driver's side door but they don't.

Motor vehicle, auto-supply, auto and motor-vehicle-repair, including bicycle repair, aircraft repair, heavy equipment repair, watercraft/marine craft repairs, car and truck dealerships and related facilities" I have been trying to get my tires out of storage from Welland Toyota, but their Service Dept. is closed indefinitely! I need my tires.

They don't have to switch them out on my truck, I will take them someplace else. I just want my very expensive tires back!

I have a Toyota Prius. I think that it is a great car. This day I brought it to Toyota Marin because it did not start correctly. They installed a new 00544--21171-325 battery 12v. 50 dollars. I think that this is an outragous price for a battery for this car and am surprised thatToyota would condone a practice such as this.
