Had a problem last week. Phone would not connect to internet. After 2 calls and @ an hour on phone the tech gave me directions to follow step by step and then phone was able to connect to internet using data.

However what he didn't tell me was that he was having me hard-reboot of phone which lost all of my contacts. Hundreds of them. Tech support, when I called them @ this , in the end said too bad for you.

We can't get your contacts back. They didn't inform me they were having me do a hard restart of phone and that there was a chance of lost information, photos, audio and video files etc. I still have all the photos. They came back.

The text messages don't show the texters name only the ph. no. That is some help.

However tech support is incompetent and has created a worse situation…

There is a push to move their at&t users to the Verizon network by using irritating tactics. TracFone intercepts outgoing calls and sends repetitive messages about the switch. They are only motivating me to switch to a new carrier and it will not be a Verizon company.

I have contacted TracFone company and spoke with someone at least 10 times a day for the past 14 days and they keep telling me the same thing over and over I am on the government plan and my status was never interrupted yet they cut my phone service off and and every time I tried to speak to someone about it they would transfer me over and I would get disconnected I spoke to someone this morning she wouldn't give me her name and

-I agree 100%. Tracfone is absolutely the worst. I was their customer for about 10 years and put up with their absolutely abysmal customer service. My last attempt to deal with the lasted 7 days and I spoke to at least 20 service representatives and my phone is still not right.

Nineteen of them did not speak comprehensible English or did not understand English and/or were totally incompetent. I highly recommend that Tracfone be avoided at all costs.

Their customer service is absolutely terrible.

First, they make you wait on hold for 20 minutes, then an agent answers the phone and repeats asking you the info you already entered in their system. Second, they will not listen to your questions nor answer them, they will simply read you a script they have in their employee manual, and are no more help than the AI that "helps" you online. They literally cannot provide any more help than the website provides without human interaction. The point of human customer service is to be able to do what the computers cannot - i thought. Thirdly, every time I have called, my call is dropped while an agent says they are transferring me. On Monday January 2 I lost my phone service and it has not yet been restored. I cannot be make or receive calls. I also had problems with 8nternet and texting but they are fine now with some interruptions. When I contacted TracFone to speak to an agent, I am a SafeLink and lifeline customer, I was informed that the Verizon towers were down nation wide in one sentence and

1/9/23 I called one week ago today to have my husband's phones replaced. Both being a Samsung Galaxy A01 and not quite a year old. From the images it is clear that the battery in each phone has swollen & has become a fire hazard or worse a potential bomb.

The young lady I spoke to told me that she was sending "A" replacement phone and a safety box to return both phones. She also gave me a ticket number for tracking purposes. 3 -5 days delivery, she told me.

She also told me that when the phone arrived to call back so they could do his information transfer & help him to not lose anything. I was ok with the loss of one phone to insure the safety of my husband as they are his phones.

Exactly 1 week later no phone, no box. I called Tracfone first thing this morning to find out of course…

I have used this company for my kids phones since 2009. The current level of customer service is abysmal. 5 hrs trying to get the issues with my son's phone not receiving /sending phone calls or texts. I have been ignored by the chat support, hung up on by my "technical" call back, and flat out lied to by the 2 customer support worker.

They refuse to refund the remaining time on the phone and refuse to even trouble shoot, saying their towers are out, well we haven't had service for 5 days. Pretty sure even if the tower story was true, they haven't been out for 5 days. Look elsewhere for service. Such a disappointment

I called customer service because my husband could not refill his minutes. Iopted to receive a call back and explained this to the representative and she hung up on me. I am now waiting 30 minutes for another call back.

My service was shut off on 1/3/2023. I had no notice of this happening. After off and on for 5 hours, I am still without service. I had an old email when I forst set the phone up. They cannot assist me with anything until I log into an email I have no longer.

I have been a subscriber for several years with Trac Phone. My service is paid until November 2023 but they cannot authenticate my account. This is poor service. Now, I have had to pay for another phone just so I can get my service back.

This is disgusting to say the least.

We subscribed to Tracfone services for our daughter because it was convenient and not expensive. It was her first cellphone. We started back in September 2021. Fast forward for Christmas this year we bought her,through the Tracfone website,a new Iphone 11.

She was super excited about it. 1 day later her phone stopped working,she couldn’t send text or call anybody. After countless call/char with Tracfone we finally found out that her phone had been deactivated because she supposedly sent 900 texts in a day which is ridiculous and false.

We were never warned,they didn’t show us proof of what they were saying,we just had to take it like it was. Now she has no number anymore,no way of reactivated the phone,they refused to unlocked it either so we can’t even use it with another carrier.

I had to get a new phone as I had 3G so Tracs sent Orbic 2200 and I called 18008677183 to help with transferring information minutes and phone number from old phone to the new Orbic phone. What a nightmare the service department does not know what they are doing and they are from another country and you cannot understand them!

Why can't you call for tech help from the Corporate Office in Florida. The customer care wasn't able to do anything right and three weeks later I still have problems. My old phone had 20279 minutes on it as I had the phone for years and paid for all of those minutes.

I was given an old phone from my brother. He got a new phone and did not need the older phone. He called and told tracfone to unlock the old phone so I could start service. After talking to 4 customer service people they turned his phone off and put his phone number back on his old phone!

I told them not to bother his phone number or account and tracfone kept making us verify his account. I repeatedly told tracfone to leave his account alone and start a new account for me. Tracfone is falsely giving information. My tracfone is having issues with texting anyone on an android phone. My husband and daughter have the same carrier and same plan with tracfone, both are having NO issues.

Customer Service, two different agents that it's due to my carrier. How can it be due to my carrier when my husband and daughter have no issues.

I feel tracfone is forcing users to push them to upgrade. There answer is to send a new sim card. I not able to contact my clients a losing money.

This is a major inconvenience. The agent said she could not put me through to a manager.

TracFone had to update their system so my data would work again. 3 gigs of data, and 10,000 texts. They said I used it. In the morning I had all that. Asked them how can I use all that in 4 hours .

Have a defective phone called customer service no one would help me kept being put on hold and phone by tracphone is a piece of crap Blu131DL phone. Very very poor phone just got a week ago does not work right it's defective.

I paid for 1 year of service I barley got 30 days of service and was told by customer service that over 100.00 only got me 30 days of service....when confronted about it I was hung up on after being told there was NO SUPERVISOR I COULD TALK TO. I mailed my phone via UPS to the specified tracfone address on October 7th, 2022 and it is now December 19th 2022 and I have yet to receive a replacement phone. Tracfone then losses my phone and I still have yet to receive a replacement phone.

The corporate department keeps giving me false information just to end up having the phone hung up on me. They are also sharing information with one another when I call back. This level of incompetence is unacceptable.

Two days ago I called Tracfone to see if they could set i up so that I could access voicemail by using the voicemail app on the phone. They made changes in an attempt to do so, but finally told me that it wasn't available for my particular phone.

Yesterday I tried to access voicemail on this phone but wasn't able to. I called Tracfone this morning and was told the reason I couldn't access voicemail, was that I had no minutes left on my phone. Two days ago, at the time I called Tracfone to adjust the voicemail settings, I had lots of mobile data, approximately 300 minutes of talk time, and thousands of texts available on my phone.

Somehow some thing that Tracfone did, removed all the minutes, all the mobile data, and all the texts from my phone. I have attempted repeatedly to be allowed…

Tracfone was replacing a phone I bought from them that would not take a charge. It was fairly new. I returned the phone and was told it would be replace in 3 to 5 business days. It is over a month later and I have not received it.

I call and call and get told something different each time but they have addressed it and I will be getting it in 3-5 business days. I called today and was told a similar thing. What do I do? I have been given all these ticket numbers. First time 1265369926-2.

Tracfone is really ripping all of us off big time now. The plan I was on gave me 3 Months of service for $20 that's $6.67 per month. The cheapest plan they have now is 2 months of service for $25. Do the math people that's an INCREASE of $5.83 PER MONTH! So now I pay $12.50 PER MONTH instead of $6.67 PER MONTH almost DOUBLE the COST!! Its total BS.

They cut off 1 Month of service AND AND raised the price by $5 - a double kick in the teeth. Damn corporate greed!!

Time to look elsewhere. I'm sure other companies will easily be able to beat that.

Been w/tracfone for yrs & no problems, until about a month ago when I bought a new phone w/more stuff. Galaxy A13. 1st one could get it to call or text & called cust serv a dozen times. Bought another A13 thinking the 1st one was defective. But no, same problems.

I can't call or text & have called 5x since yesterday. It gets fixed, then 2 hrs later, it won't let me text or call. I have an 80 yo mom w/cancer who I absolutely must be able to get ahold of.

If I can't rely on tracfone, I'm DONE WITH YOU.

Also, anytime I was to get a call back, 8 out 10x, I NEVER GET ONE!! One rep had the nerve to ask me if I was sure about that number. Yes, I'm POSSITIVE!! Your customer service is horrible!!!!!

You all sent me a box for my home phone. It is broken, doesn't work. Phone quits working every 2-3 days. Then I call Straightalk, the people on the phone don't know what they are doing. They just read a script, acting like they fixed the phone, then 2-3days later, it stops working again.

This has been going on for 7 weeks, since I got the home phone box. I asked for another box, but they said they couldn't send me a box, for me to go and purchase another box. Why should I have to buy another box when they are the ones who sent me a bad box?

I have my phone bill deducted from bank account, every month. On the back of the box it is a "VOID" sticker. One of the agents told me to take out the Sim card, now it won't go back on & stay in.

I am going to call the Attorney General's office today…

I have been a triple minutes for life customer for years. On December 2nd I spoke with one of you customer service agents (Authur) to purchase a annual plan that triple. 5 go of data) I gave him information he said it was taking awhile for it to show up in my account and to call back if it did not.

I waited about 30 minutes checked my account and only 1500m/1500txts/1500mb data showed. Called customer service back spoke three different agents and no one could help me as why I didn't get all minutes when I asked for a supervisor they all claimed that they were supervisors and that there's no refunds or a corporate office I could talk to.

I'm just very disappointed that this issue could not be resolved.

On 11/23/22 I was online and called into customer srevice.

First of all dealing with an American company I would expext that customer service agents would be able to s[eak audible english.

Second, after 8 hours of frustration I received the minutes I had payed for that one of your customer agents wiped out. I still do not have all the data or texts that I had. zthis is the second time this has happened and the second time data was non functional.

I would rate your customer service at o for the most part they don't listen and second it should not take 8 hours to rsolve your problem. I am considering taking further action with the BBB and FCC should I not receive the data and texts I should have.

Subscribed to House phone service with Straight Talk using phone number 541-942-9129. I also had a cell phone subscription with Tracfone using phone number 541-359-9581. Realized the redundancy of having 2 separate carriers so cancelled my home phone service with Straight Talk & opted to use my cell phone as primary carrier.

Have been trying all day to have the old Straight Talk phone number transferred to my cell phone with Tracfone but am evidently requesting something beyond the grasp of Tracfone agents & their robots. 00 purchasing time with Tracfone last month!

Customer service guy tonight refused to listen to my questions then HARASSED ME, then started pounding on very loud keys to get me to hang up. I could hear him laughing about it!! I asked for a supervisor and he HUNG UP on me.

Ticket # 1263987294. I have been without a phone for over 2 months now. I was asked by Tracfone to send in my defective phone which I did and it was received there on October 12. For the last month for at least 3 hours a day I have been on the phone with Tracfone trying to figure out where is my replacement phone.

Each day after hours on the phone and being transferred from person to person, my calls being dropped, and all the returned calls without a valid solution; I still do not have a phone. If I call the pre-recorded line it say that a package has been sent to me but there is no email or tracking information available or being provided to authenticate.

The last person I spoke to on Friday, November 11 was in the warehouse and asked that I give the phone another few days to arrive…

Tried to activate a new unlocked google 7 phone but was unable to. After 2 SIM cards were tried, phone was thought to be defective and was returned. The tech at Best Buy found the radio to be defective. Bought an unlocked iphone 14 and that could not be activated either.

We were on the phone 15+ hours trying to get this problem resolved. Kept being told a code would be sent to cell phone but I kept explaining that the phone had no service so that was not possible. Then the agent said it would be sent to my email that could be accessed on my laptop. Code not received.

I bought a phone in October that stopped working. From July all the way up until today I have had nothing but issues with getting a replacement phone. Customer service has lied and given false information more times than I can count.

My defective device was received 9/28/22 and I still do not have a replacement. The phone calls I have made need to be investigated and most of all I still need a replacement phone. This has got to be illegal the way I have been treated and I can never get anywhere with this company.

If this matter isn’t resolved so I will be speaking with an attorney and anyone else who will listen about what I have been through.
