I have been a Trac phone/Straight talk customer for about 3 yrs. i am 60 yrs of age, and my husband is 62. 5 months ago, my phone stopped working. My husband went to Walmart, bought me a Trac phone and had the man at the Straighttalk counter activate my phone.

Because my husband and I har on a fixed income, I choose to go to a less expensive phone carrier. On Monday, August the 16th, I called the new carrier and we got the old carrier rep on the phone to see about porting my phone number over.

The Straight talk rep said he would process the request. I got an email on Tues, Aug the 17th saying the transfer was unsucessful. I called today to see what the problem was. I awoke this morning to NO service!

i tried to move a telephone number with track phone . they lost my info doing this . i had thousands of minutes on this account . the best they would do is give me 1200 minutes back. very poor service they should have a record of how much time i had with them .

Tracfone customer support is a joke.The chat support is a low level support with associates in Bangladesh and India.Poor English level skills,rude and unprofessional attitude.Phone support is a level up,but they will keep you in the phone forever.For a simple broke-return-repair-send back to customer service been a month and still no device received.Never ever buy anything or use services of this unprofessional company.Beware!

IN REFERENCE TO: 8/9/21 ticket#-1 2 3 8 9 0 8 5 0 2- customer service agent Carmel #512-245. I use a basic flip phone with my tracfone service, which requires 'basic voicemail'. Each month after my auto pay, they switch my service to 'visual voicemail' and each month I have to call to get it switched back, which is only a 2 minute fix once connected to the proper support.

This requires a level 3 support and for some reason nobody wants to connect me to level 3 and the call turns into a major ordeal that takes about an hour for a 2 minute fix! Well this last call I spent an entire afternoon trying to get this fixed, the first call I was told to give it 4 hours or call back the next day, the second call consisted of, after he pretended to connect me to level 3, only continuing the call…

3 month old phone would not power up so I contacted Tracphone to return it. The return authorization email did not contain links to open the shipping label to print. I contacted Tracphone again and they said all they could do is send me the return label in the mail.

I received it about a week later and returned the phone on . I was provided an original Ticket #1234761105 opened 5/15/2021 but never received a replacement. When I called back on 6/28 Iwas told the replacement phone was sent out 5/17/2021.

Been a customer for over 6 years, all my minutes are gone! Not possible! Should have hundreds of minutes! At least 3 hours on phone last night! Last manager hung up on me! said he couldn't hear me???!!! Why didn't he call me back?

No easy way to contact anyone and my time is too valuable to waste another hour on hold waiting to talk to someone with some knowledge about what happened! Went through 3 supervisors I think they just pass you around till you give up! Will NEVER recommend Tracfone!

I called to transfer my service to another carrier and was told it would cost $66!!! , paying customer for 12 months. this is incorrect. i have had a tracfone for several years and have always bought cards and added to my time.

i have never missed a refill. i think this is a very poor policy. i hope that now you have my card # your company will not bill me for anything else. i only gave authorization for the $66 unlocking fee and nothing else.

i think this is awful to treat your customers this way.

00 data plan around 6pm on 7/14/2021 and they cheating me out of my data service as well as the data service that came along with my plan. I believe all this is due to me being on the Gangstalking list.

I signed up for a plan with unlimited talk and text for a year on a smartphone for my teenager. 2 months later the phone stopped texting. When I called Tracphone they said I signed up for a limited plan.

5 hrs on the phone with a representative, They said they could not do anything for me. The only option was to pay more money for the service I originally wanted. It was very dishonest. (Beware that what they are advertising is not accurate.

) The fact that they could not credit my account for the usage or change my service for a mistake their representative made does not make sense. They were not willing to take responsibility for a mistake their representative made.

I have had issues with tracfone since April of this year. I have called numerous times to have the issues fixed. And they still can't get things correct. The latest is I wanted a refund on my unlimited plan because I canceled it and instead they take all the minutes and texts that I had (over 10 thousand BTW) I CAN NOT BELIEVE the incompetence you have at customer service.

I will be leaving Tracfone . I am tired of explaining myself over and over and not getting anywhere

You will NEVER speak to the same person twice. You will have to explain to mindless people operating in a secondary language countless times. Minutes,data,texts went to 0 after upgrading phone. I spoke to 22 reps/supervisors over 5 days trying to get my min/texts/data restored prior to update. Only PARTIALLY replaced. HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE.

If I could, I would change svc. I will file a complaint with the FTC, the FCC, the BBB and various websites to let them know that this is happening many times. Tracfone basically calls you a liar. They CLAIM they are unable to check your data from the old tracfone to the new tracfone after the old tracfone has been deactivated.

I have been a Tracfone customer for many, many years. I purchased a NEW Samsung J7 Crown phone for my wife. I paid $100 for it. She was delighted with it at first, until it just locked up and we could do nothing with it.

I talked to the first of MANY Tracfone employees, explaining, over and over, what the problem was. I sent back my dead phone back for replacement, I was told once Tracfone received my phone I would be sent a new replacement phone. I spoke to a cooperate supervisor on 5/27/2021 who told me the replacement phone had been sent and I would have it by 6/1/2021.

Today I called and was told it hasn't been sent out, and after review it should be sent and delivered to me by 6/9/2021. The customer service rep. was unable to give me a reason why I was given incorrect information or why there was such a long delay.

There is no reason that I should have to wait this length of time for a phone and have no means to make even emergency calls once I'm out of my home.

5 GB. I also buy a plan so I have more data. When the data ends on the plan I buy I call in and have them swap me over to the lifeline plan. Now they are telling me I have to wait 30 days for the plan I bought to end.

No new rules have been incited and I've always called in to swap over when I use all my data. I've been doing this for 4 years. They said, I could buy a plan and they would swap it over but they won't swap it over for free services.

How can they do this when no new rules have been applied. I got into it with a manager and that's when all this started. I caught them in several lies and recorded it. When I told the guy I was recording and caught him in a lie, he said, whatever.

I have a automatic refill plan for monthly service days. 53 on May 10. Trying to get a live person to help with this is like talking to the moon. Please find someone to correct this, since my service days are coming up again and I do not want to pay double again.

I have made several calls to Tracfone customer service only to become so frustrated that it takes months for me to continue to try and solve my problem. S. 800 numbers which can be linked to the most frequently dialed international numbers.

Spoke to rep 4/27/21 when noticed back of Motorola Moto G7 Optimo Maxx (XT1955DL cost $119.99) peeling away exposing computer chips inside. Tracfone agreed phone is defective, under warranty and they will send me a replacement phone in 3-5 business days of equal or better level phone. Ticket # 1233852059. Turns out they will NOT send a replacement phone until I mail them back my defective phone, so process delayed several days and during that time I had no phone (I have no landline, only cell so no way to call, text, connect with business, family, friends, etc.).

Safelink.... I was refused a replacement phone because they had sent me several ones that were overheating years ago and I returned them. I was transfered 7 times. I ask to speak to a manager but they just pasted me around the call center floor.

The last rep admitted that they'd never actually transfer me and laughed at me. I was totally disrespected. It's all a scam now to try to sale phones not help people like it was intended to. So I'm stuck with a phone that goes dead the min you take it off the charger.

But if you leave it on it gets so hot it can't be safe.. I'm going to a different company after 8 years. I was shown today, that not valued as a customer at all.

I have an Alcatel One Touch phone from them and it will NOT ring. After several attempts to resolve the problem with them it is still not fixed and they offered to send me a replacement. This was on August 15, 2020. They told me they would ship me a replacement and it would arrive within 3 days.

Today is August 19 and I still don't have the new phone, and they have disabled my service on the old phone and I need to use it today to call my veterinarian about my dog. I called them and asked them to reinstate my service until I got the new phone and they just blew me off. They told me to buy a new phone. LOL this is on THEM and if I buy a new phone it will NOT be from them.

I called and spoke to a supervisor at their Unlocking Department at 1-888-442-5102. I explained i purchased a phone on tracfone website for balck friday to replace safelink's cheap android, safelink now cancelled my account about a week ago and i needed the phone unlocked.

I have been dealing with an issue for over 2 hours this afternoon and then was told they couldn't issue a refund today and that I would need to call back tomorrow. I am not happy at all. and this is how the issue started.

Spoke with an Edgar whom according to him, he’s a manager//supervisor. It took 34 minutes of phone ringing to pick up then says the configuration of the phone when I updated it locked it back to tracfone && will not unlock the phone.

Says if it worked it worked if it don’t now it don’t you have to buy a tracfone SIM card to use the phone. Very rude, didn’t seem to care. Says he will now record the call since I said I’m filing a complaint.

Simply put I had a balance of 710 mb data and added 1GB (1024mb) and 1.5GB (1536?mb) of data when I purchased a 365 day adder to my account. After purchasing on line the text and talk totals were updated properly. However, the data only totaled 3.16mb although it should have been 3.26mb. The agent finally agreed with my math and indicated that it was a software generated number (of course) and he could not resolve that. Finally, he added 100mb (manually?) and all was resolved. (buyer beware).

Yes, that satisfied me but if I am not being credited 100mb an a purchase of 2.5gb (4%) does this mean that your software is programmed to only post 96% of each purchase? I really do not want to believe this.

On the 10th of each month I am charged for my talk, text and data. Prior to 10/10 I had over 500 MB of Data. 19 mb left. Apparently no one at Tracfone can go back and check what my balance was on 10/09.

Therefore I have to just assume the rep is correct. I always keep track of my balance of Data prior to the date of cc being charged. Have been with Tracfone for over 15 years, time to go elsewhere.

Your phone bank in the Phillipines is useless. Everyone simply reads a script and repeats it over and over. They don't have a clue as to what they are saying. I have been a customer for decades, yet today is the worst ever.

Somehow my "data" is wiped out for the first time ever. I have never used it, but having it gives me additional resources in an emergency. I looked today and my data is "0". I haven't used it and I always buy the same package that includes date, time, and prepaid minutes.

Where did my data go? No one wants to address this. There must be records whereby you would see what my purchase history is. The Phillipines tries to tell me there was no data included, which is not true. My husband and I have been purchasing the same thing for years.

VERY disappointed with Tracfone's "RE-NEWED" phone. I purchased an Iphone 6S Plus on August 22nd and i was having some issues with it holding a charge right from the start, but didn't think it was worth complaining about. Then it started turning on it's side and I would have to turn it off and back off again to get it to the upright position.

Again not to much of a bother. Then on September 22nd the phone completely died. I called to say I would just like to return the re-newed phone and purchase a new one and send the old one back. Not only was I not allowed to do that, I was told that the warranty was up by 1 DAY!!

After having phone service with them for 3 years my phone service went down and for 3 solid weeks I was on the phone with them for hours at a time trying to get the phone working again. They could not get it to work.

They told me to buy a new phone and call them back. I did and again they could not get it to work. I spent 2 days and many hours on the phone and no one could get it to work.

I called in to change my phone number of my TracFone I followed the steps I never did receive the text and it never changed my phone number. so I got on a different phone. the phone does not recognize my passcode for my lock screen.

I renewed my service on 3/11/19 with expiration date of 4/3/20. Two weeks ago I got a "Dear Valued Customer" letter saying I would not be able to utilize the phone because it will soon not be functioning. However I could buy a new phone for a discount. I wrote to Mr. Pollak and a service rep said they would not send me a free phone nor would they return my annual fee. I do not wish to spend more money so they told me they would do nothing more.

Accidently, inactivated Tracfone and when reactivated, lost 600 minutes.

Passed around with 4 different representatives for over three hours and was finally hung up on and still lost 600 rollover minutes.
