I called your agent Phillip in your call center. I explained to him that my husband and I (recently) tested positive for covid. My husband is currently in ICU which makes it impossible for us to travel to New York tomorrow. (August 6, 2021).
I was told that we would have a penalty for canceling, which I disagreed with.
However, we are unable to travel so I have no choice but to cancel my reservation.
Moreover, I informed Phillip that New York has changed their laws/policies which requires parties dining in restaurants, parties engaging in any social settings to be vaccinated. We are unable to get vaccinated for ninety days after exposure to covid. I asked to speak with a supervisor to further explain my situation.
