Uhaul is the most unprofessional place. they will lie to get the money. I have 2 storage units and I have been there over a year. the employees don’t know how to talk to you on the phone nor in person.

I autopay my bills and yet they tried to get my payment off a card that I don’t use and I just got the call Friday about it ,when it was due to come out on the first. I have never been spoken to so rudely.

I already have my own health issues and I don’t need this. their screw ups are costly for me. I asked that you please getup and go to the office and see for yourself. Please look into this matter at once.

I recently used U-haul to move my stuff. I drove only 7 miles before returning it back to U - haul office. On top of it before returning i fueled U -haul with a gallon of gas. Still they charger me for 4 gallon of gas.

i have attached my receipt. It clearly shows total mileage run is 7 miles and additional ~16$ for gas. i tried to reachout to dealership . Dealership feels it is a technical issue with U-haul data. however they cant fix it. they routed me to their regional sales manager. whenever i am calling this guy it always gets into a voice mail and i never receive a call back even if i leave a high priority message. so poor service .

I rented a storage unit at my local uhaul on 09/08/2021 hoping to be able to get some of the excess items I have in my house out for a while. I hadn’t been able to go for some time because of work and after a few days I receive a few days later on 09/13/2021 at 12:33 pm that since my unit doesn’t have a lock on it will be closed and moved out in 24 hours.

I wasn’t able to give a call same day because I worked and didn’t see the message until after I got out.

However, I made sure to give a call on 09/14/2021 at 9:59 am and let them know that I would be able to make out this day after 5. I get there and was told that my unit is closed and if I wanted it I would have to rent it all over again.

So first off was a message never sent and I was lied to on the call or did the location not check…

I stopped at the U-Haul Supercenter on Alta Mere the lady had just finished filling somebody else's bottle and was starting to walk back in as I was pulling in I lightly tapped my horn and she just kept walking so I got out of my car and ring the bell buzzer for service another lady walked out there and refused service because I tapped my horn at an employee This Is How They Run your business they won't be getting mine

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I rented a truck in stroudsburg PA and they said none were available in the area so they sent it to Hacketstown NJ which is 35 mi away from the original pick up location. When I tried to call to see if there were any closer location to me or if we would get extra miles to go to that location since it would be 70 miles round trip plus tolls we were transferred around to the same numbers, WV, North NJ, and Pittsburg PA.

The Pittsburgh location was the only helpful one to get me in to inch with the person I needed. We we received a call back from the Stroudsburg PA representative she was extreme rude. Reservation online does have the ability to know what the stock of product is by location. I know this because you allowed me to reserve and canceled the day of pick up and I called the local branch where they confirmed they had none.

They seem to be unimpressed as well. You also took my credit card which I know feel exposed

Rented a truck from UHaul in Rapid City SD (20 Deadwood Ave). The picking up part went well. The staff was reasonably personable and helpful. The return was an entirely different story. I returned the truck before it was due, around 4:30PM.

There must have been a shift change. Replacing the late morning crew with a couple a punks devoid of any people skills. I parked the truck and started heading towards the office with the keys. I saw a UHaul employee walking towards the truck.

Knowing that I had the key and he would probably need it I decided to bring the key to the UHaul employee. When I got to the truck the employee thrust his hand out with a finger snap without looking up from his phone.

- Our reservation was changed from an in person pick up to a 24/7 pick up without our consent. 2nd. - The truck needed an alignment & tires it couldn't be driven over 55 miles an hours without our teeth being shaken from our heads. 3rd.

- The entire truck was loaded with ANTS which, didn't become visible until we were driving. There was hundreds of them coming out the dash board & vents. When we arrived at our destination & started to unload the truck our furniture & boxes were also covered in ANTS !!

We were unable to bring anything in our new home until after everything was fumigated in the garage. After paying almost a $1000 for this rental this truck should have been road worthy. I feel that no one inspected or sprayed this truck before renting it out thus, making our move unsafe.

I have had nothing but the worst service with uhaul. I had a reservation scheduled a month in advance to pick up a truck only to be told the day before I have to drive to an entirely different location, an hour out of my way, just to pick it up.

When I tried calling them they left me on hold for 2 hours straight and never picked up and then hung up the phone! I tried calling again and the same thing happened. 4 hours later and I still can't get ahold of them.

This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. They do not take care of their customers.

Worst experience ever. I booked an appt in July for 8/1/21 at 7:00AM. I arrived at 6:30 for a mobile pickup cargo van. The system is not working so I wait for the store to open at 9:00AM. The rude Customer Service Agent calls my name and said we got nothing and don't ask me again for a vehicle. All sold out.

Lucky for me, Uhaul's competitor had availability and I signed up for their business account as well. I worked for Uhauls Corporate Office and with the click of a button they must do something with your reservation if the vehicle is not available.

Jim Hanson (if that is in fact his name) exhibited extremely unprofessional and petty behavior and started an argument with myself and my cousin. Me being on the phone and my cousin being there in person. He was rude and tried to pull a “power move” by not sending anyone over to remove the lock that was put on the unit, even though I made the payment and he was informed that it was made. This experience, along with the inconvenient “policies”, is enough for me to ensure that I won’t be using any services of U-Haul again. Nor will I be suggesting them to friends and family. In fact, I’ll actively encourage them to not.

I reserveda 20 ft truck on monday July 26th 2021. After spending over 2 hours on the phone trying to contact u haul. I went there in person and reserved a truck. I got multiple e mail confirming my reservation telling me I would get a call from u haul confirming my reservation.

I never did get the call. I finaly mangaed to contact U haul by phone. I was told I had a 20 foot truck reserved for me an the pick up location was changed from minneapolis minnesota to Redwood falls minnesota.

The personat bloomington minn U haul set my reservation for 30 days instead of 5 days and set it up as a day by day reservation instead of a consecutive reservation. The pick up location is over 115 miles from The city I asked to pick the truck up and it is not possible for me to get this truck and drive it…

Let me start off by saying, that I will never use UHAUL ever again. That was the worse experience I have ever had with uhaul and I have used them many times. The wait times were way too long. The customer service was the worst I have dealt with, any where with any company at any time.

There customer service representatives were rude, incompetent, loud, and you couldn’t under a word they were saying. I was sent on a wild goose chase to say the least. I had to rent a truck in Alabama and a transport in Mississippi.

UHAUL come on now, do better please!!!!

I spoke with customer service and made reservations to have 6 containers delivered to my house tomorrow, Friday July 23, 2021 and was told that I will get a call back to set up a time. m. the regional manager sad that she would have to cancel because she does not have a driver available for delivery.

She said she only has one driver to cover from South Loop Chicago the Minooka Illinois. I am very upset and disappointed at the customer service that I have received there was no Alternatives given to have the containers delivered to me.

Made an appointment to get a hitch installed. Drove 45 minutes to store. Kid clerk tells me appointment is not today but in 2 weeks. I show him email with today’s date and time. He says can’t install part not available.

I talk to manager- you have my email and phone number you could have called. Could not call, part not available. Sometimes you just have to shake your head.

Concept of the U-box is great.

However the services for scheduling and delivery of the U-box is a disaster waiting to happen. I had to us U-box because it was the only option I had after our builder last minute decided to delay closing on our new home.

On initial, the 10 U-boxes were delivered 4 hours late in the evening around 6pm. This resulted in my need to pay loaders who had arrived on schedule around 2pm but had no U-boxes to load into. Then I needed to pay additional emergency loaders that I found online that evening to make up the hours after the 1st crew left and they stayed from 9pm to 1am.

My husband and I stayed the rest of the night into the morning hours loading up the rest. It was a horrible experience! And now to get the U-boxes from storage has become another big hassle…

I rented U-Boxes scheduled for delivery today Thursday July 8. However when I called Uhaul to determine the time window, I was told that they forgot to schedule the delivery and therefore cannot deliver until Saturday. Problem is that we have no beds or personal items to use in the new construction home until Saturday. We are scheduled to leave the Airbnb tomorrow and will have no furniture. Plus we had scheduled for in loaders to unload the U-box tomorrow. We cannot cancel last minute and are unable to switch out on unloaders in such short notice. This is a disaster!!!

I had called multiple times to confirm the delivery date of July 8 (today). I even called 2 days ago and they still forgot to schedule it. This is gross negligence!!! The U-boxes contains all of our household items…

I am absolutely disgusted with Uhaul! We had serious issues during our move, I was told a supervisor would be calling...4 days later I a still waiting. I don’t give a dam if it was a holiday or not!

You people are RIDICULOUS!!! I reserved a 15 ft truck, ended up with a 10 ft and couldn’t move all of my belongings. I reserved a u haul in one city, and they contacted me ONLY 48 hrs in advance to say they only had a u haul an HOUR AWAY!!! I'm responsible for mileage for over a 100 miles simply because they claimed it wasn't anything closer. That's NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I'm driving from one state to another, so 48 hrs of notice is NOT SUFFICIENT!! I called the scheduling company to change the size of the truck if that would help. She said they didn't have any thing else! I asked to speak to a manager who REFUSED to get on the phone!!!

5 hours. The following day, we had to drive an extra 400 miles to get the new trailer and drive back to get our stuff. Uhaul said they were trying to book us a room, but couldn't because they couldn't purchase it with a credit card over the phone, which doesn't make any sense.

I went ahead and booked them myself because I was stranded sitting in my hot car with my dogs waiting to get confirmation about my hotel. She called back and said she couldn't book it over the phone with a credit card.

She promised if I booked it and saved the receipts I would be reimbursed for both nights, but I never was.

So much. I ordered a hitch to be installed at local uhaul a week in advance. I showed up at my install time and the staff was very rude. Two kids behind the desk. Told my kids there was no installer on site and that the online is wrong.

Did not refund the order. I was calling the store and was unable to get through. Got transferred to someone else. In which they ended up stating that they can’t do anything for me but send a message to the manager.

There is no manager at this tore. I never received a call back from the manager. So I had to get out of the pool in which I just got into it. In my bathing suit. That was the o my way I could speak to anyone.

My name is Dr. Timothy Jones. I have done considerable business with Uhaul over the years. I have had two disturbing incidents with your U-haul business at 314 E. 6th Street, Corona California. The first was the rental of a trailer.

I rented for one day and courteously returned it at 6am, 6 hours before the end of the rental. There was no one there to accept the return. I disconnected the trailer and left it in the exact spot I received it from.

I called customer service and waited 30 minutes. The representative spoke with the manager and confirmed they had received the return. Two days later my CC was charged for three days of rental. I took an hour out of my day to drive to the location and have the fees reversed. 00/hr.

On 6/6/21, we rented a 26 ft truck and tow trailer (Reservatuon # 27523492) to be picked up on the morning of 6/16/21 at AAA Self Storage, 1437 US Highway S. Ste A in Leesburg Ga and taken one-way to Boyton Beach FL (later changed to Kissimmee, FL).

I received a text on 6/15/2021 informing me the location for pick up had been changed from 1437 US Highway 19 S to 820 W. Oglethorpe Blvd, in Albany GA (5 miles fruther away from our house. As soon as I recieved the text, I called the new location to see why the original location had been changed.

Recent lies and mistreatment by a U-haul store owner in Cincinnati prompt me to send this letter. Attempts to reason with the gentleman, Mr. , resulted in him dismissing me from his store after I paid him in full for his invoice and what turned out to be faulty work.

As a disabled veteran who needs a hitch with wiring for a wheelchair lift, I discovered the wiring he installed did not power my lift. After I returned to his store the next day with an appointment, he told me he doesn’t have and never has had the piece to power my lift.

I chose his store in the first place because he told me he has installed wiring for “hundreds” of chair lifts. His lies and refusal to refund charges for undelivered services caused me to tell him I will relate this unpleasant experience to…

I informed UHaul that the truck’s power steering was not good. I traveled almost 1000 miles struggling to stay in my lane. It was pulling from the right side and made it really difficult for me to maneuver it with a truck load of furniture!! I would have lost control of the truck if I would have hit a pothole or something. I Also told them the truck WAS NOT sanitized! With COVID still around, sanitizing it should have been a PRIORITY!! Buyers Beware: I order a ubox approximately 3 weeks prior to needing it. The date needed for the box was June 10th. The box was never delivered and I spoke with the Brandon the manager at the Uhaul located 2902 Hershberger Rd NW, Roanoke, VA 24017. Brandon didn't know why it wasn't delivered. The location to the box was changed and he advised it would be delivered to the new site June 14th.

I organized 10 volunteers and two loaded vehicles. We waited 5 hours at the drop site and it never showed up.

I called multiple sites and was able to speak with someone not at the Hershberger site to confirm it would be dropped on June 15th. I waited at the site again on June 15th and it never showed.

I On Friday June 11, 2021 I reserved a U-Haul 15 ft truck . The location was 4221 Pleasant Valley rd unit 106, Virginia Beach, pick up at 12 noon on Sunday the 13th. My reservation # was 96885966. My wife and I arrived at 11:30 am for pickup.

The young lady helping us had all our information in the system for a one way trip home to Richmond, Va. I was moving my 2 son's out of their apartment which they had to be out of that day at Old Dominion university.

I have used uhaul many times for moving and something told me this time that I should pay extra for the insurance ( which I did ) . Half way thru my trip the bearings went out in the trailer I was renting at 5:00 rush hour in downtown Nashville ..

I had to pull over on hwy 40 which is under construction .. when I called uhaul for assistance it took nearly a whole day for a response to how the issue would be resolved .. I am traveling with someone who is diabetic and we got our own hotel and were able to secure a place for my cat overnight ..

I showed up Friday morning at 7 for a hitch installation and trailer pickup we booked a week in advance. I told him we were moving the next day, and he eventually called the U-haul in Meridian and confirmed they had the hitch parts.

He told me if I drove up there they'd do it for me, and then I could come back for my trailer. I went up, dropped off my car and picked it up a few hours later. When I arrived back at the New Haven store, the guys went to grab the trailer, but told me there was no wiring installed with the hitch (our original invoice was for a hitch, wiring, and labor). what?

I went to buy tv box at uhall in Somerville. The employee gave me two box and ask how I was going to pay cash or credit but credit is better. I told him I have cash since he prefers credit, I gave him my card he start to put my card into a phone then he asked me for my zip code .

I start to feel uncomfortable given my zipcode I asked him if he can do my transaction in the register instead. He gave me My credit card back and refuse to let me pay. I called customer service who try to gave call him but was unsuccessful.

I told him I have a customer service on the phone he told me he did not care. I end up calling Somerville police who was able to help me complete the sale. He had a coworker name Lopez who told me to take my business someone else If I don't trust them.

I had the worst experience with your Cochrane location. I have contacted numerous purple through your company to deal with the complications that happened during my move. I am extremely angry. The truck was not checked over when we went to pick it up the man that runs the uhaul there was not helpful.

The right side mirror fell off as we were in parry sound. I had to drive that truck with my daughters in it. Terrified because no one was helping us through your company when we called. It was dangerous and awful.

I am looking for complete rental refund of the $800+ it cost to rent it as well as the half the gas expenses spent from parry sound to Hamilton. I can not believe the horrible and dangerous state the truck was in and the lack of help from uhaul upon contacting them with these…

I had a 9am on 3/20/21 I had an appointment which I was on time for. There were people waiting when I arrived. I didn't mind the wait but the person told us that one of us would have to leave because store policy said only one person could wait in line for the rental.

He also told us we had to wear a mask. When it was my turn to be waited on he said I had to keep my mask over my nose and mouth. I pointed out to him that his employees were not putting on their mask when they came inside the store so why did I have to.

He said he had a right to refuse me service if I did not comply to his store s demands. I would like to point to the fact that there is no sign anywhere in your store stating this.

I made a reservation a week ago for a 5x8 trailer, two days before I am to pick it up I am told there is not one available within 50 miles of Seattle. There is one in Bremerton (which they claim is less than 50 miles away..... it is an hour and 22 minutes away (67.5 miles) or an expensive ferry ride (trailer's cost more than double the normal fare)..... Why is it that UHaul continues to take reservations for equipment they do not even have available. As a consolation, I am told I can order a UBOX for $1085.00!!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!

My house has sold and I have to get the remaining stuff out of the house this weekend and now I have no way of getting it out. I live 200 miles from the home (I am moving out of) and a trailer is all I needed. I am told I can rent a 10' truck for $285;…

Today, 8/13 at 11:15 I attempted to purchase propane. I stopped at the propane service station and rang the bell. As there was a storm brewing, I went inside to see if it was possible to buy propane before the storm.

There was one customer ahead of me and the young Lady said, no problem I will be right with you. After, 20 minutes, at 11:35 another employee arrived and said, are you waiting for propane? I am sorry there is thunder and we cannot help you.

There was a storm 20 or so miles away This was not the first Time I was turned away: others, we are too busy, I am by myself, and we don’t start selling propane until X time. Please, either get in the propane business, or get out.

I recently rented a small box truck on 7/11/20 at the u-haul moving & storage of Warwick, RI, 279 Oakland Beach Ave. Warwick, RI. I had parked the truck near my truck to take out a few things and i noticed a man in a customers van and he was waiting for me to move but
