Hi ,

I want to file a formal complaint against the Uhaul Milton traffic manager and his manager. I made a reservation on March 21, 2021 to reserve Uhaul 20ft from Milton to Kitchener and leave it in Kitchener and porters for May 28th 2021. and my reservation was confirmed more than 1 time and Uhaul took around $400 from my credit card to confirm the reservation. I receive missed call after business hours on May 26th, I tried to call back but there was no availability that someone answer after business hours. I called today May 27th. I called uhaul in Crescent City to rent a car transport from U-haul Neighborhood at 1065 McNamara Road Wednesday May 27, 2021. I was talking to the manager I told him what I wanted he told me that he didn't think I was really going to haul that car.

I told him that I was going to haul that car that I had hauled it before. I said 'why would I lie about what car I needed to haul'. Then a friend talking on his phone walked passed me this manager hears the conversation (I wasn't listening to it) but I guessed the other conversations had some cursing this manager said 'I will not be cursed at' I said what are you talking about?

my storage room has been locked down by uhaul since the second day i moved in on 10 may, 2021. One unknown lock appeared on my door, which made me unable to reach my private property inside. I called UHAUL three times, no any response, i want physical address of UHAUL to refund, they did not give it to me, in addition, my private stuff put outside of the storage room has already gone when i last time check my private property inside.

UHAUL's behavior heavily has violated internal storage trade law and world private property access law.

I reserved a truck from uhaul pick up at AAA self storage in Leesburg, Ga when I arrived to pick up my truck. The sales associate asked me if I had prof of residency which I did not because I just moved here from Michigan I called my fiancé and had her send me a screen shot of our cable.

When he seen her name oh yup Jessica Hoover I’m not renting to you Robert Hoover owes me money I was cussed at and thrown out the store. I feel like I was discriminated against because someone else owed uhaul money.

I went to buy tv box at uhall in Somerville. The employee gave me two box and ask how I was going to pay cash or credit but credit is better. I told him I have cash since he prefers credit, I gave him my card he start to put my card into a phone then he asked me for my zip code .

I start to feel uncomfortable given my zipcode I asked him if he can do my transaction in the register instead. He gave me My credit card back and refuse to let me pay. I called customer service who try to gave call him but was unsuccessful.

I told him I have a customer service on the phone he told me he did not care. I end up calling Somerville police who was able to help me complete the sale. He had a coworker name Lopez who told me to take my business someone else If I don't trust them.

I had the worst experience with your Cochrane location. I have contacted numerous purple through your company to deal with the complications that happened during my move. I am extremely angry. The truck was not checked over when we went to pick it up the man that runs the uhaul there was not helpful.

The right side mirror fell off as we were in parry sound. I had to drive that truck with my daughters in it. Terrified because no one was helping us through your company when we called. It was dangerous and awful.

I had a 9am on 3/20/21 I had an appointment which I was on time for. There were people waiting when I arrived. I didn't mind the wait but the person told us that one of us would have to leave because store policy said only one person could wait in line for the rental.

He also told us we had to wear a mask. When it was my turn to be waited on he said I had to keep my mask over my nose and mouth. I pointed out to him that his employees were not putting on their mask when they came inside the store so why did I have to.

He said he had a right to refuse me service if I did not comply to his store s demands. I would like to point to the fact that there is no sign anywhere in your store stating this.

I made a reservation a week ago for a 5x8 trailer, two days before I am to pick it up I am told there is not one available within 50 miles of Seattle. There is one in Bremerton (which they claim is less than 50 miles away..... it is an hour and 22 minutes away (67.5 miles) or an expensive ferry ride (trailer's cost more than double the normal fare)..... Why is it that UHaul continues to take reservations for equipment they do not even have available. As a consolation, I am told I can order a UBOX for $1085.00!!!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!

Today, 8/13 at 11:15 I attempted to purchase propane. I stopped at the propane service station and rang the bell. As there was a storm brewing, I went inside to see if it was possible to buy propane before the storm.

There was one customer ahead of me and the young Lady said, no problem I will be right with you. After, 20 minutes, at 11:35 another employee arrived and said, are you waiting for propane? I am sorry there is thunder and we cannot help you.

There was a storm 20 or so miles away This was not the first Time I was turned away: others, we are too busy, I am by myself, and we don’t start selling propane until X time. Please, either get in the propane business, or get out.

I called your local Port St Lucie U-Haul center on Bayshore drive 2 weeks ago to rent / reserve a motorcycle trailer. I called today to confirm my trailer will be available for pick up on 3-12-2020 and was told they lost my reservation. Then they told me after giving them my CONFIRMATION NUMBER 86712299 that they didn't have a motorcycle trailer but a 4' X 7' open trailer with no ramp.

Gee thanks U-Haul I will never use a U-Haul facility again. This is not the first time this has happened over the years with you people. Get your act together pretty poor management!!!

Yesterday, Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 4:45 pm, I phoned U-Haul of Landa Park in New Braunfels, Texas, asking if they had the boxes I needed for my upcoming move. I specifically asked about the laydown wardrobe boxes, as they were the size that other U-Haul facilities I had inquired of did not have on hand. I was told that five laydown wardrobe boxes were available.

I then went on-line where it was shown that six laydown wardrobe boxes were available at the Landa Park location. I then placed an order for moving boxes (paid by Discover, and scheduled for in-store pick up at 3:00 on Sunday, February 16) with U-Haul of Landa Park in New Braunfels, Texas:

25 small moving boxes; 10 extra-large moving boxes; 6 laydown wardrobe boxes; 2 dishsaver glass pack boxes, and 10 file boxes.

On April 2nd 2019 an employee Courtney Whitehead in truth or consequences New Mexico fraudulently rented AU haul under my name without valid identification for a signature. Do U haul was later reported stolen of having stolen property inside and it was impounded by police.

My ex fiancé Adam Cole picked up and paid for the equipment. Courtney Whitehead put my son and myself in danger knowing that my ex had recently been arrested for burglary. Courtney had previously rented a U haul to Adam Cole in early March without charging him the extra days he kept the U haul.

Hello,

I have a storage cell at Uhaul Ayer at 79 Fitchburg Rd Rte 2A, Ayer, 01432, MA, B077 for a few yrs then I had to leave US due to a hardship but hoping to come back soon. I was a foreign worker. I kept making payments to them until I realized I wouldn't be able to come back to US. Then I called them up and notified that I was going to abandon the storage. After a couple of months of negotiations we agreed that the stuff would be sold off at a public auction and I filed multiple forms for that.. The last notice I received from them was this and I haven't received anything else till today. Then today I am receiving another message saying I have to pay them $700 since the service is still on. There was a period of silence of about 4 months before that.

I went to rent a 10 foot truck from 34 west Broadway Gardner ma 01440. I think the person who has the franchise misrepresents UHAUL. He told me I could not rent a 10 foot truck on a two way rental. He said I would have to rent a 15 foot truck. The 10 foot truck were for one way rental only. I wanted to rent a truck for 24 hours. Pick up one day at 4pm bring back the next day at 4pm. 99, 2 days and was charged $168 to my debit card. $11 was for gas and I was discounted for the dolly because after waiting for a long time, there was not one available that I needed. I have used this place 3 times in my 12 years and this is the first very bad encounter.

On Thursday, October 10,2019, I rented a tow dolly. The general mgr assisted me. I am a 72 yo woman and had no one to assist me. I called the Uhaul location the day prior to ensure they would assist with securing the tow straps.

I stopped in Knoxville TN for the night. The next morning, I saw that the tow straps over the passenger side had come completely off. Once I drive the car into the tow dolly, the General mgr placed the tow straps on the wheels.

The GM requested that I leave the transmission in neutral. I called the UHAUL assistance phone number and within an hour, a contractor showed up to assist me with the proper securing of my car. On 9/10/2019 I got to the location on 8746 W Bell Road in Peoria, AZ approximately 6:30am. I realized they did not ope until 7:00am. I rented a pick up truck at the SF Bay shore store I had reserved it online and when I get the key they had ready the wrong truck they had a box truck and I ordered a pick up truck. So they had me wait and they brought me a new invoice and when they bring the truck I jump in and before I get ready to leave they stop me and

tell me the truck had a tale light missing and changed the truck but I got no new invoice on this truck. I used it locally and they charged me 600 for miles I did not use and damages I didn't make.

Worst experience of my life. , Store # 744080. requested time to talk with him about poor customer service on one his reps. When he entered the store he indicated in effect to make it quick because he had other matters he was dealing with.

When I attempted to relate the subject of the complaint. He was condensending, and told me I needed to leave the store. In effect I was not given the opportunity to explain the complaint. I was totally in shock but departed to level this complaint online.

How this Pena jerk is even a manager is beyond comprehension. My hope is that someone in the corporate office reads this and follows this up with me. if you can avoid this business and its location I would seriously suggest it.

You have a U Haul franchise operating in Dauphin, Manitoba Canada. If you bring up their website it will show they have all the trimmings including U-Box containers, Storage, Boxes & Packing supplies, etc. I am a resident of Dauphin and will relocate the end of August to a community about 100 miles south of here.

When I went to this franchise yesterday to arrange for truck rental and a myriad of supplies needed for my move, I was told they only rent trucks and trailers. They have absolutely no boxes or packing supplies whatsoever. I find this unbelievable, as in my years of experience with U Haul I've never come across this ludicrous situation.

I spoke to a Debra trying to understand why would I have a balance from a month ago. I paid the remaining amount in cash. I reserved a truck for 7/17/19 received an email on 7/16/19 about my last rental in June.

This is my first notice of this information. Debra in credit and collection. She was rude, arrogant an interiority me every time I spoke. I asked for a supervisor she said no and hung up. I have always used uhaul, I have never received this kind of awful service.

ZERO STARS!!!! What is the point in making a reservation, giving a credit card only to find that the item is not available locally, when it was. This the second time someone else has "taken the trailor" I reserved. Your reservations are a F******G sham.

Local dealers can't even tell me who else has what in inventory. Without availability the trip is cancelled. The lady that called to tell me it was no longer available must have to say that a lot, she had a very dour demeanor.

It is simpler to drive around and see what is on the lots than trust your 'reservation system'.

26' truck & car transport trailer.

Truck had totally worn out shocks, I had major damage to my furnishings, trailer had a tail light out & 4 bald tires & 1 tire with missing tread. I had a appointment for hitch installment at depere wi location in late may. I drove 45 miles to that location only to find out they had no installer there that morning and the manager did not contact me to call off that day.

Then the guy behind the counter said he would be in two hors latter and if I came back in the afternoon they would get it installed. I went back and they said they still had no one to install it.

I am a singIle senior lady 70 years old who rented a U haul trailer to tow a Harley trike motorcycle from Houston TX to California Maryland. I stopped in Valdosta GA to visit some friends on the way. When I was ready to leave the next morning, I had to drive around a circle to get back out to the road.

I heard a thump thump thump. I drove back to my friend and he looked at the tire and it had about a foot long rip in the tread. He said it was criminal that they would rent me a trailer with that kind of tire on it.

I want to file a complaint on the U-Haul store located at: 8833 Dyer St. El Paso, TX. 79904. I initially reserved a truck for a two day and the person that attended was friendly, however he just took some information and reserved the truck for me, there weren't any detail explanations.

On the day of the rental on 1 June 2019. I mentioned to Mr. Ortiz the store manager that I only need it for one day instead of two, he then told me if I could have it back before 7:00 am, and I said yes because I was going to be done that evening.

First, let me say that the service from Edmundston was real good - tjhat is why I rated my experience with them 5 stars. My complaint is the service in Grand Falls. I live in Grand Falls, I tried to contact them many days in advance to rent a UHaul truck, I left messages but without success.

It is a very stressful situation when you have so much to plan for a special date and you have to wait the morning you move to realize that the nearest place to rent a uhaul is in Edmundston without even knowing if we could rent one. Time is of value the day you move but I had to go to Edmundston and had to do 125 kilometers extra with the UHaul and 125 km with my car also.

I did make a complaint when I received the invoice but did not receive any answer. 00$. We think this is the least we could ask.…

I just spoke to a clerk that was so rushed I hardly had time to ask questions. It was so awful here I am immediately after! I don't want any people getting someone like him. Moving is very stressful and I wouldn't wish him on anybody.

Three times I tried to pay for a hitch and installation on your web site. Three times it failed. WHY? How would I know! So I call the phone number. 10 minutes of pushing bloody buttons, listening to Spanish and horrible music and some female voice telling me things about which I do not care I finally get a human being.

Rented truck, dolly & appliance hand truck. All returned with a witness. uHaul employee inspected truck, took mileage & I insisted open back & see that dolly and appliance hand truck were there. All in good condition. He even handed me my bungee cord which was securing appliance hand truck.

Then quite a number of days later, I get a collections bill for about $350! I try to resolve amicably and am told will be taken care of, and after I am assured it is, still get another collections bill.

I want formal disciplinary action. A formal letter on corporate letter head that nothing is owed. I want a courtesy credit for all the time & effort I put into this still unresolved matter.

This is just outrages. We ordered 3 uboxes from a location at South Cobb Drive and 75 in Atlanta GA. When we arrived, only one ubox was available and we were promised the other two will be available latter in the day.

When we brought our ubox back fully loaded, there was no new ubox for us to take home. We wasted an entire day off for a move day and only loaded one ubox. Not only that, but my first ubox was left on a parking lot in from of the store instead of being taken to a storage room that I am paying for.

I called customer service several times and nothing was done about my situation. I tried to get an increased insurance on my box and they weren't able to do that either. We drove by the location at 9:30 pm and our box was there with 4 people just hanging out at the lot.

This is the second time U-Haul has moved my reservation. Not only am I going to get charged extra for mileage (that I wouldn't be using had the original reservation been kept by U-Haul), but the "new" location doesn't open until two hours after the original location.

This is going to put me in a bind as I must be done Saturday. Now, I'm going to be two hours behind. I'm going to see if they (the new location) will knock off the "extra" miles I'm going to be using since I have to drive the 26' truck further now. This is very upsetting.

Getting charged more for U-Haul not keeping the reservation. Let me cancel 22 hours prior to the scheduled date and see what happens. The least U-Haul could do would be to have the 26' truck delivered to the original location! ) do that!

I have never dealt with a company that will not call me back. I have been waiting two days for a return call from the GM Brian at the Hyannis office. My contract # is 29695848. They have my two pods that was promised to be delivered from Florida to Edgartown MA.

My pods are now in the warehouse in Hyannis MA. We signed a contract with an agreed price and were never told in advance that there was going to be an issue to be delivered as promised. I spoke to corporate yesterday and was told that they were going to honor our price and deliver the pods.

Ben from corporate transferred me to the scheduling manager and the scheduling manager told me that I had to speak to Brian the GM. She left an urgent message for him to return my call. That was yesterday at 4:00.

00 A few months ago the driver side mirror got broken. Since that time I have been to all the dealers in Newark, and Wilmington Delaware asking if I can buy a replacement mirror. All of the rental dealers wouldn't help me.

When I asked where they get their parts if they need them I was told it's none of my business . I even call the corporate office and they were very rude and said they couldn't help . Called fleet maintenance, no help called 10800 go uhaul was hanged up on 3xs After spending that amount of money, it seems uhaul got the money and ran I will never buy another part from uhaul again.

Earlier today, I spoke with a "day phone manager" (after having spent over 2 hours with a night person) concerning a denial of a trailer rental. It appears my account has been flagged with an "E" code, not because of anything that I have done wrong, but because someone whom I once associated with has a bad history with U-haul.

I was told by the manager that a friend who put me down as a contact, has been associated with my account. I asked that the person's name and association be removed. However, I was informed that I would need to have the person pay up the U-haul account prior to any reinstatement of rental priveleges and the "E" being removed from my account. Rented a U-Haul trailer on March 29 2019 to move possessions from Lake Worth Florida to Pardeeville Wisconsin. 25 minutes into our journey the right side tire on the trailer blew out almost causing the driver to lose control. Called U-Haul roadside assistance and 3 hours later someone finally came to change the tire.

when we finally reached our destination and started to unload the trailer everything was wet from an apparent leak. when we returned the trailer to U-Haul we informed them of the problems we had with their product. We were told that someone would contact us but so far have not heard from anyone.

On 2/15/19 I reserved a U-Haul truck at Garner, NC an upsize from a one room apartment for 7 pm evening pick up. When I went to pick up the truck I was charged an additional fee. I have a debit card (I realize debit cards are the equivalent of cash) and a $100 deposit must be obtained.

In addition to the deposit that was agreed on the telephone another $100 was applied. The attendant, named Carlos was rude and did not offer me any consolation or explanation as to why the additional fee was being applied. I had to move from the residence to the other so I agreed.

We paid for a trailer hitch obtained through Uhaul and they assured us they could install the hitch they do them all the time. Yet they installed us so its not usable since they blocked off the hole for the locking pin and also we are not sure what else they may have damaged yet. We will never ever go to Uhaul again
