It is very difficult to cancel any contract with Vodacom. Cancellations department takes your details but never cancels. They too quick to collect monies owing for a data contract which i stopped using few years ago. Went in store in June to cancel and told it is now cancelled and zero balance owing, however, recoveries department now calling me after 3 months for an amount of R331. Very incompetent cancellation department.

its like they force you to stay on and continue paying. To sign you up they very convincing, but to cancel a subscription they make you suffer. Will never use Vodacom services again!!! Rather use Mtn.

I have been trying to cancel my vodacom contract 0829215909, for over 2 months. Unfortunately I lost my reference, the first time. When I called again , I spoke to Mohamad. He said he couldn't find any trace of my previous ref, and said I was most properly given a bogus nr, that why he couldn't find it.

Can't believe a company like vodacom can let something like that happen. My current reference 1-358969095509. I then received an email saying that nr was put on a pay as you go. I requested for contract to be cancelled. I have wasted a lot of time and data phoning to get this contract cancelled, surely it can't be that difficult, or are the staff not trained in how to cancel a contract.

I received a call from one of agent and informed about easy2own promotion.And was refered to Greenacres branch.What a shame and stinking service I received.Vodacom is a circus no in store staff member knows about mantion product you sell.Some of them said is for black mail customers ,I left store very disappointed with out been served.I travelled 35km to Greenacres dont ever sent masages,contact number is 0712896237 ref no 68733240

The Package that I agreed on with my upgrade via the Retentions Department is not being adhered to. It took me 3 weeks to finalise my upgrade in August and I thought that my woes with Vodacom were over. Now I am back at a point were not all my data and airtime IS LOADED....I have to phone Vodacom hold for an hour and be promised that this will be rectified, I phone on the 04th of October at 13h21 and today at 12h17 and to date none of my issues have been sorted out.

I don't want this contract anymore. I don't want to be affiliated to Vodacom anymore. What do I have to do cut my ties with Vodacom.

My wife died on 2nd August and when I tried to cancel her phione which was on my contract I was told that this was only possible if I paid a cancellation fee which was nearly the same amount as paying for the balance of the contract which ends in January2023. While I understand the legal position I find it very callous and uncaring to insist that the fee be paid on behalf of a person who can no longer use the service.

The principle that a service which cannot be used is charged for is clearly unfairand I request that the contract be cancelld without a fee. This is a matter of principle ,the money is not important to me and I will gladly pay the equivalent of the fee to Hospice should Telkom cancel the contract without any charges.

Filled a complaints to Vodacom about faulty voda fibre coverage...it is now the 5th day without any response from Vodacom despite my many attempts to resolve the matter from me...I constantly told they are still trying to find a technician to resolve the issues. Struggling 8 mnths to rectify my contract after call centre messed up. Now vodacom removed all my minutes and its a business line. That was after many many calls. Im cancelling all my lines instead of upgrading. They always say someone will call you . It doesnt happen.

My vodacom sim card has been sim swopped on 23 September without my knowledge. On the 24 September someone bought goods at Makro online, im not sure how got hold of my makro online details. I have attached a signed Affidavit to say i have no knowledge of any of these transactions.

I went to Vodacom shop and told them what happened. They said they are unable to give me a report on a fraudulent sim swop of my vodacom number. Makro says they can't write of the fraudulant transactions which i did not make.

They only deal by phone through outsourced companies. No Vodacom managers available. Their staff "Narisha" did not cancel an account but confirmed it with a reference number on 1st July. Now they pestering my wife with numerous calls daily and canceled her valid account while fully paid.

Every day for 4 months my Wife is trying to solve this but with no progress. All proof of every call, petsons, times, dates reference numbers. Sickening Acc involved is 082 701 3438 I hate Vodacom with passion.

I've been calling vodacom for contract cancelation. but this month I have to pay the same amount because she lied to me . She did not cancel it yet I explained very well why I needed the contract canceled. I called lodged a complain but even today no one came back to me.

I am not going to pay the amount please find her so that she will pay it herself . I am really disappointed on vodacom workers.

Hi All,

I called Vodacom on the 09/09/2020 to get an additional line wifi for R699 unlimited work from home.

I was advised it will take up to 7 days. Wifi was delivered on the 14/09/2022.

17/09/2022 an amount of R752.73 was taken from my bank. I understand prorate gets calculated and the amount gets to be added on your next bill.

If there are admin fees that were going to be added, I stand to be corrected added on the following month.

I did not want to complicate things and have my credit score messed up by reversing this amount so I decided to call them.

Firs and send agent I did not get any joy. All they wanted to tell me is what they know and not what is happening on my account.

I spoke to alovely agent Julia in a Johannesburg branch post paid, she saw that I was not billed…

I have 3 vodacom accounts and not able to use either due to poor reception at my home office. Vodacom previously comitted to installing a booster for us that would apparrently assist us but since December 2021 have called numerous time with no progress on this installation.

Vodacom now changes their stance and says they have to install a new tower and connot give any idea of a timeframe. Our business is affected emencely due to poor communications on our mobikes.

On the 4th September 2022 i requested my device to be unblack listed after i had accidentally reported it missing. I was then requested to send the completed form which was emailed to me together with the copy of me ID. I sent those on Monday the 5th at 09h16. Tuesday i sent an email to Vodacom customer care with no response to date. Wednesday i phone the customer care and met a very rude and self centered lady, whom in her entire life has not done any mistake the way she spoke to me.

Today is the third week and i am told they didn't receive the documents i sent 3 weeks ago. I am without communication for the entire 3 weeks. i have lost confidence in VODACOM- NO VALUE FOR MONEY

Iam highly disappointed on service I received this morning at vodacom data store in Tygervaley.

On arrival I asked can they do Sim swop on my contract Sim reply whas yes from a lady behind the counter.

The I asked the cost reply was R20 they need proof of identification and Sim number ,which I said ok can we go ahead on completing everything then I whas told its R63 the cost .

Then I said you just told me earlier on its R20 ,no awnser from anyone even the store manager I think he is , no one replied not even apologie ,I asked why no awnser from anyone, is this the service iam getting is highly disappointed. Still no response.

And I will take my service some else I have been client for many years and never received such horrible service.

Like minds did upgrades on our numbers, but they gave us the wrong information saying it would be much cheaper but it ended up being more than 10k extra over all our vodacom contracts,

Hi, I am utterly fed up with the extreme unprofessional manner in which Vodacom have been handling the current situation regarding the issue that I owe them over R8000.00. I have received NO emails regarding this matter. I have gone into a Vodacopm branch to investigate this matter, but they have no record. I get almost daily calls from a company handling issues of outstanding money, they dont have all their facts, they cant tell me if I even had such a number that Vodacom have got them to query, and they hang up when I start asking question.

This company MBD, is calling me with no info and frankly I am sick and tired of receiving calls, claiming I owe Vodacom money, please sort this matter out asap.

Vodacom phone me for a covid relief of 6 mounts. Now they add 12 months to every contract that I have. Some even more. 1 of my contracts is until 2026. How is that possible? Vodacom is mabey a South African government owned company, because they is just as big criminals.

I have been trying to get my account cleared for at least 5 years now. First Vodacom takes out an account with out my knowledge, which took me ages to resolve. Only this year (2022) do I finally resolve the fraudulent account they opened in my name without my knowledge. The legal department functions with impunity, refusing to assist me. I have been thrown from one post to the next.

I am sick to my stomach with the service I have received and the condescending and dismissive attitude from the legal department.

I called Vodacom 4 times, today I have been put on hold it's now 49 minutes, no one is talking to me, What I have realized is that Vodacom don't want to cancel my contract of red premium, they told me that my information is not appearing on the system system however I am paying every month and I am getting data and unlimited calls as per contract. 63 every month .

I hate Vodacom and I will definitely not upgrade the remaining contract I have with them because of thus poor service they are giving. I am not helped, I need a manager to help me, I don't want any unlimited calls and data anymore, I am done with Vodacom.

I have send several communication to your office and lodge telephonically calls unfortunately I dont receieve any feedback. Some years back i was sold a device on contract telephonically, The sales person advised me that on delivery Immust activate the devise, he then gave me the number to call for activation, that number could not be answered.

I insured one of the cellphones with them and now they are refusing my claim because my Sim card was not in the insured phone - who uses 3 cellphones at once and why do they dictate to me which phone I must use my simcard!!!

I have trying since March 2022 to get an item remobed from account as it was partof a promotion when I upgraded my main number and recieved a free data sim which I intially did not want. I was under the impression the promotional data will be added to my main contracted sim.

2 years later i start getting billed for this promotional sim and queried this with vodacom stating I was never informed and also never asked for it why must I pay for it and I want removed. Vodacom then said they were gna reimburse me and remove the sim.

They reimbursed me but never removed the sim and billed me again the following month. I phoned in again in July 2022 and wanted to cancel the sim. I was then put through to the retentions department and some idiot sold me a story stating I am some kind of premier…

Have a contract for almost 2 years with Vodacom. I sent my device for repairs twice and came back broken NOT FIXED. I really thought they were the best service providers and I see I made a huge mistake. I honestly won't recommend you to anyone. Your service is pathetic.

Vodacom gave me a covid relief not that I asked they offered and it is around 3 months back. I asked them why is it called covid relief if covid was 2 years back but said I am such a good client.

So I accepted as they told me I dont have any catch. The catch was my contract is extended for 4 month. My discount is not even that much for 3 months now I cannot cancel my contract. As I do not want to be with Vodacom anymore as they offered me a upgrade deal and now cant give it anymore. Scammers

Good day,

Since April I have been logging calls to advise that I was charged thrice for my vodacom insurance and requested that it be removed.

Nothing was done I kept on getting calls that my account is in areas which it was not it was the insurance that double invoice.

Today I get a sms that my insurance is cancelled when I never cancelled my insurance what I ask is that the money that is advised for insurance I owe is incorrect and it was verified. The only thing that was supposed to happen is that over bill was supposed to be removed. We in September and this is still a query. I would like my insurance re-instated as I never cancelled.

I drove from Meadowhurst to Nicholway Vodacom 06/09/2022 to take the item back and I was given a ref no 1-35826941046914 and told they would contact me.

I then received a SMS to say they had a query and then on 07/09/22 I received a message the query is resolved, but no one contacted me. I then received on the 7th, a quote with a 14 day expiry, activation and invoice…

Use this app if you enjoy being robbed.

Pay for a voucher, never receive it and don’t get refunded. It’s so annoying that in todays economy these company’s can still get away with daylight robbery and then it’s the consumer that must follow up and fight for resolution.

Vodapay is ashes, it’s not their problem, right? It’s not like it’s their money that was taken. In fact, how do we apply to blacklist a conmpany for non payment?

Consumers really are powerless in this country.

Other consumers may also think, at least it hasn’t happened to them…. Until it does. Be warned.

I Onicca Mophuting (ID 6303290722083) have cancelled the contract plus minus 3 years ago but every month money have been debited from my account.

On the 10/02/2022 I spoke to Devin for cancellation but to my surprise the contract was increased from R69. 99 to R177. 00.

On the 07/03/2022 I spoke to Cambry and the 14/03/2022 I spoke to Mahomad but it was all in vain.

On the 28/06/2022 I went to Vodacom head office and spoke to Nthabiseng. I was given reference…

We took a Apple watch out on contract with vodacom at Sitari number of shop 076 633 2708 ladys name Wendy & Dennaline.

I am very frustrated because we have screens shots to proof that our monthly instalment was suppose R273 and then after we got the watch we recieve a imvoice of R7000 then told both Wendy and Demmaline they need to fix the issue they told us it is sorted out BUT TODAY R2000 WENT OFF AND IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE R1000 way does vodacom stores always does this

Shocking Service and Incompetent Staff. Trying to fix an error made by Vodacom in July. Spent an hour on the line yesterday (25/08/2022) and 50min today (26/08/2022). I get transferred from one department to the next. Still no joy.

Finally spoke to a Tiffany yesterday. She said she would refer the matter to a manager (who wasn't in at the time) and contact me via sms and call the next day. Needless to say, no call or sms received). I called back today. Same as yesterday.

Transferred from one department to the next. Each department insists on verifying my information. Very frustrating.

Finally got to speak to a manager, Sherwyn Isaacs. He insisted on transfering me to the upgrades department but cut the call. I called back but couldn't get him on the line. Apparently the 1945 number gets…

I would like to complain about your R 1100 penalty fee for migration. To use my phone overseas I am forced to go to a pre-paid Red flexi contract.As I can only afford R 350 a month and you have no Red Flexi for this amount I am forced to pay R 410 to avoid the penalty which I cannot avoid. Frankly I am disgusted by this fleecing of customers and that none of your staff warn you about the consequences of downgrading.

I upgrade during end May 2022 beginning June 2022 on line I must say it was very quick nothing was really explained to me what I can remember is that I ask her will it now be cheaper and the answer was yes - only to discover I now have to pay more every month - I phoned in end of June 2022 the person was totally incompetent she Cleary did not have a clue what was going on she could not read the system could not give answers she kept me on the line for and
