I took out a new contract at vodacom Fourways Mall with Botshelo, on 23 April 2022. I asked for a Samsung A53 in black, accompanied by the White samsung classic watch, as advertised in your promotional booklet. We waited 2 hours as this consultant incorrectly captured my information.

As we were about to leave, he then gave me a blue phone and told me that in fact my watch was out of stock. He took my contact info and said that I can collect my watch on Wednesday 27 April.

By 29 April, I went to the store as he never phoned me back regarding my watch, as he said he would. He then told me that he only had a white galaxy 4 (not classic) available. To Whom it may concern: I am experiencing the worst service of Vodacom in about 30 years! I am trying to upgrade my phone with a new phone for about a week and a half now! I asked the lady in upgrades if there is a Xiaomi phone with 2 sim slots, she said yes it is the Redmi note 10 5g.

I did order it, when it arrived, there was only 1 sim slot. I phoned and told them it is wrong, they said it will be picked up! I phoned 3 times before it was picked up. Then I phoned again and apply for another phone Samsung A33 which was supposed to be delivered Friday.

I cancelt a Wifi contract end Jan 2022 with Vodacom. I spoke to a agent. She said you pay R20 and tehen the number stays yours and I asked her is it a once off payment and she confirmed it. 3-4 times during call.

They only have records of a call on 6 March. Then they changed my contract again from prepaid??? To 10 gigs. Without informing me. What a surprise yhis month getting a debit order for R328++. I want this to stop. Cancelled. Which apparently is now.

We got a great deal on a 2 year vodacom data contract on black Friday. Everything was fine until we started seeing additional charges for "Entertainment services" and purchased content. The simcard is in a router and can't be used to make calls etc...

I logged into the online app, no subscriptions listed on that number. I phoned vodacom- got the stupid bot that is useless. I phoned the "Account enquiries: 082 173" provided on my invoice (which is less than 2 weeks old)- number is no longer in service.

I've even tried taking the simcard out of the router and using the *135# options provided to "cancel subscriptions". I also emailed vodacom customer service TWICE. No response in over 2 weeks. Checked my bill online now, it has increased again due to "Entertainment subscriptions".

Vodacom did a fraudulent upgrade on the contract I have with them and since i have lodged a service call with their forensics and investigation department i have not received any assistance instead I'm being sent from pillar to post with no accurate answers , this is a serious frustration because my identity and livelihood is impacted negatively.

On the 20th April I bought a 1G daily 7days allocation which was received on the 20th, 21st had to call Vodacom to have it loaded and that ws to no sucess until I lodged a complaint on a public platform because of the incompetent staff who transferred my call to a non working line at that time. I have not been credited with my data that i paid for.

I do not have tme to be calling daily for a service I had paid for.

the past month. Customer care refers to shop and fraudline. indicate why the prepaid numbers are blocked. Had to buy 2 new sims cards which has also been blocked. They refuse to transfer airtime and lies to the customer saying the numbers has been deleted while they dont want to do the effort to assist.

I am totally frustred with the services. And the attitude of the customer care department

I would like to lay a complaint against Vodacom accounts, I have x2 contacts with Vodacom namely

Sim card contract : 0714423497 account no: I8332577 Under this contract I had a debit order in place but I now have arrears, no one told me that it doesn’t go off and every month I have been making sure that the funds are there, I now have a 30 days overdue on my credit profile for February 2022

Second Contract : 0765680497 account no: I8419373

This contract has always been paid using the Vodacom App, which I had problems with and ended up going through 3 days later which has also affected my score

Both accounts have been paid well before the 7th of every month, However Vodacom is quick to reflect missed payments when it was paid, leaving my name in a bad light

I booked in my phone for repairs since month end of January. Been calling the repairs was told they still awaiting for parts. March I was sent a new job number and the phone was taken to advanced repairs. On the 13 April I get a sms stating that I can collect the phone when I get to Sandton city repairs store the phone is not there the tech guy did not release it.

I walked out of the Vodashop Centurion, they did not have stock and eish with Apple you don't know when they'll have stock. I then went to the Istore, friendly anc helpful, but once again a Vodacom problem... my number is still on the "old system" and it couldn't generate the quotation for me to sign and do the upgrade...

We ordered a upgrade phone but your courier cannot deliver as they cannot find our address. We have been living at the same address for more than 20 years and have been using Vodacom ever since. We had phones delivered at our address for everytime we upgrade but now RAM cannot find the address.

2 days of phoning and confirming the address over and over and stil no parcel. This is the worst service we receive from a Service Provider. Not even Vodacom can assist me and just revered me to the courier company.

I am not paying the courier monthly for servicea but I pay Vodacom. And stil the bad service.

I canceled my Vodacom contract on 17 February 2022, a debit order came off my account at the end of February and I reversed it. I then received a small requesting that I pay the outstanding amount on my account.

I then phoned Vodacom customer service at the beginning of March to tell them that I had canceled my contract and that I had reversed my debit order. I spoke to a lady named Bianca and explained everything to her and advised her that I had been billed an extra R100 and something for my unpaid debit order.

I cancelled my Vodacom fibre in May 2020. In March 2022 I was billed 1100 for fibre. I just received my April statement and once again I am being billed for Fibre I cancelled 2 years ago!! I have posted on Facebook, hello Peter and called the contact center many times!!

My husband passed away in August 2021. He had contract cover. I submitted the claim form, and all other relevant documents required by your estate department, including a bank confirmation letter for an Estate late account. Every time i call to follow up, I am told that your insurance dept is still working on it, I am most unhappy and dissatisfied by your poor service.

I hope that I have better luck with this complaint I am sending. I am also sending you my husbands ID NUMBER , 651028 5195 089. Should I receive no feedback , then I will be contacting the national ombudsman.

After almost 20 years of being a loyal Vodacom customer with no issues and bow they start. I did an upgrade on 07 march with agent Kim. I agreed on a package where I would receive a device and R390 airtime for R310, just to later found out that I'm now paying R400+ for R230 airtime. And on another line did an upgrade which I didn't agreed to. On enquiring on this on the first of April with so many calls to Vodacom they don't call back and tell me to hang on the line just to drop the line after 10-15 minutes. Everybody who answered the phone will do investigations and listen to the recordings but no one ever got back to me. I've spoken to managers Jay and the other I can't remember, but even they didn't get back to me with any feedback

I recently visited a the Vodacom store in Sandton to purchase the Samsung Z3 Flip cellphone. When I enquired about the price and deals the consultant said there is a cash price and contract. I enquired about both options and I was told the cash price is R 22 000. I then enquired about the contract , which I was told there is many options but was not explained any of the options and was told its very difficult to explain the options. I then asked for the booklet to check any advertised options and while checking I advised the consultant or staff member that MTN has advertised it for R549 per month. Then the consultant then tells me that I should rather go to MTN.

In 2019 Vodacom installed "Fiber" at our house, we are paying for a 100 MBPS line. Only to find out that we do not have Fiber, we only have LTE.

Since September 2021 we've noticed problems with our line and we started logging calls. Nothing was done.

In the beginning of March 2022 we've learned that we DO NOT have Fiber, we have LTE. For two years we've been paying for Fiber - 100 MBPS line, but we have LTE. After a big fight, they said they will fix the line for us and they will install Fiber. They switched off our WiFi to install the Fiber, but no one came to do the installation. We have been without WiFi for more than a week now.

Please let's do something about our fibre services customers care before we start losing customers. I am not sure if we only have one contractor assisting with addressing faults? Both myself and wife often work from home and my kids do online extra lessons. I have been complaining about my issue for more than two weeks now.

I have been calling the each and every day and the answer I get is that "Wait for the contractor to call you". It really frustrating to be offline for more than two weeks. I hope Vodacom can do something about this.

Now I have experienced what other customers are have been complaining about. It is really frustrating.. I urge Vodacom management to intervene before we start losing customers. Let's respect our customers

I had two Vodacom data contracts which ended last year (2021). I have been trying to cancel them, and nobody is willing to help me from Vodacom. Towards the end of 2021, around November and December, I received numerous calls from Vodacom agents who wanted me to upgrade, but I refused because I wanted the two contracts to be cancelled.

Due to frustrations from Vodacom which kept on deducting money from my account even though the contract expired a long time ago, I had to go to the Bank to cancel the stop. To my surprise, as I was making more attempts to cancel the contracts, I was informed that the contract was extended without my knowledge up to December 2022.

I am now left with no choice but to believe that Vodacom has a quite precise modus operandi that pins down customers with timeless…

I upgraded my cellphone contract (cellphone number-0727195957)and received my Iphone 12 Device on the 8th March 2022. I was informed by the consulted that I have 14 working days to cancel my contract should I change my mind. I called Vodacom today on the 24th March 2021 which is exactly 12 workings days after receiving my device to do the cancellation. I was then informed by the male consultant whos name I didn't take at 082-1958 that Vodacom that I had 14 days including weekends to do the cancellation and Vodacom cannot take the device back now since it's beyond 14 days. I also spoke to the lady by the name of Nosipho at 082-1958 who told me that it is 14 working days and I'm on my 12th day today which is still within the allowed cancellation period.

I really need to cancel this contract…

I upgrade with laptop in February. On the catalogue it comes with a router but I didn't receive it even after I called vodacom, it was empty promises.

Also I was misled by the sales lady named Thando Makgwale, who said I can insure the laptop on upgrade and sent me the insurance forms but when I went to the voda shop to help me fill in the application form I was told that the device cannot be insured if it doesn't use the original card. But I told Thando that the laptop is for my son and I need to insure it. I'm very disappointed
