I need a new phone.. my upgrade date are the 1 of September so i asked for an early upgrade, phoned vodacom and did the application al went well, the consultant helped me with the upgrade and i specific asked if the handset are available due to i need one asap, he said yes it is ....

the hole prosses was done.. two days after i received a sms that there are no stock on handset and its on back order , the conversation was a lie to get me to sign for a new contract. Now now phone but new contract.

I was told I could port my number from Telkom, but my contract was not up with them. Vodacom said no worries, we'll send you your new phone and we can port the number when it becomes available. They didn't say I should wait and not take out a contract with them, of course they didn't.

2 months later, the cancellation of the Telkom contract has been finalised and the number is available. Now Vodacom says there is nothing they can do. They can't port the number.

The Contract was taken out by the Fibre Manager (Wernich) at Vodacom George Garden Route Mall, we received our interim package (RAM Courier, Waybill A0684156 , SO210814/629406) but NO DONGLE was in the parcel, phoned and emailed Wernich who told me he will give us feedback, I have been following up and have placed x3 calls to vodacoms fibre line and still no answer is given as to when we will receive our dongle. I have also emailed Lorato Mokae (lorato.mokae@vcontractor.co.za) but I dont get any response. I phoned once again this morning (23/08/21) and I was given our old waybill number to use (as mentioned at the beginning of my message) as I was told the parcel was sent back to the courier which was incorrect information.

CASE NUMBER RCO122151 CONTRACT ADDED ILLEGALLY BY REWARDS CENTER - 076 896 4005

VODACOM have been illegally debiting me for a package, which I did not consent to since 04 October 2019. I have been trying to resolve this issue for months now, and have made countless phone calls to VODACOM, to no resolve! I am now forced to submit a complaint and take my case to the OMBUDSMAN.

I had originally requested the Voice Recording/Log for the Telephonic Sale. However, VODACOM refused to send it to me, and did eventually acknowledge that they were in fault, and that they would refund me since Inception of this package.

My husband got billied 4700 for google play on my vodacom acc but i only purchased 1199. I lodged a complaint on the 4th of August 2021, they replied that they would have the issue resolved by the 13th of August 2021.

They still haven't resolved nothing they sent my email yesterday with my bill for that amount and said they cant get hold of google and that i must lodge a complaint with google as they are not affiliated with them. So i said that i will only pay the vodacom amount and not the google until its resolved they say i can't do that!

But they just said they are not affiliated with them? I managed to get hold of google now i need a correlation nr from Vodacom now they are giving me the run around!! The lady from vodacom doesn't respond to my email!! za

I am very unhappy with my Vodacom account. I had 2 numbers on one account – one cell phone was stolen in March but I didn’t cancel it due to that the contract would have come to an end in APRIL. I was shocked when I received my debit order notification at end of March 2021 and it was the first time over R4000.00. I called Vodacom immediately to cancel the number on my account. I personally feel that I was not directed to assist me in cancel my contract and informed me quickly to do a sim swopped. I have also locked a call with the fraud department , but no joy.

In the month of June I got a call from Vodacom client services requesting me to upgrade my contract for cell number 079 149 4994. Fine because l was due for an upgrade. I accepted and later asked them to reverse the upgrade still within a period of about ten days.

In that upgrade I was not taking any equipment, it was just data. To my disappointment when the reversal was processed I was charged for equipment balance of contract 15 to the tune of R1000 rand plus. I have raised this matter with client services and they have acknowledged that its an error.

To my disappointment vodacom has gone on to deduct that said amount inthe month of August. This has weighed heavily on my finances as I had not budgeted for it. Please kindly assist to have this matter resolved urgently.

I have recently upgraded to an affordable package, but everything went wrong with my subscriotion supposedly paying less monthly. After I made Vodacom aware I am paying double the subscription fees since end of July 2021, Mr Dyllan informed me that the system charged me double the amount I am suppose to pay the reason being the system read my upgrade as a "new contract"?

I was charged incorrectly for subscription fees on my debit order since the end of Juley/beginning of August. At 13h44 on 13 August 2021 I received a telephone call from Vodacom Contracts, from number: 011 590 1181. The call lasted 13 minutes and 44 seconds. 1. 66 went off on 2 August 2021. 2. The caller advised that my contract is due for an upgrade and I told her that I was not going to upgrade.

She told me that the “old contract” does not exist anymore and that the “package had to change” and that I would supposedly get MORE data and MORE calling time, but that I was still going to pay the same amount of R299. I refused. 3. 66 and not R299.

Vodacom we had an agreement they debit from my account every month for my data contract. They do not debit and report to the credit bureau of account not being paid, everytime I have to call them to debit. Vodacom has now messed up my credit record.

We suffer for there incompetence of your employees. Last month July I called to ask if I have an arrears and was told no and they even offered me a phone. Today I am told I am in areas with R800.

Credit report says 90days missed payments. I am surely cancelling my contract.

I've had a problem with my upgrades and have called in to vodacom customer care on multiple occasions and have also requested that a manager / supervisor /team leader please call me on 3 different occasions. I still have not been called nor has my issue been resolved. Maybe Telkom will offer better customer service

I'm experiencing a very bad signal on my 0726185619 contract sim, I'm standing on 1mbps every day, I hardly use the data yet I'm paying every months for bad connection, was supposed to work from home due to covid 19, but as a result of bad connectivity I can not work at all.

further more I experience a better connection with cell c, but can not switch to cell c as vodacom want me cancelation fee which is all the amount I was supposed to pay in 24 months, I can't to pay both cell c and vodacom.

I really don't mind staying with vodacom if they can fix my internet connection.

I updated to an iPhone 11 for my Son in 2019 (079 435 6442). On the 2nd of August 2021, my Son took the phone to the Vodacom Mooiriver Mall branch in Potchefstroom to claim for damages. He was told that the phone cannot be fixed but they will have to replace it with a newer model, however, the current phone is underinsured.

He was told that we must pay a betterment fee of over R4000 as well as an excess fee. This is very unacceptable as it is not my responsibility to ensure that the phone was not underinsured at the time of upgrade.

Nobody at the shop gave or offered to highlight the fact that when we did the upgrade, we also had to upgrade the insurance. I, therefore, request a waiver on the betterment fee as well as the difference between the insured amounts from the time of upgrade to…

its been almost a week now and vodacom fibre has not sent out a technician or even had a technician to contact me

everytime i phone the call centre they sing the same old stories about procedures however they arent giving me a solution

they are out here on our roads the entire day busting our existing cables and causing havoc.

our entire area had down time for a day however everyone is back and up and running however I have not been sorted out.

vodacom is quick to collect their outstanding but pathetic on service delivery.

i have not had internet for almost a week now. who will refund me for that one week downtime????

more importantly we are working from home alternate days ? how do we do so without internet?

We had an outage in parlock durban on Friday. I made over 10 calls to the unfriendly useless fools from vodacom customer care support. Eventually it led to support on Twitter. The same nonsense everyone is saying. To date know1 has called....no technician sent out. I work from home. I'm so helpless and frustrated. There is nothing vodacom can say or do to make this up. No excuses. When you want us to sign up....everything happens quick....to take our debits....happens quick....to help customers....vodacom is a no show. I would appreciated if the CEO of Vodacom would kindly look into this matter, as I have been struggling to solve a problem with Vodacom since Dec 2016. See attached letter of 27 March 2017.

I have tried my upmost to resolve this problem till today no one has made an effort to help.

I visited Three Rivets mall vodashop this morning. The technician referred me to the consultant for upgrade after assist me. The lady's attitude was bad just when I greeted her. She told me what the technician had already explained to me,which was not what I wanted her to do for me but an upgrade.

She even shouted at the shop asking the technician if he didn't tell me that modern are no longer used. I asked her if she was willing to listen to me because she didn't even give me the chance to finish explaining why was I referred to her.

I left the shop without being assisted because I felt so embarrassed. I was never treated like that. Please retrain such fools.

I have recently upgrade one of my Vodacom sim number 0608219912 and I was told by the sale lady that the upgrade will come with R1000 voucher on the 01 0f August 2021. Till today I have not received the Voucher and Vodacom said the fault is with Elite Mobile, Called Elite Mobile and they are saying that before they can send me the Voucher, 3 debit order payments must go off first.

And during the sale of this upgrade has never told me this. I need t speak to one of the after sales managers to called me, as I cant get through to them on this number 0821945. At Vodacom there is no customer service and you can't speak to any manager.

Good Day 4/8/2021 +- 11:25am I received a call this morning from a lady to tell me that I have 3 numbers that I am paying for. I am not using them I told her. I asked if I can cancel them and she told me yes I can and I should call Cancellations.

I have been billed for Fibre for the last 3 months. What's crazy is that I've never had fibre in my apartment and what they have taken from me every month is well above the cost of their fibre. Three months worth of emails and customer service calls later and STILL I have not received my money back, nor do I know why this has even happened.

I have been contacting Vodacom 082135 since 15 June '21 to get an installation done for fibre. I spoke to Youlanda, she was not helpful, and did not log a service request. I called on 06 July 21, spoke to Willmarie who gave me an SR 210706/798577 number and she will escalate my dissatisfaction. Still nothing from Vodacom.

I recently signed on for Vodacom Fibre for both our houses in Hermanus. I am having issues with Vodacom's fibre network blocking a port or something somewhere in the network that is causing issues when I log on to our company's VPN. As soon as I log on to VPN I am unable to use the internet, which means I am also unable to do Zoom or MS Teams conference calls.

We have been using this VPN service for some time and I have never had any issues with it until I try to use it with Vodacom Fibre. I am even able to use the VPN when I hotspot my Vodacom cellphone, but it does not work with the Vodacom Fibre.

I have [honed numerous times and spent hour on the phone with Vodacom personnel and Last week Friday I was promised that the issue would be resolved by 13:00 on Saturday afternoon…

My mother, who is an elderly lady, knows nothing about the cancelation and upgrade process. We cancelled and upgraded 2 contracts but the money is still being deducted from her. When e cane to Springs mall vodacom they refused me in to help her.

Ao now she is there alone and all her issues were not sorted out and were sone completely wrong. The shop manager was completely rude and yelling. Tje behaviour is totally unexepytable and now my mother’s vodacom accounts ate all wrong and she still needs to pay all the money???

The whole Estate experienced a fibre shut down die to a cable that was faulty when this was fixed everyone in the Estate got restored except my house. Contacted vodacom, logged a call on the 22 July 2021 even today i am still waiting for a technician to come help me.

I have called the customer service more that 50 times talking to different agents promising me that a technician has been asigned but no one ever comes or even apologize for being able to make it. I have canceled most of my plans waiting to meet the technician, i am now spending more money but data for my kids to be able to attend classes and to be able to work as well.

I informed Vodacom Dealer in Hillcrest Durban on the 24th March to cancel all my contracts that we no longer using. I gave them the numbers and submitted in email. They assured me it was sorted out. Done the upgrades as well.

It is now 4 months later and we still paying for contracts. I requested that our invoices and statements are send to us , I am still waiting. I have been to them 4 times now and no one has sorted this out I was told there was a problem with their system Not accepting it.

If they do not make contact with me then I will also return the debit order for this month of R24K, I have all my proof. za Xolisile Khumalo, no joy. Going to take this to social media.

Constant failure to collect device linked to an upgrade. Many calls and emails left unattended. Same answer-apologies for the inconvenience and that it is unacceptable but with no action. A 5- 14 working day turnaround time is now at 20 days.

There is not much more to say than this except that the customer focus is completely absent.

I've had an account with Vodacom previous years and paid it up, but to my surprise, it appears on my ITC and there's a balance of R319 and account is not closed; its still active.

I've sent numerous e-mails to customercare@vodacom.co.za and no feedback is received. please clear the balance to zero and status be "closed" on ITC.

Vodacom fibre has the worst customer service and your agents are so incompetent. When I initially applied for fibre installation I requested that my debit date be the 25th of every month, however, someone decided to make it the 1st of every month.

It came to my attention now that I am being charged an extra amount when they don't find funds on the 1st. I requested for a change in debit date to the 25th, that service request was not executed. Just absolutely ridiculous, I end up having to pay extra amounts and this has had a negative impact to my credit score.

I requested for a cancellation a month ago and that service request is still pending. I cannot get any form of reasonable help. This is just ridiculous.

Done an online upgrade via Vodacom Agent over the phone partly due to the Covid 19 fact to avoid crowded stores. The order was placed with the online agent and amended to verify stock availability. The order was for a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Core i5 Notebook 8GB RAM and 256SSD specs as well as 10GB a month DATA for a 36 month period.

A order was delivered via RAM couriers to me on the 7 July 2021. When I checked the invoice I notice it was not he Notebook I order. I phone to enquire and the agent told me they will collect the wrongly delivered order cancel the upgrade and I can redo the whole process.

Today is 3 weeks later and still waiting for a courier collection. Have send several enquiries to customer care with only a automated feedback they will attend to my issue within 24 working…

I have had this contract for less than three months and also to get this contract with vodacom has been a hassle A few weeks ago so this being around 28th June I made a call to vodacom i spoke to a guy by the name of Sello/Solomon not to vivid on the name as i was so busy as well, told him that my dad is seriously sick and is in hospital and i am so busy running up and down, that I would like to change my debit order details because I have switched accounts to FNB from Capitec,I asked him if im not too late because its already month end etc.

Please advise, On Monday 19,07, 2021, i had a telephone call from vodacom agents regarding my vodacom contract airtime. I explained to the agents that I had tried paying the account online since I became aware of it 3 weeks ago,I would like to know why I didn't receive a call or letter regarding this contract 10 years ago. Re-installing a wifi router. We have waited on the 30day notice period as per the contract given by Vodacom but now we do not get ANY service. Have made multiple phone calls to the fibre department to get answers with no luck.

Our calls have been escalted all over but not one phone call back. This is un-acceptable. The debit orders will of course go off with no excuse accepted. Even if we did not eve have any wifi. HOW HARD CAN IT BE....

Sir/Madam My name is Timmy Setlogelo. I made a purchase at Vodacom Heidelberg mall of a Huawei P20 2021 phone. The sales lady recommended the cellphone to me and told me that the phone uses Findora. She never explained in details what exactly Findora was.

This phone was a precious gift for my wives birthday. To my surprise when I handed the phone to my wife on her birthday 15/06/2021. She tried accessing it and discovered that the phone does not take Google features. We tried checking on Google and discovered that indeed it doesn't.

We woke up on the 17th of June and went to the shop with everything well packaged in its original packaging to exchange the phone because that's not what I actually wanted. The phone does not take Google play store ,meaning she can't receive her emails can't…

I was at VodaCom Mimosa Mall yesterday to complete an upgrade, the consultant that helped me was not really interested in doing so, he was more interested in the messages coming through on his phone, this is really not good service from your consultants, we pay for a service and would appreciate good customer service, the consultant was Jano if I was not mistaken.
