Good day On 2023/01/03 I received a call from a company offering me an upgrade on my contract. Itold her that I will upgrade if it is to an Oppo A54S. I also ask her if it is possable that I can get two phones so that I can give one to my wife so that she can migrate from Trlkom to Vodacom. I also told her that I will only accept the upgrade if this can be done. After she assured me that it can be done the process was finalized. About 15 minutes later she phone me back and tell me the phone I apply for are no longer availiable. She then offered me the Oppo A16. I specifcly asked her if this is a good phone on which she replied that it is a even better phone.

On 2023/01/04 at 12:53 the phones were delivered to me.

On 2023/01/05 we took the phones to the Vodashop in the Corkwood Square…

REPAIR number 20282926 Today (5 Jan 2023) I had 2 people cancel their appointments to drive me in heavy rain to Northgate PEP to fetch my repaired phone after I have received the following message (SMS) from you:

1. I have tried unsuccessfully to cancel my subscription for the past three months; however, Vodacom just continues to allocate automated data to me and expect me to pay for this unrequired service without raising any complaint.

2. I had a second pay-as-you-go cellphone number which I cancelled somewhere around 2018 or 2019 - i cannot remember the exact date. Upon cancellation I had a credit of R255 . Up to this day no attempt was made to return the money to me. I cannot fix it via MyVodacom, as the app stops access to the closed account. A call for assistance did not deliver any result.

Don't subscribe to any Vodacom offer. You end up as the loser.

My husband and I moved to a complex in Howick, KZN. We are experiencing no or very little Internet connection. We have informed Vodacom of this in November. We have received a call from a technician saying that this was a bad area for connection.

He said that we could possibly have our contract cancelled, with no charges. We have phoned Vodacom numerous of times, asking what is happening, as we are paying for a service that we can not use half of the time.

Unbeknown to us, if you contact Vodacom too many times, they block you. So this is where we are now, unable to contact them and we are still paying for Internet and we do not have connection most of the time.

I had airtime on my phone and recieved a call. Person who called using different network and she had airtime and was charged by her network provider at the same time vodacome charged me for that call. I called customer service from 7am till 11am trying to resolve this issue and recover my airtime.

The last consultant i spoke to said i was not aware that i agreed to being charged for that incoming call, it does not make sense cos how can i agree to something ive never recieved notification, there was no beep or any option when i was on that call. Im very dissapointed with vodacom, ive never heard of such thing that a person can be charged for incoming call yet i did not opt for it.

Disappointed with Vodacoms service yett again. WiFi not working for days now, phoned the call centre bout 9 times so far they try and help yett fail. Only given the excuse they logged the call and waiting for technical to give feedback.

Technical should be available 24/7 especially on weekends and public holidays. Our kids are left at home during the holidays with no WiFi to entertain themselves I dnt think that's fair. We are now paying for WiFi that doesn't work and Netflix that needs wifi???

I bought a home router and uncapped data oñ the 30 Nov to Lndi Makoanyana.

I've received an email regarding the stock qas low but it will be delivered.

Then mid Dec I've started tobdo the follow-up I've been told that it was cancelled and it seems as if she forgot to attched my documents but the was no specific reason.

Ive called Vodacom many times requesting the supervisor or manager to resolve this issue but no called ne back after several calls I made.

As a loyal customer for Vodacom for so many years.I am willing to cancel all my contracts with Vodacom and cuange all my numbers.

I am not happy with service that I'm getting from them.

I applied more than a month ago for fiber wfi. Contract was approved. Send many emails did not receive any feedback. I phone for a follow up today just to find out that no request was send true. The request and order was ceated today. A month after applying. Order number SAO 221127-520154. Ref no 221228-656336.

The consultant ask me to wait until January. That mean that servises take 2 months to be delivered. I did not even received a router. This is unexcepteble. Im going viral with the poor service of vodacom fiber.

On your black Friday deals I went to vodacom Harrismith and applied for Samsung s 22 plus coming with Samsung s21. They didn't have the phones and was told they wokl source them in Bloemfontein indeed received a call the following week informing me my phones have arrived. I went to the store the following day and and couldn't get the phones because there was a problem with the code and after being in the store so many times for update I was eventually phoned and told I can't get the phones because the deal has expired. Ia it ma fault that the store received the phones late whereas I went to the store to apply for the phones before the deal expired? Hi. I so much want to say that you'll is the best network ,service providers and simply the best option to have a contract, But I never thought this net work would blow my mind. My contract is to expire. I have proof that I have a 36 month contract which I took out on the 12th of December 2019. Soooo in my little mind I should be able to cancel it. Considering it would only be fair.

But with further detail, call me stupid if you want I don't really give ....I was told yesterday's that some how and some way I have extended my contract for a Sim that I never ever used., and yes I never made use of the benefits for the whole duration of the current contract.

i have been without fiber since Monday 19th December. I had logged 2 requests on the 19th of December. My first request via the Vodacom app was not reflecting. I therefore called into the call centre on 082 1904. SR221219-638521 and SR221229-638555.

I have subsequently called in 6 times referring to the ticket number SR221219-638555. Yesterday evening I received the attached 2 emails confirming that both requests have been closed even though I am still in the same position I was on Monday – No internet connectivity.

Vodacoms terms and conditions are extremely misleading. We had been previously advised in a vodacom store that if the phone was not up to our satisfaction, it could be returned within 14 days. According to the consumer protection act there should be a cool off period.

We took delivery of a phone two days ago and vodacom Musgrave is refusing to take back the unopened and unused device to exchange it for a different phone. I think it is absolutely ludacris

Vodacom porting department/rewards customer care consultants do not know what their department does.

I called 5 times and spoke to 5 most INCOMPETENT consultants! One of them had the audacity to hang up the line.

I called regarding my Vodacom travel rewards and 5 times I was directed to REWARDS.CO on 086 123 6666

Rewards Co is your external contract department yet your customer care consultants have no knowledge.

They are telling me to call them because they are called REWARDS Co.

On 14 November 2022 I cancelled my Vodacom LTE200G Home Internet account (number 0662271256) and opened an account for fiber as from 1 December 2022. It was only cancelled on 6 December 2022 without any call from me (we received an SMS message). Now I'm being charged for both accounts for December 2022. It is not my fault that it took you three weeks to cancel my contract and I would like a refund. I have discussed this matter with Vodacom manager (Amber) at your shop at Bay West Mall, Port Elizabeth, and number of people at Vodacom Customer Care and After Sales Service. I applied for a contract with Vodacom and the contract was cancelled without my concerned. I later called to check the status but I was advised of the cancellation. I immediately requested to be assisted in reinstating the same contract. They refused to assist.

I spoke to the manager by the name of Mollah from social who guaranteed me that the contract was reinstated and that I should go to mall of Africa to collect it. To my suprise the status is still the same.

I complained again on social media (Facebook) and I was told that they cannot assist me in anyway. I asked for the manager and my query was just closed with to assistance whatsoever.

I have won vouchers from vodacom, but when trying to redeem the vouchers they say does not exist. I have Wimpy vouchers I could not redeem them. Why is Vodacom giving vouched which we cannot use. Shame on you Vodacom.

I baught a Huawei Nova Y9a on the Pay Joy option at Vodacom Flamwood Walk since I received the phone I had problems with it auto screen rotation doesn't work setting up apps where I need to take a selfie doesn't work and the phone is just not user friendly I went back to the store and they told me the phone needs to be sent to Potchefstroom to be assessed so I will be without a phone for 2 to 3 weeks which is impossible because I use my phone for my work.

Claim for stolen cellphone accidentally submitted with the incorrect date of loss on 7/11/2022. The claim was declined. The correct date with supporting documents was sent on 30/11/2022 e.g.

The date of blacklisting the phone with Vodacom was 19/10/2022 – ITC number: 33214332 Date of loss – 19/10/2022 SAPS case number – 07/10/2022

All supporting documents and email trails are available on request.

I followed up on 7/12/2022 and still did not receive any feedback.

I have been contacting Vodacom consultants since 09/12/22 for an upgrade to my current contract. They have been promising to get back to since and have never gotten back to me. I have been calling them everyday ever since that day and they don't get back.

A consultant by the name of Lerato Mokoatle has been lying to us and was very incompetent. I finally spoke to a manager who promised to call me back after my complaint and he too never got back to us.

Finally another manager helped us and asked a consultant by the name of Ayanda Q to confirm our upgrade which we did and he promised an sms will be sent to us and to date there's nothing. I called back today and other consultants have checked and said that there was nothing on the profile that showed an upgrade.

Very poor service I'm really not happy with the service I'm receiving from Vodacom online and customer service, last week Monday I applied for an upgrade and it was approved and my Samsung A23 x2 was delivered on Thursday, Friday evening I opened the package for the devices and discovered that one handset was faulty.

Saturday I contacted Vodacom to advise of the problem and I was assisted by Priscilla Naidoo and she advised me to return both devices and she arranged for collection, no one contacted me to inform me when am I getting the new devices. Today when I call the call Centre I'm informed that my contract is cancelled can you kindly look into this matter and advise when am I getting my new phones?

Good Afternoon,

I have not had the best experience with vodacom thus far. We applied for a new contract which was approved.

There has been several delays. First when the order was shipped the vodacom consultant placed the wrong ID number on the package. Therefore, i was not allowed to receive it from the courier.

This delay resulted in me having to change my flight which cost me 2K. After which the following day (today) i was supposed to have received the same order this morning.

I have been following up and no proper communication has been given to me by the courier, nor through vodacom. Im now in the position where i will have to change my flight for the second time.

This has not been sorted out. The communication is awful and no one from either RAM couriers or vodacom has.

REF 221212-618480 I am without Fibre connection since November 2022. This was when my daughters wrote exams online and I spend so much money buying data for this while Vodacom was lying to me. They inform me that it was an area outage. It came to light that everyone in my area was connected except me. What a disgrace. Our Account number is NM066798. Our account manager is Steve Munien. Apparently he is working from home and does not have a printer, and so he is expecting me, the customer, to print the invoices (41 invoices) that have been captured incorrectly by Vodacom - so that he can send them for correction on next month's billing.

I placed an order for vodacom Fibre on the 1st of November. I immediately informed that the application was approved. I received the router the week after the application was approved. Despite constant cal and followups to your technical support department, I have still not had any feedback regarding a date if installation.

Every day I deal with a different agent and every day the agent tells me that "someone will call me back" and to date, no one has called me back with any information regarding this installation.

I have cancelled my Vodacom router in July 2022. Online service. Router not working. Not able to do my work. Dont need it anymore. Moved to different apartment with router.

Vodacom keeps on telling me someone will call me to arrange collection. To date, no call.

Yet, debit orders are going off for a service I don't have. Since July 2023.

I keep on holding on when calling.. can hear people talking in background and then gets cutt off.

I cancelled an insurance on cellphone 0828021992 and got confirmation on 27 June 2022. I retained insurance on 0664776085. The opposite was done. I requested correction it was confirmed as done Vodacom continued to illegally debit my account for cnacelled insurance.

I made sveral follow ups for refund. Although promise to refund was done in writing it has never been done. Katakani Baloyi who has been following up and make promises has since October decided not to respond to my emailsand no refund is made.

I recently upgrade on 26 November 2022 at Makro stores on Samsung A33 5g Blu ( **********05613)

The battery life doesn’t last long

I returned device with box on 30 November 2022

Makro staff and management told me if there are any fault with the device and I bring it within the periosd of 7days I will received a new one.

Makro issued me a assessment note **********

It's now the 9 December 2022 and I'm still awaiting feedback from them.

I logged the complaint with Vodacom on ref EC-1ES7-1807CZ

As customer I want to know what's happening to when I will be getting a new device.

I ported over to Vodacom a month ago and to date my line is not working. I cannot make or receive calls. sms also not working. Numerous calls have been logged with their porting department and also visited a store in Southgate - still no help.

Called the 082 135 and they are also STILL calling me back. I tried get a hold of the porting department manager and was told that they don't know who that is!!! they have a supervisor by the name of Sello - they don't give out surnames!!

Numerous messages left for him, and he still has not called me. By the way Sello knocks off just after 4pm and the agents are left to their own accord. 1 agent answered the call but didn't say anything for 12 minutes - too busy chatting with others in the office.

I need this matter resolved!!!
