Good day I am Zanele Mlambo on the 13 of Oct 2022 I bought Debonairs pizza online used my 70vodabucks and i had to top up with the amount of R39 , I placed an order but I didn’t get an sms for my order but I did get order number via the vodacom app , fair I screenshot it

I went to Debonairs showed waited there my maybe for 30 minutes because of loadshedding I show them the order number they asked for an sms I said I didn’t get an sms , they said they don’t know how does vodabucks works,

They gave me email address to their head office till today ,I’ve been calling them , no one seems to knew what is happening

On the 30th November 2023 I upgraded from an Iphone 11 to a Iphone 13. The phone was on a contract for R705 per month. Vodacom contacted me, confirmed the contract upgrade. The agent told me that he does have a blue phone in stock and the deal was done.

The following day I received a sms from Vodacom that the phone is out of stock. Today I phoned Vodacom. I was informed that they can send me a pink phone but now the deal is R779 per month. I explained that my upgrade was done for R705 per month.

I did not want to take the new deal - The agent advised me that in that case, he cannot tell me if and when I will receive a phone. I found this unacceptable. At this stage I have no idea if I am going to get my phone?

This is the second time a Vodacom agent has called to 'upgrade/migrate' my package and to a better deal and LIED about the charges. Only once receiving the quotation via email do you realise how much you will actually be billed.

Then you are required to call them and cancel whatever bogus offer they sent you. Complete waste of time.

Next time someone calls to 'help' me with a 'better offer' I will politely block and cancel the call.

Vodacom is telling me that they will activate my LTE dongle in a day or two and I need to be connected. Why is it taking so long? They did not mentoin that to me when I took the offer.

It is inconviniencing me cos I work from home. I'd understand if they said hours but more than that is not fair. I took this contract for work purpose but they are failing me.

1. I have started a new contract for a Mecer laptop, and was told by the sales person that a 10G SIM card will be delivered. I have been charged activation fee, but no SIM card was delivered. The official I spoke to suggested I buy a SIM card, which Vodacom would refund me, and then I should contact 082135 to activate. 2. I wish to cancel all my expired contracts. I have not succeeded with the call centres and branches on this, the one refers to the other, mentioning reasons such as load-shedding interruption. The call centre menu and waiting is tedious.

We have been without Fibre access for exactly a week now. We have been made numerous promises that a Technician will attend our property, and no one has made contact. Then they used an excuse that they can't assist when it rains.

There has not been even a trace of rain in our area. Call centre can do nothing but escalate the matter. I am extremely disappointed with Nokia and Vodacom Fibre. How does it take a Technician more than a week to arrange an appointment.

As I'm typing this complaint we are still without Fibre and we are unable to work. I have decided to cancel my contact and go with Telkom , where I can atleast speak to a person.

I have reported my fibre line which is not working since Wednesday I was told 24/48 hours it's now been 6 days and still nothing.l have phoned numerous times and been told every story in the book that they will email me still waiting the tech will phone for appointment still waiting. So the reason for my complaint can't see that anything will come form this as vodacom can even fix n fiber line thanks

I can not make/receive calls on my phone since last night, It says my cellular mobile has been suspended and Iam on my an on biller flexi through sheet street. I've been calling but still no help. Sheet street customer care said they will call me back and that was hours ago.

Did an upgrade on a data contract 25 November 2022 Still waiting for delivery. Have been told to deal with Vodacom courier suppliers directly. Spent more than one hour holding for customer after sales service. Staff take messages. Nobody calls back.

Staff promise to copy you on e-mails. No feedback. Spent hours on the phone without any feedback Feels like we are being lied to. Still no solution.

I tried to transfer my personal airtime and data packages to a business' account as it is far cheaper. I applied 18 Nov. After 4 visits to Vodacom, and my husband having to go in as well as he is partner (silent) in the business, and a million emails, I was phoned today and told my business credit rating is too low.

Very weird that I draw salary only from my business and hence that is where i get funding to pay for my phone. They had a million excuses along the way, of which I all satisfied. If is was really the credit rating, would they not have been able to answer me in a day?

so if my business is not good enough my personal account is neither. I have been a long standing customer of Vodacom, but treated in this way, I am upset and disappointed. Vodacom will lose a life long customer.

First, we try to pay our bill, and Karabo from your institute had no idea what reference we must use, etc. Since the 29th of November, our internet/wifi is off or suspended despite the fact that the area's amount was paid and the debit order run a double premium.

I am struggling to get the internet/wifi line un-suspended since the 30th of November. Now Karabo and Beatrix think the problem is with one of our normal telephone lines. Your personal has no idea what they are doing!!

We upgrade to a black friday special that promises 20 gig free data for 36 months. Yet after 24 months you stopped it. Now claiming it was only for 24 months and the promotional flyer must have a printing error on it.

The second complain on this contract you change it after 5 or 6 months to a more expensive contract. With more free minutes after we never even use all the ones we usually got. And since then it seems impossible to change it back to the contract we signed for.

One consultant told me if we changed it back, we need to pay a R2000 migration fee! This is daylight robberry. We never ask for this upgrade in the first place. And to charge us money to change it back to the plan we agree and signed for is not right.

And to tell us after 2 years you made a fault on your flyer, and…

My order number 1-3591 3349 931 236 with Vodacom on 01Dec2022 refers.

Yesterday I called a Vodacom store to request for my credit rating to be reviewed because I was declined 2 contract upgrades at a Game store over the weekend.

The consultant assisted me by requesting for a credit rating review from Vodacom. At 3:37pm on 01Dec2022 I got an Sms to alert me that my request was logged. At 3:40pm on 01Dec2022 I got an Sms that notified me that my request is still in progress. At 3:44pm on 01Dec2022 I got an Sms that simply stated that my query was closed.

I did not get any feedback whatsoever from Vodacom to advise me of the outcome of my request. I had to call Vodacom this morning to inquire as to why my query was closed.

I feel that this was rude, unethical and certainly not good…

I have been trying to obtain a refund since 17th November and now it is the 2nd of October. Yet I am told the new ticket will take 24 to 48 hours to get assigned to someone. Other companies don't even have manned call centers yet they will attempt to resolve issues within 15 minutes when it comes to billing problems.

First off-it’s is almost impossible to speak to a real person online through their support services. If you go to their website and click on need help, thry can’t help. If you call the number provided there is no option to speak to a consultant on the automated menu, and their “bot” Toby is useless.

It’s no longer a pleasure to try and speak to any kind of human anywhere

za on the 26th of November and I haven't received any response. Your service is very bad can somebody please come back to me? I took my phone for repairs on the 4th November to Westonaria vodacom store and I told them I have insurance 3 weeks later when I was following up with them they said insurance doesn't cover software updates now my complaint is why they kept quiet about this information until I call them to follow up?

Now they are telling me that I must come take the phone and bring excess of R250 how because I never received a job number and insurance doesn't cover that damage so what is the excess for? Can I please have my phone other wise I won't renew my contract with you I have been a loyal customer for years to vodacom.

The service I received really sucks.

I phoned Vodacom customer care and had the most arrogant consultant ever. Duncan I really hope they fire you or move you to a position where you never work with clients. You talk over a customer or do not listen to them.

You need to be taught some manners. The precious 3 consultants that helped me with same issue was amazing and friendly but you Duncan are a arrogant ...... I will def try to get hold of Vodacom to get your ass fired.

Vodacom Canal Walk has out done themselves with the lack in customer care, pathetic customer service is an understatement. My recall of dealing with Vodacom Canal Walk: I was robbed, on 25th July,my phone was stolen from me. On evening of the 26th July I went into Vodacom Canal Walk waited to be assisted, spoke to the guy with dreadlocks who was very helpful, asked him what the process was after the incident happend, he advised the following: the phone needed to be black listed, a sim swop needed to be done, then

On Friday 25th November 2022, I upgraded a contract on cell number 082 335 2975. Arriving at home I realized that they had given me a contract term that I do not agree with. On Saturday 26th November 2022, I went to the Vodacom shop in Middelburg mall where I took the contract and informed the sales consultant (Lihle) that I am not happy with the contract and the monthly term that has given to me. My husband bought a router online that was delivered to us two weeks ago, we have been trying to contact vodacom several times with no luck. We then went to the vodacom stores where we were told that we can't be assisted , only online consultants can assist us. We then submitted a complaint on your Facebook page where they've also called us back but still , our router is still not connected... getting this network to work has been a nightmare.... please assist or may we please get a refund and cone collect your router. My upgrade phone was cancelled due to the stupidity of RAM couriers. They delivered the phone every time during working hours and did not accept my ID, my wife's ID as well as proof of residence. The wrong cell number's data was upgraded. Well done.

I got scammed my airtime and my Airtime advance of R250 this happened after someone called me and said he was from vodacom but I got suspicious after he started asking me about my banks. So I think he went on to do a sim swop of my number while my phone was on and I went to Vodashop I East Rand mall the lady was just as useless as the guy who robbed me because she didn't even ask me anything.

My wife is being charged for a router that was returned to vodacom months ago. We've lodged multiple complaints and all we ever get is different reference numbers. Vodacom provides the worst customer service next to telkom. We are actually considering moving over to telkom as their pathetic service is much faster than Vodacom!!!!!

September 2022 I called to find out if I can early upgrade my Data plan - Agent of 082 135 said phone in October then we can do it as we can early upgrade a month before the time.

I called on the 1st of October - Agent of 082 135 said that in order to upgrade early I have to take a package that is the same amount of data as my current package or more. This wasn't a good deal for me so he said then phone in November to do the upgrade when it's due so that I can take any package.

I called in November , on the 1st to be precise. I then went online after the go ahead to upgrade and I upgraded to the Huawei matepad 10.4 . Received a notification to wait 3 - 5 days for delivery via RAM couriers.

I kept tracking my parcel each day and to my surprise it kept saying failed delivery attempt, but…

I have upgraded 2 months ago and I was charged an upgrade fee of R147 which was not disclosed by a consultant and upon my communications with one of the consultant he promised to reverse it but nothing happened and when I try to follow up none of the consultants are giving positive response except moving me from pillar to post without any solution but empty promises.

I’ve been with Vodacom for 15 years but their service is depleting slowly with poor customer service and consultants are not accountable for anything or committed whatsoever. Except on closing the deal without considering customers whom they pay their bills!

It is pathetic i have 5 contracts with vodacom and just get no service. Lodging complaints of my internet not working most of the time and promises of someone calling me back after lodging a complaint. But skip one payment then they phone you 20 times to remind.

Every month i pay about R4000 to vodacom but my tower rooter never work now vodacom you want to know why everyone is going to fibre your service delivery is pathetic and your operators sound like preprogrammed machines as soon as my contracts are up i will never use vodacom again.

Until today my data Sim is not activated. I lost my phone on 06th October 2022 and because of that I had to work from the office because I could not connect as I do not have data. Now I did simswap 6 days ago and still my Sim is not activated.

I recently bought an Alcatel LinkHub online from vodacom. The sim card is locked. Their customer care failed to unlock the sim card and referred the matter to Aftersale department for further assistance. Since on the 15th of Nov 2022 to date, no communication received from vodacom, none whatsoever.

On the other hand a order went through on my account. Why am I paying for a device which is not working.

My prepaid cell number has been locked and shut down completely. According to Vodacom, there has been "fraudulent activity involving misuse of free or zero related websites." No proof forthcoming and my whole life (banking, work etc) revolves around that number!

I was due for an upgrade and my husband found a very good deal online. He upgraded for me. I kept on getting calls to say that I must upgrade and I kept on telling them that I had already upgraded.

More or less the same time, my Vodacom bill soared. We went to the Vodacom store to see a consultant to understand why this is the case. The person there indicated that what was done with Vodacom online was not an upgrade, but a NEW contract.

We said no, not at all that is not what we had indicated. He said that he could not help us at all and that we have to take it up with Vodacom Online (WHY I still do not understand - surely Vodacom is one overarching company).

My phone was upgraded at the end of October. The salesman quoted me a subscriptions fee of just below R400. Yet my bill showed an amount of R452. It took a month to finally get the reason with many calls, having the customer care asking and telling the same information, reading from the detailed billing, something I could easily to without their help but never giving me s reason.

It took at least 4 agents to tell me what was on the detailed billing. Until today. What irritates me is the customer care agents asking me to contact this or that department to cancel benefits on the old device. Sorry Vodacom.

It's your job to do that. Customer care agents are the persons to resolve the problem and contact the relevant department. Not the client!!!

I have a business LTE 30mb Uncapped package with Vodacom. I have been experiencing low speed for 7 months and upon doing the CFO speed test and providing the data to the business support no reason for the slow speed has been given.

I had to fill in a form to allow Vodacom to fit an aerial to my home but that was 3 weeks ago with no word or ETA. I have made multiple calls and send emails to different people since 25 Oct 2022 and today is the 21 Nov 2022 and I still have the same problem without any reasons or solutions given.

I am extremely unhappy that vodacom sales people in the retentions department LIE, MISREPRESENT AND THEN HOOK YOU INTO CONTRACTS. When I call to speak to a manager, I am told the division RETENTIONS does not have a contact number . There is a clear recording in which I was told i can be on prepaid airtime deal and am able to upgrade at any time. There was no mention of 3 months waiting period.
