i own a vw passat model 2017. i have a problem with the dealer. i had a parking break fault, electrical. the car is under warrantee. the part is not available at the dealer. it will be available in 1 months!!!! the dealer want me to pay for the part knowing that the car is under warantee and i have to pay for a rental car during the one month that the car is parked at the dealer.

My wife and I purchased a new 2012 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen in December of 2011. The car has just under 70,000 miles. The car has developed an oil leak that has coated parts of the underside of the car. I have pictures. I don't think a car with this low miles should have this problem. My question is does VW stand behind their products and be willing to help resolve this problem?

I received in the mail a letter from VW saying my vehicle needed a safety recall for a lever switch replacement. I took it on 12/31/19 at 7am. To start things off, the dealer couldn't even locate my car, which I bought in that exact location.

This is McKenna VW in Cerritos on Studebaker Road. They scheduled my appointment at 7am only to tell me the mechanic didn't arrive until 8am and my car wouldn't be ready until 10/1030am. When I went to pick up my car around 1pm, there was a bullet size hole on my windshield.

Keep in mind it was not like when I dropped it off. Noel C. Did my car inspection before arriving. When I told Noel C. The window was broken he immediately said "whoa that wasn't on there. " He stated he did the inspection and said he would have seen it.

I am highly dissatisifies with a sales person in D'iberville MS. His name is Gerald Edoria and he mislead me on several items concerning my lease. I am also going to post on Twitter, Facebook and any other social media I can access.

On several points I was mislead. 1} When driving the test vehicle I ask about the gas mileage since there was no sticker in the window. Gerald kept telling me how great the mileage is and how happy I would be.

After the papers were signed and i was given my copies, the sticker was in the group of papers and it read 22 miles per gallon. I have leased 3 cars prior to this on and 22 miles is the highest of any mileage by far.

I have been a good customer and a spoke person among family and friends of Volkswagen for the past 25 Years. Between friends and family, we own at least 20 Volkswagen Cars nationwide now. I Bought 3 Golfs Prior to the GTI-2013 that I own now but no more.

The GTI 2013 has been nothing but trouble for me. After the extended warranty expired, the transmission needs to be replace which is a disgrace because the car has been driven for 7 years only. I took it to the City Volkswagen of Chicago (which by the way their customer service is not friendly at all) because it was having issues, just to find out that it needs a new transmission which will cost me a lot of money.

I just watched Broken, and it showed your company using monkeys to test exhaust from your cars. Putting a terrified monkey into a chamber, obviously scared and terrified. I’m shocked, horribly disturbed and find myself wishing the tables could be turned.

I took my car to VW of State College for headlight problems n my epc light came on they said they couldn’t find the problem with the headlight? N never even told me there was a recall for this problem n I’m still driving with one headlight?

And as for the Epc light they said I was a exhaust leak n charged me a arm and a leg for a clamp on my exhaust pipe? And told they checked my whole air flow system. From the throttle body to the censors n air filter?

The level of disrespect shown by Volkswagen Moncton is shameful. It is unbelievable to me that someone can return their lease only to be immediately shown the door without even an offer to use the shuttle for a drive home.

The employees should be ashamed at treating another human this way. Making a senior on a tight budget walk home as she canny afford a taxi. Unfortunately this Volkswagen dealership has ruined the brand for me.

My name is Barry Cohen and I am a 4 time Volkswagen owner. I now own a used to be one time emissions flashed 2015 Volkswagen Sportwagen TDI that I loved to drive. I was sent a recall letter telling me that I had to bring in my car for a level 2 emissions computer flash. I brought it to Schumacher Volkswagen in West Palm Beach Florida a dealership that in the past I enjoyed doing business with them. I told the service manager David Rodes that if it was going to lower my then over 45 MPG's any more after the first flash when the car was new and getting 55 plus MPG's I absolutely no way wanted to have the level 2 Flash to be done. Purchased a 2nd hand vehicle from this dealership. A tracking device was on my previous vehicle I traded and on the new purchase. The guy role me he will sort this out as he just has to swop them. I am still paying for the previous tracking unit and the new 1.

Called the tracking company and they state I need to pay in R1600 to cancel the old 1 all the guy could have done was ask them to transfer the old unit to the new vehicle.

0 Diesel Engine with 105Kkm mileage. Suddenly my car won’t start, I cahnge battery and check starter but those are not the problem. I brought the car to VW service in the Philippines, and found out that the rocker arm is broken, piston valve torn to pieces, piston #1 and cylinder head are damged.

They cant explain to me how it happened considering timing belt are in good condition and no overheating was experienced. Now I am facing huge amount of repair cost because of early engine breakdown that is not supposed to happen on VW engines.

Hiley VW of Huntsville, Al. Dropped the 2015 VW passat to have them run diagnostic to see what the problem was. I had already replaced the spark plugs and cleaned a sensor the day before. I had Also determined that there was a problem with pressure on one of the cylinders(2).

So when I dropped the car I said call me and let me know what your diagnostic finds. They called me to tell me that they would start by replacing the coils and spark plugs for $500 and I said oh no you will not.

What did the diagnostic say--- He said he didn't Know. They then had the tech call me and said they would have their tech dive it and run diagnostic. So we were told 150 for the first day and 150 for the 2nd day.

I took my car to Burlington VW (NJ) yesterday for a clunking and grinding noise in my front end. The service manager called me to tell me that I am "crazy that there are no problems with my car", "its bullshit that I want further diagnostic test ran", cursed at me and hung up on me.

I have contacted the General Manager with no luck in response. I am highly upset and will be filing a complaint with BBB, this is not the first time I have had an issue with the customer service at this same dealership.

I feel very unsafe in my car and it is only a year old. I am paying all this money each month for a car I feel unsafe in and no one understand my frustrations. I will never buy another VW again and I don't even want this car.

I got stranded with coolant leaking and could not continue to drive. Overheating. Took my car to the local dealership here in Georgetown, Ontario. 31 to correct this. I found this too steep and brought my car to another Volkswagen Dealership.

08 And of course I gave them the go-ahead to perform the repair. My Golf is repaired now and I have peace of mind now that it was repaired by a competent dealer. Would like to hear from you why there is such a large difference between dealers when they are diagnosing the identical issue.

2014 Jetta wagon would not start towed to Lunde VW Peoria Az only to find out that the part needed would not be available for 7-14 weeks? Service Adviser, advised to call VW, not sure why there is Service in the job descriptions when the consumer is the one that needs to make the call for such an unrealistic part availability.

Be that as it may, called was placed, with an e-mail response from VW that they would get back to me next week? So, if the "service" folks take a week it only makes sense that getting a part would take that much time.

Car has extended VW warranty covers parts, but no car for 7-14 weeks VW needs to do better. I am going to our local Phoenix TV station to see if they can help or at least make the public aware of VW's part short comings?

My son recently purchased his first preowned 2016 Jetta GLI SEL on August 9, 2019 from Youngs Volkswagen in Easton, PA. He drove his car for less than 2 weeks when the engine decide to shut down. What seemed to be a simple key fob issue ended up to be the control board.

That's not the issue, it took Young's service department another 2 weeks to try to diagnose the issue. Then, the control board had to be back ordered and with no ETA on how long it would take to arrive. When, the control board finally came in, the service department could not re-program the control board. Yet again, another issue.

My incident happened on Jul 23 @ Burlington VW, Burlington. NJ. I had called and made an 830 am appt. When I got there I was greeted by the service dept mgr (J Gaiiagher). Once checked in he guaranteed prompt service.

So I left my car at 830 am, so I wait for a phone call with the results of my car problems. By 130 pm I still had not received a phone call. All they were doing was giving me a diagnostics of the issues.

I bought a 2018 Atlas Se w/ Tech Summer 2019, and have had my concerns ignored since day 1. Now, three different dealership service departments have offered me poor service, useless advice, and claim they simply won't/ don't know how to diagnose my problem.

9% confident my issue is a simple torque convertor issue, common among Atlas's, that has been present since day one and has now progressed into poor acceleration, lag, jerky gears, strange noises, etc. I am so fed up and floored that Volkswagen promotes a 6 year 72,000 mile warranty, but employs technicians who don't know how to / refuse to work on an Atlas.

I am leasing a 2019 VW Tiguan, there is currently 794 miles on the car, lease started at the end of May. I recently started having an alarm stating my oil needed changed in so many days. When I leased the car the salesperson told me service was 10K miles, or ounce a year.

I called my dealer which is about 45 miles from my home to see how to reset the alarm. They told me it had to be done by them. This is not making me happy with this car. I don't want to drive 90 miles to get this reset.

This is one more reason for me not to get another VW, when my lease is done.

Worst customer service ever! It started with George Scott the salesman we dealt with. He has the personality of a dead cat and has no clue of the cars he is selling. I asked him very simple questions that he could not answer.

Plus, he and his service manager are liars. I bought a new car and as soon as I left the lot there was an issue. I took it back after service was closed and they gave me a loaner. I came back after he said it was fixed. It wasn't.

I called George telling him I was bringing it back and I needed a loaner. Of course, when I get there he tells me service is closed and I can't get one (with his dead cat personality). The sales manager then tells me they never give loaners out after service is closed.

the vent for cold or hot air doesn't work. called a month ago to get appointment with vw and they said it wouldn't be seen until August 19, 2019. took the car there and was told to come back Sept 15, 2019 and they would order parts for it.

Why do i need to wait this long for a repair?

Well it all started off good. I bought a 2018 Tiguan SE the 1st of August. It is now August 9th of 2019 and I’m now seeing so many issues with this car.

First being my side assist. Back in March on 2019 they started working out of no where. I contact the dealership that I bought the car from and made an appt to get the car diagnosed. They diagnosed it and said there was not a code for the side assist and the need to replace it.

It is now August and they still have call me to make that appt to fix it. The VW of Lake Charles Louisiana is extremely unprofessional and clueless. I called several time to service to have to fit me and and not once have they gotten back in contact with me after leaving so many messages.

I purchases a 2012 Volkswagen beetle as a second car. I love the car very much, the way it drives and handles. From the very beginning the car was loosing antifreeze first very little and now, at 35000 miles, quite a lot on my garage floor.

I can see on line that a lot of Beetles have this problem and there should be a recall. I did not bring the car in during the warranty period, because the leak was very small. I just added antifreeze.

I have taken a vehicle at VW The Glen and assisted by Palesa Tshabalala, The service advisor for diagnosis. The problem was the car is persistent to destroy the battery and the power steering function will not work and the brake, abs and the steering lights on.

I took my car for service at 8AM on 6/6/19. The back light was out and needed repairing. I called at 12:30 to get a status update, was told someone will call me back. I decided to call back after not receiving any calls at about 1:15pm, was told the associate is with a client and will call me back, I opted to wait on the line.

9 May 2019 I send my AMAROK for service.Resetting was not done and kept showing oil change service.I had to drive 140 kilometers using my petrol for VW staff carelessness.Workshop Manager Chantel was very rude justifying this oversite and cannot compensate my fuel used for this distance. For several years I been trying to get my sunroof noise resolve. The service Department took a look and try to fix it, but I continuous noise entering passage sides whenever I exceeded 65 miles or more. The Volkswagen Dealership in Toms River promise me they would have regional Manager get in touch with me.

i bought a brand new 2019 tiguan r line in 2 months back and I'm not using it regularly because its my second car but now on the rear left side wheel the brake pads are finish ,so what's wrong with my car ,is it a fake brake pads or what?

I have a VW Passat 2009, last week while I was driving at Dallas Pkwy (TX) suddenly the sun roof flew away and hit the car behind mine. Fortunately that car isn't too close enough of mine, could have occurred a very serious accident.

Even the car is 10 years old (104K miles) this is something inadmissible, the car can not be destroyed in the middle of the way. Accordingly with the technical report of Hendrick VW of Frisco (TX) the slides were broken.

This is a case for a recall. I want to know if VW America will replace the sun roof and make a deeply investigation on the causes. Daniel Lecuona +1 (469) 931-6979

Took my 2004 to VW in Hayward Ca.2 weeks later same problem and can't even get a Loaner to use.3rd time VW in shop again.Very dissapointed!

We own a 2012 Golf TDI. We were told that we were eligible for the buy back program. My son who is the registered owner of the car is a student in Japan. He started the buy-back process from Japan.

He had to spend many hours and hundreds of dollars to obtain and complete the documents you required. He had to get a power of attorney so your claims department would talk to me. He did that and when it was all finished according to your claims website we tried to schedule an appointment to return the car.

This was on December 27, 2018, before the due date! We were told that their was no appointments available and that we had to file an appeal. We had thought that surely this was not a problem as we completed your requirements before the dead line.

February 15, 2019 I purchased a 2019 Tiguan at Don Jacobs VW in Lexington, Kentucky. I took advantage of the $500 military discount as an Army veteran of the Vietnam War era. I provided the dealer with a copy of my wallet id while completing the paperwork.

About 3 weeks later, the salesperson called asking for the full-size form DD214, saying VW required that and I sent that the same day. Two days ago, I get an email saying I must provide a statement stating I'm retired with full benefits!!!

At this point, I asked for a written VW policy on this "military discount" which the dealer provided the next day. On receipt, I called VW and spoke with a person named Angel, Case # 190298229, who attempted to explain to me "for this promotion a US military VETERAN is only a VETERAN for 2 years…

Appointment was made for a 15000km service 12/03/2019. Additional request - rattle at from when driving at low speed on gravel road, Interior rear view mirror blink in driver eye when sun fall through lifted sunroof. Vehicle was booked in on 12/03/2019 and service advisor was informed on other requests.

I was not informed after the vehicle was ready for collection. Vehicle was collected at 16:15 on 12/03/2019. I realized that the vehicle was not washed. When I arrived at home, I heard a serious rattle underneath engine when closing door.

I inspected the vehicle and found that the splash guard under the engine was not tightened. Bolts were only entered. When opening the bonnet, I found that oil filler cap was not refitted, but was lying on the right fender.

took my 2015 jette to dealership last Tuesday,My transmission started making a grinding like sound, I have 52000 miles on car have serviced all oil changes as scheduled, however last year unfortunately a deer and my jetta had a nice head on dance. the car was a mess,The insurance repaired the car and all damages.

Now the dealership still hasn't said what exactly is going on with the transmission but has said that volkswagon will not honor our warrenty, So we are out of a car !!!??? He said our transmission fluid is clear the fluid we drained from the car has a blueish like tint so I can tell you now that volkswagon is not going to honor the warrenty .
