Waffle House

First of all I tried calling to make a to go order,no answer,I understood that they were extremely busy, I drove in,and placed my order,I should have checked it before I left, but after the long wait I just wanted to go,and feed my elderly parents,once I got home there were no syrup,no eating utinlses,no butter,I ordered extra sausage,didn’t get that either,had to go all thewayback,manager recooked the food,was under cooked!!!

and to top that off I saw a small roach crawling out of the tune machine,not to mention,the restaurant was very dirty!!! This was@ the Austin Location on 8800 Hwy 290

I went to the eastgate location at around 4:30 AM. I saw lights on and when I tried to open it was locked. When Ibpulled up it looked like no one was inside. But people appeared out of no where and started hurriedly moving around but the door remained locked.

I went to my car to check if they were still supposed to be Open all night. And they were. Someone else pulled up and said are they open. I said they are supposed to be but the door is locked.

Then he tried the door but also knocked and got the attention of one of them and he told him they would be open at 5 which they were not. Because I decided to sit in the parking lot and wait. At 5:14 I left

I was assaulted by a waiter in the restaurant on 12/10/21!! He was rude from the time I was seated ! He told us when we sat down to stand up and get up from table ! My husband did I slid to very edge of seat facing outside toward my husband and he was slamming dishes!

He walked off and didn’t come back for 5 minutes so the rag he left on table I finished wiping it off ! I told my husband to sit back down! I didn’t stand all the way up because I am handicapped with hip and knee problems!

He then came back and said when u come back in here do not sit down in a booth with dishes and I told him I wasn’t going to be told When I can sit in that tone and we did not know you couldn’t set down that’s the first I have ever heard of such!!

i go into the waffle house in Wildwood Florida all the time the watress i hallways putting down the cook a older man WHO always does a good and fast job she says he stares at people wich is not true he has a eye problem and cant see well on one eye she airways smell like pot and says f--- all the time

We went into store #2390 at 850pm on 12/2/2021. We were told the dine in area was closed abd they would not be making any food for our party of 8.

I went to the one by the airport in Savannah on the road heading in to the airbort. It was disgusting the windows filthy the floor in the bathroom were filthy there was no tp left after i left in there i had to make the best of what was left on the roll hardly any ,then there was no soap or towels to clean your hands

This is in reference to store 2207# in Lake Charles Louisiana. We have ate at this Waffle House before during the morning shift and always had great food and great service however this trip was the evening of 11/27/2021 only one waitress who placed us at a table that had not been clean how none of them appeared.

To be clean we dusted it off with our napkins and let it go after looking around seeing trash and food on the floor we started to leave but didn’t because I had worked all day and was just ready to eat! Much to our suppries the waitress asked us if we could eat with plastic wear because she had not wash dishes yet and just wasn’t feeling it .

Sat at bar for 15 min before order taken. A customer walks in and they immediately take that person's order ahead of my order. When I brought the situation to their attention, I was ignored.

My friend and I just now are getting cussed out by an employee while the manager just sat there and let her.. all over a plate that she was supposed to receive from a prior vist in wich they had messed up the order..

now they say they can't its been over a week since that happened and will not honor there promise. When asked why and for our money back becouse we had all ready payed. the girl started smarting off and then started yelling "saying she didn't have to do anything.

The Waffle House in Springfield, TN allows some of their 1st shift employees to work on some type of drugs and also to sell drugs on the premises, they allow an employee by the name of Chris Sanders who cooks to drink while on the job and he even keeps a tall beer in the walk-in cooler.

A server by the name of Brittany will pass out in front of the store on the sidewalk because she is to high to stay awake and when it is brought to the attention of Val and Kimmie they brush it under the carpet so to speak. I will never step foot in that restaurant again.

I have never been treated this badly at one of your restaurants. We were in King NC. Came in everything was fine placed our order and the 2 more couples came in and got there food before us. When I asked about it.

This is about waffle house in Albemarle,NC my wife and I ate breakfast at Waffle house as we have lots of time. The bacon was to be crisp but instead the bacon press was not used and the bacon was rolled up and some of the same strip were not cooked enough.

I refused this and told them I wanted it crisp and the waitress took it back and told the cook . She brought back the same bacon that they had just put it back on the grill and it was worse and I refused it again.

This made the waitress mad and she said I don't know what you want. I told her that I wanted it crisp she poured it out and told the cook I refused it. The next time it came back it was cut in small pieces and over cooked.

My husband and I went to waffle house in little river and wanted to get a to go order and was told they couldn't take our order because there wasn't a waitress there we were also told we have to wait outside until a waitress came in. There was a waitress there but refused to serve us.

They were rude and very demanding that we wait outside. So we left and went to the waffle house on kings highway and they also refused service but never gave reason to why. The guy working didn't even look at us he cornered his eye and said were not taking orders.

The music is so loud we can’t bear our servers. They hear us as well. I have complained about this one other time and we were told that corporate is in charge of that. It’s very annoying to sit in a restaurant where you can’t hear the other person talking.

didn't even want to give this a star. I had a horrible experience at this Waffle House on 5565 Buford Hwy. After waiting 30 minutes for my food I inquired with Betty the waitress. She stated the manager Joshua never put my order in.

I asked him why didn't he put my order in and he stated I could leave if he didn't like the service here. I stated that I watched him talk rude to his employees. He said this is my store and you don't tell me how to run my store and you can leave.

I called in a to go order at Waffle House on Enterprise Dr in Olive Branch, MS this morning. had to wait another 10 minutes for the to finish my food. And then when I got my food home after I was specifically asked what condiments I wanted, I didn't get the condiments I requested.

And the worst part is after having to wait on my order with 2 extremely sick grandbabies in the car, just to find out that my orders where incorrect when we started eating. and onions on my husband's omelet. No onions, peppers or grits.

I've currently visited the waffle houses around the East Tennessee area. The district manager then said "even if u have covid if u Dont have symptoms your still coming to work". Its gotten to the point i see so much that happens at these stores that i no longer feel safe to bring my family to this restraunt. Now the store managers.

if something isnt done about this or this goes no where i will be contacting the local health department providing proof of what i said and have these stores shut down.

Staff arguing with a customer. The female staff was more interested in playing the jukebox and walking around singing. And we were the only customers in the restaurant and an elderly gentleman who the 1 the took his order waitress start to argue with because she took his order wrong.

Then she got mad and grabbed a cigarette and started smoking and talking on her phone as loud as she could. Very unprofessional and young staff. Its the worst restaurant we have ever had and my husband is 72 and I am 57. JUST TERRIBLE.

I walked in to the Waffle House on Western Center, was not greeted. The tables were not clean, so as I stood by a table I made eye contact with an employee and asked for the table to be cleaned.

I ordered two “to go” orders and one order was missing the waffle and the bacon was burned. Not edible. They did not add the sautéed onions to my hash browns that I requested and paid for. The cheese I ordered for my hash browns was just a slice of cheese melted across the top.

Driving pickup with small trailer was rudely not aloud to park in a totally empty parking lot, when I said if can’t eat hear if I can’t park hear I can’t eat hear they said that’s the point less work for us and laughed. I go to the Wytheville, Va Waffle House several times a month. Since they have relocated in a new building, you can never get anyone to answer the phone. I usually call my order in and pick up on the way to work. 00.

Last week when I tried calling again the answering machine picked up, I tried several times on the way. When I got there, 2 employees were outside smoking, went in and it took 7 minutes before anyone came in. There were no customers to be seen.

When I ask about why they don't answer the phone anymore, she said we don't when we are busy. Again, like I said no other customers there. I am very disappointed it has come to this. 00. I just thought you needed to know this.

I am a former employee of Waffle House I would like to say first hand they are very discriminatory against African Americans I’ve had many black people tell me they had the worst experience there and will never come back. I was fired for no reason I feel like our manager did not like black people.

I visited your restaurant @about 1:30pm for a carry-out order. After about 15 minutes, a couple came in and placed their order to eat in. After 20 minutes, the couple received their orders and yet, I was still waiting. After another 10 minutes, I ask concerning my order, the Black male waiter that took my order was extremely rude and said he doesn’t know where my order was.

After searching, it turned out my order was lost and never placed. I then ask for a refund. They never apologized.

Waffle house’s in Newnan , Fayetteville, and Peachtree city, working days and nights we ( my crew at work ) go to eat mostly after hours to Waffle House and since COVID has hit us so hard we have to go to sometimes as many as 4-5 Waffle Houses before finding something to eat .

Why can’t we get a answer when calling, why can’t someone with Waffle House stay up to date on the internet so people can look and see what’s open , dine in - or dine out . This is a easy fix just send someone that’s probably sitting home anyway send them to a keyboard and have your representatives call at the beginning of the shifts and post what’s going on at each location.

The Waffle House on Zeublon Rd. In Macon Ga, never answers the phone. I have set in the parking lot many times to check if they was busy. They would have 2 tables and wouldnt pick. I would go inside just to be ignored.

I just dont get it. I went one morning around 5am and was told they closed at six and wasnt cooking anymore orders. Im not sure what happened to this location but it has gotten pretty bad.

Walled in, it was a couple at the door and one lady and her son sitting at a booth. We sat down at the counter, we was ignored. No one asked if we needed anything. A worker named Susan made a comment in reference to a black couple whom I assume came in there and made an issue with them.

So that was the first thing, being racially profiled before ordering food. Next, a group of white people walked in. Immediately, the worker Kristie stopped what she was doing and asked for their drink request. She tried her very hardest to not make eye contact with us after she (Kristie) took their full orders.

We went to the Waffle House in Wilmington NC on Market Street at 3:40 on Sunday 7-11-21. There were no other customers in the restaurant. We said hello when we came in. We were not greeted by either employee or spoken to at any point in time.

There were multiple dirty tables and we had to walk thru food/trash on the floor to get a clean table. We waited for 5 minutes but were never approached to be helped. I even asked my daughter out loud what did she think she was going to get.

Last Sunday my husband and I visited the Waffle House on St. Joseph's road in New Albany Indiana. We used to go all the time but this was our first time out after covid. We waited at the door but were not acknowledged so we just went ahead and sat down at a table that needed to be cleaned. The waitress--don't know her name but she is white, short, heavyset and wears glasses--came over and scolded us. She said, "If you get up, I'll clean the table." We did. We were seated again and she acted like she hated us. Another employee, a male came out and made small talk with us and we felt better. I thought you never know what people are going through so I gave her a 20% tip anyway.

Today we went back. We walked in, sat down, and waited and waited for a table. We knew better than just to sit down…
