We purchased a brand new $2,000 Whirlpool refrigerator and had it delivered on 12/18/2021. On February 3, 2022, while we were at work, the fridge failed - it was running but had stopped cooling - at what point we don't know but when we got home from work on 2/3/22, EVERYTHING in the refrigerator was room temperature and
ALL of the frozen food had thawed/melted. We immediately called Whirlpool and they wanted us to wait THREE WEEKS - until 2/21 - for their 'first available' service appointment!!! THREE WEEKS WITHOUT A FRIDGE!?!? We aren't in a 3rd world country!
We don't live in a tent! Angry, we called back the next day and was given a new 'service date' for Wednesday, February 9 service appointment. Again, NOT HAPPY. Losing all of the food, my insulin AND having to wait FIVE DAYS…
