I pay my bill on time every month. I'm supposed to have high speed internet. Yea, thats a joke! Every month at least 2 or 3 times my internet will stop working. So I call support services. They're no help.

Tells me to unplug and plug the modem like I haven't tried that already. Then tell me they can't establish a connection and will have to dispatch a tech. Tech comes out and does nothing in the house but look at the box.

Looks at the wires outside and tells me its fixed now. It lasts a couple weeks and I have to repeat the process. I pay 90 bucks for the most crappy service ever! Why not change providers you ask? Because they're the only ones who service my area so with alot of business you'd think they would get their crap together. Do better Windstream!! this makes no sense!

I have been having a problem with my internet going off for about 3 months straight and every time I call customer service they are rude and unprofessional my problem doesn't get resolved for 5 or 6 days I have to wait everytime I made a complaint I always had to wait missing my work I tell them that I work online but they don't seem to care I miss whole weeks cause of my service and thats not right for the price that I have to pay I just wish my problem can be resolved when I call instead of waiting a week each time.

Grand Rental Station, Inc. has not had incoming telephone service since Monday morning, August 2, 2021. It is now August 5, 2021, and the service has still not been repaired/restored. After extensive and time-consuming phone calls with customer service on a daily basis it can be noted there was a multitude of different responses to include:

Called to complain online would not accept my user name, password that I've been using for past years. It locked me out, then when I called I had a phone solicitor that was determined to read her sales pitch for some emergency button while I kept saying "NO, I just want to pay my bill" She just kept talking over me and

wanted my approval to send me to another person for My Free gift (while I'm saying I didnt want a free gift) . This company doesn't want to hear any problems, only an opportunity to sell you something, whether you want it or not.

They keep raising your bill by a few dollars for fees of the universe which they can't explain. They know most people will just pay the extra amount rather than waste their time arguing the points to them.

After having problems with my internet for sometime, Windstream came to my house and said that I needed a new line. So two weeks later they came to install the new line. After they left, my land line telephone would not work!

I called Windstream to report this and they said that it would be August 5, 2021 before they could come. I am very upset about this because I called immediately and someone could have called the workers and asked them to return to correct the problem.

I need my land line and I need it now. I have always been patient with Windstream in the past, but I have reached my breaking point with Windstream. This is why we never hear good things about Windstream!

I am without landline telephone service. I contacted Windstream on 7/29/2021 and reported the problem. I was sent a text message giving me a repair date of 8/9/2021. As directed I was told to reply with RESCHEDULE which I did twice. I did not hear back from Windstream. I also email Windstream with my request to have the 8/9 appointment rescheduled. Nothing. 7/30/2021 I call the repair number for Windstream and was told they will try to move up the repairs as soon as they can , but it depends on contacting service people. No firm date.

If I can go without Windstream for about two weeks I am wondering why I need the service at all.

Where to begin. There has been nothing but negative since making the fatal and much regretted decision to combine services with this compamy. All we requested was to have our phone service and current bill switched to them and add to our current internet service with them.

We asked for television as well. This is with a business, small but viable for 17 years, that is now on the verge of collapse due to interruption in ALL services. No television for going on 4 weeks, internet that was consistently functional until "the switch" is now nonexistent, the worst is the lack of phone service.

I've been trying to call my elderly mother for days. I finally had the police do a welfare check on her and her phone is with Windstream and it's been out for days!!! I called and they said yes they have a ticket on it.

She's got no way to call anyone. There's no sense in letting elderly people go days without access to a phone. She can't see well to use a cell phone. Her vision is very poor.

I've had windstream for about 3 years now and it seems my bill just keeps going up. I'm constantly having to get new boxes and am without wifi for at least 2 weeks out of the month. I've had complained before when I didn't have it for a month but they still wanted me to pay the bill.

I have now been without wifi since the 19th and won't get a person out here until April 1st. No one else I know has this problem. I just paid $240 and 2 days later I have no wifi. It's just sad to be honest.

Service, there is no I can keep this at 100 words or less. All started on the 16th if April my internet has been going in and out. I called and received a ticket #43663387 for a tech to come out since according to the CSR I spoke to that following Saturday.

She stated the engineer/tech that there was to many errors in the outside lines which is windstream line. So I has to wait until Thursday the 23rd of April. I work from home so that was really going to be a problem however I went ahead and lost 3 days of work.

I canceled my service as I was moving and was told that I wouldn t be charged anymore as it was before statement date. I canceled on 09/23/2019. 30 from my bank account. Called and told them and they apologized for it and said they would return it.

As of 12/2/2019 it hasn t been returned. Trying to get someone at the financial is a pain. Iwould like to get my money back as you shouldn t have taken it to start with. Windstream is the worst service I have ever had.

I called as I have for almost 10 years with this company to set up a payment plan for my past due balance. My letter was dated for today and I have ALWAYS called on the date of the letter and had my payment to come out the following Friday.

TODAY, rude customer service reps refused to set my payment up unless I paid half of the past due amount instead of paying it in FULL FRIDAY! Why after all these years would this be an issue? As soon as I have access to another internet provider, that is in the process of putting up towers near my home, I will be switching providers.

The reps acted like I was ignorant and I couldn't understand what they were saying, I don't know if you all use offshore reps but if not, you need to get better English speaking reps. I'm extremely upset and humiliated.

I have never been treated as rudely as i was last night. I have been a customer for several years but recently fell brhind a little due to unforeseen circumstances. 00 on phone bill. I was only wanting to pay it on friday with my paycheck and was told i could not do that, i hadnt paid enough, etc.

My complaint is that I have been with windstream for almost a year now and I am usually on time with my payments, until they charged me $120 for a installation of a phone jack when the service rep I had talked to on the phone had said it would only cost $10. I informed Windstream that I have that phone call recorded and would be happy to send it to them because I am not paying the extra money.

My service went out July 3 was repaired yesterday (8th). This morning repair man came to fix my neighbors phone (don’t know why he couldn’t have done his while he was in the neighborhood fixing mine) and as he fixed my neighbors he disconnected mine..

My phone has had static on the line for over two weeks. I called in, got a work order for the 18 of June. The technician came out but was unable to fix it. This morning I called customer service to ask that since I hadn't had phone service for over two weeks I wanted a credit on my bill.

I buy a house, I sign up for them to allow me to take over their service. On the day of service, I get a text that there is active service at the house, please call us. I call. I email in titles.

They send an email, we'll now come out on Wednesday. I call back and tell them someone is at the house now and took a day off to be there, for them. Can't do it. Escalate the call. Supervisor gets on, says they can't send someone out today. I raise holy hades.

Very very very poor phone service. Every time is rains phone goes out, no line, no dial tone, can not not receive or place call. We are a small neighborhood consisting of 13 houses located in the 5200 -6800 blocks of NW 246 Ave, Alachua County, Florida. ( just north of LaCrosse).... Our neighborhood is accessed solely by means of a narrow elevated limerock road that goes through about 400 feet of low ground at the corner of NW 52 terrace and NW 246 ave. The area consists of a seasonal creek and is regularly flooded whenever we have rains in excess of 5" in a 24 hour period. The water that flows through the area is channelled through nine 36" diameter culverts. They are all at least 50 years old and are completely rusted out and failing. After complaining to the FCC our service was downgraded without our permission. We were assured that constant outages would be a thing of the past. Not so. Since the last major outage several weeks ago service has been shit. Slow slow slow downloading, it can take 30 seconds for a page to load.

My husband cannot do research at peak load times, and it is difficult during off-times. I can type three or four words in a search-box before the first letter appears. Upload speeds are microscopic. We have called the "no-help" line and gotten nowhere.

On 2/8/19, I set up a payment arrangement with customer service for a specified date. In spite of that arrangement my service was still disconnected. I contacted them immediately and was told it would be reconnected within FOUR (4) HOURS. LIE IT WAS NOT RECONNECTED AT ALL!! On 2/9/19 I contacted Windstream again and was transferred back and forth over FIVE times between Windstream and dish network with no one seeming to comprehend their own polices of sticking to their end of committment. United States Add a Comment I have had Windstream internet service since 1995 in the same location. The absolute only reason I have been a Windstream customer for this long is because I have no other option in my area.

Windstreams prices are high and I have never had good service. I lose my internet service multiple times per month sometimes multiple times per day. I have had hundreds of service calls and tech visits over the years but I have never had good consistent service.

I have been with your company for over 17 years and have not had a problem up until the past month. I started noticing slower than usual Internet back in December 2018 and called and had a service call set up for a tech to come out.

the tech came out (granted not once come to my house) and worked on the lines that are on my road. This fixed the problem for about 20 minutes. I called back to let them know the problem had started back and they told me I would have to wait for another appointment "10 days later".

10 days later I received a call from tier support who told me that they saw some virtual errors on the line and cleared them up and that the problem should be fixed. I was at work and I told them I would check it got when I got home.

M. this past Friday night (1/5). We had a tech out to our house a few weeks ago to address slow speed. That tech performed work at the box, and moved the router/modem into our new office. Tech suggested that we look into having Cable Annex run to our house, since our neighbor across the street had that service.

On Wednesday, January 2, 2019, I noticed that the rated 25 megabit access was reported as 13 Megabit on Speedtest.Windstream.Net. I contacted Windstream Internet Technical support and reported the issue. After testing the line, rebooting the modem/router and the remote Tech executing some kind of line refresh, the Tech decided that someone would have to be sent to my house to diagnose the problem. I got my Windstream service in September 2018. The first week was a nightmare. I had to call customer support three times and finally I got someone to assist me instead of ignoring my problems. I thanked her Supervisor for her great service. My T. V. Service “freezes”.

5meg, but I'm paying for 24meg. I work from home and use a company IP phone and the speeds are so slow, the phone connection keeps going in and out of Service. The same thing happens when using WIFI calling on Iphones.

When we first upgraded to 24meg DSL, we were getting 20 to 24meg and didn't have any problems for a few 2 to 3 years. the speed test I attached is at 6:00pm. I can no longer get the upload speed above 1meg.

I've called in to Windstream several times, but get the same response ( someone will reach out to you soon to schedule a tech visit). I was suppose to get a call back today about a schedule, but that didn't happen.

Since January this year, I've had to put up with the needlessly complex and troublesome Windstream Webmail IMAP platform. An unsatisfactory substitute for the simple, straightforward PoP platform it replaced, Windstream Webmail continues to present problems on a daily basis. Some of these are admittedly minor, but they're a constant annoyance.

Multiple login attempts are required frequently.

After login, the mail folder list routinely doesn't appear unless the screen is refreshed.

Opening mail, moving mail to folders, and deleting mail is often slow or very slow, with the following message appearing regularly - "The server or network is slow to respond. The customer service numbers is busy 24/7. The cost has risen dramatically. I filed with FCC and Windstream sent them and me a letter saying they know they have problems yet did nothing to resolve. 00 a month. 00 for their profit surely not for my service.
