Hi, My husband tried to return a small cake to the Menai store that I had bought from another store that same day. The cake had an ingredient in it that I couldn’t eat and had just misread. The lady at customer service didn’t know what to do so called a supervisor, who then pulled out the policy document to show my husband that they couldn’t return items for a change of mind.

30am. Doing my shopping and out of nowhere i heard someone yelling, i turned my head and it was a male woolworths employee yelling at a young woman employee which was located at the service desk, whilst trying to serve customers.
She was the only person working at the service desk at the time, i felt vey sorry for her and later on when she was alone, i approached her and asked if she was ok. I also told her that this was not appropriate for another person to speak to her like that and it shouldn't happen in a work place.

My name is Graham Ryal, I live in Berwick 3806. I was shopping at Woolworths (Berwick) in the meat department and this meat department was unmanned (No Butcher working on the day). The selection Fridge at the front counter was full of meat for purchasing by the public.
While I was browsing the display I noticed a big Blow fly flying around inside the fridge. This fly was landing on all the meat which was sitting in trays within the Fridge. I reported this to a lady working in the near by Deli and she took here time but managed to get rid of the fly.
My concern is what bacteria and germs were passed onto the meat sitting on those trays. If it had of been properly maned by anyone, they would have made sure there were no fly's in the area to end up in the fridge.

It was on 19 June when I bought a gift card in Tygervalley for my daughter's 21st birthday. Only to find out that no money was loaded on the gift card. I immediately went to one of the branches (Promenade mall) near my work place to lodge a complaint.
They took my details and promised to investigate. They did their best to respond to me giving me feedback. They told me that Tygervalley mall's supervisor was going to contact me. I tried contacting her(Fundi at Customer service) myself but could not get hold of her as she was on lunch.

I overpaid Woolworth by R2000. I have appealed to Financial Services to reimburse me but no success. I have sent them the necessary proof of payment but get no answer. To date I have had 8 emails from them each one asking me for proof of payment.

I just recently shopped at this store and it was more of a follow up of a previous complaint, was very disappointed to find your self serve checkouts are absolutely filthy still. I pointed this out about 2 months ago to the girl there.
The whole store is pretty bad but when I have to place my food in the area that’s where I draw the line. Your green shopping baskets are also very visibly soiled. Doesn’t take much to clean something when you’re standing around. ☹️
I recently purchased a 100-pack of 'Inspire Tealights'for $10 and find them a very bad product. They hardly burn, or just die after a short while. Since I bought tealight from Woolworth before and found them a good product, I did not expect these bad quality ones.
Since I did not keep the receipt, I can't get a refund.

This afternoon at Woolworths, Munno Para West, I experienced an awkward situation at the checkout.
Included in my shopping, I had two boxes of tissues and one packet of Antibacterial hand wipes (wet ones) ... At the checkout I was informed that I had 'exceeded the limit' and the hand wipes were taken away and placed aside, with the young lady at the checkout saying 'you can not buy more than two of these items as they are limited to two items per customer, I have no choice but to take them off you'. I went to shop with my wife in dickson branch today. We were trying to get some lamb cutlet from the meat section. There was an Asian guy serving us.
First of all, my wife asked him how many pieces of lamb cutlet would come in half kilo. That man was way too careless to answer/check. We didn’t bother about it and ask him to go for 8 pieces. I purchased sodastream gas cylinder and forgot to bring back the empty gas cylinder. This was sometime ago. With all the trauma in my life I did not give it a second thought and thought that could probably return the empty bottle at a later time.
I was told at the check out that I can not return the empty gas cylinder without buying a full one. So now I have 2 full cylinders (one half empty) and now I have one empty cylinders that I can not return to redeem the cash back for the empty cylinder.
I must buy a new cylinder to be able to redeem the cash back. I was told that the system does not allow it. I really have no need for a third cylinder. $20 might not seem much but with all the sky rocketing prices it will certainly help.

I purchased a "Woolworths" Top Side roast - Australian beef (moisture infused) at Woolworths store, Church St Brighton on 23/6/2022. The weight on the package said 1.314 kG. After unwrapping it an weighing I found it to be only 1.188 kG, almost 10% less. I was and am greatly offended by this.
