Middle Camberwell store. 15pm 13/6/2022. Very dark outside. No car park lights. No lights in undercover area ramp entrance area. Coming out of store faced with very dark situation, amplified by the effect on the eyes of the fully lit store. Asked trolley person.

Answer, “lights don’t come on till 7pm!! “. I understand this is an automatic switch on a timer. This situation is dangerous and fails common sense safety for workers and customers. Worksafe would have a field day.

We have done our shopping at the Deception Bay Woolworths for many years and now I find out they have closed the Quick check out of 8 items or less with many more self serve check out my complaint is at time I have 8 items or less and have used the express service many times and now your management are trying to force me to use the self check out or line up behind someone who may have a trolley full of groceries, I will never use the self service and

if I have to wait behind someone with a full trolley I will just dump my basket on the floor and walk out and start shopping at Coles or Aldi etc ,Why are you trying to Force people to use the self service check out my wife and I shop at your store to get service not to do our own ,I’m totally Pissed off with the powers to be to make this…

Please make sure there is plastic bags in the stores for the customers, when we buy at the food department. We can not buy the expensive bags all the time.. It is costing us a arm and a legs to buy that expensive bags every day...

I go to Woolworths Lambton almost every day and then they expect me to buy a bag every day... I dont carry the bags with me because it's not possible.. I left all the things i wanted to buy today, because I'm not paying so much for a bag again..

And I'm sure a lot of customers feels the same way...

Bought pre cooked shoulder of lamb from Umina Woolworths never again at the very least it was 1/3 fat, disgusting. I have already thrown the cardboard package out but use by was 18/06/22. I am very unhappy - see photo.

The 3 times in as many weeks there have been no available trolleys. I am not sure how you are meant to shop with out a trolley. Today when they arrive the person bringing them stood back and pushed them into the waiting customers. Appalling customer service

For the 3rd time in as many weeks there have been no trolleys available for customer use at Frankston Woolworths. Not sure how we are meant to shop with out a trolley. Have had to wait 10 plus minutes. Then the trolley people are rude and just push the trolley at the waiting customers

pathetic service at Gateway . on a busy day only two cashiers . i was blatantly told someone at the till area that was closed that staff are on lunch and i must use the tills that has two cashiers with such long queues.

It’s evident there are no managers around. such unfriendly unhappy , rude staff.

I returned a product today 4/6/22. But Jason, the service provider at the casher of Woolworth's in Carlingford 2118, declined to refund or replace the expired product. ,however, I have explained to him that I don't have the receipt with me now,, but I have the credit card record.

He said that that product (see attached ) will never expire, and he did not accept the credit card recorded documents. However, he declined. Jason Advised me that he himself was the most senior person! while I was trying to get help from another staff member, Jason called the security guard!!

The security guard came in and accepted my argument. He (the security guard) advised Jason to exchange the product. in The past 28 years,I have not experienced such an event. But never been treated like this. But why?? I…

Yesterday I bout washing product which was expired. Today I went to the shop( Woolworth in Carlingford NSW 2118 for a refund. The first person I met was friendly and advised me to get something else instead. I selected another product with the right expiry date and came to see the cashier. his name was Jason.

He asked me if I had the receipt? I said No but I have paid with my Credit card. He said no, you must provide the document for your perches! I have explained to him again, but he threatens me by calling the security guard!

I shopped at eastland store today between about 1 -1.30pm i had to wait a long time to get served, not the check out operators fault but more people queuing behind me and only 1 normal checkout open for people without express items. I’m not self serving for a whole trolley full (that queue was long too) and had too many for express line, 1 checkout is simply not good enough i am a regular and this seems to be happening more often, open more check outs I don’t get paid to put my own groceries through!

Quality of Woolworths management is atrocious compared to what it was before, i was surprised when Armadale weekend management Sunday morning at 10am the 29th of May 2022 insulted me by calling me Yul Brenner then yelled out at the top of her voice which attracted every ones attention for 50 meters yelled at me that i had no witnesses which she yelled at me in front of many people 3 times she said I HAVE NO WITNESSES.

She was wearing a mask which seems to make her think she is safe from identification. Therefore i guess she thinks she can insult anyone willy Nilly with her mask on.

Todays manager at Armadale Western Australia Woolworths at 09:30 am today the 28th May 2022 attempted to get one of the check out lady to accuse me of harassment. This red headed angry looking old lady that was appointed manager today this lovely Saturday morning, completely ruined my day with her angry disgusting disrespectful behaviour.

She is so stupid, she also insulted me by calling me Yule Brenner as i am bald, and kept yelling out afterward that i have no witnesses in the middle of the shop with my wife with me. this is the level of Woolworth service today.

Woolworths must be purposely placing bad people as managers to help cause food shortages. I will be consulting lawyers for defamation charges unless Woolworths moves her to another store.

Hi there, I just wanted to bring to your attention that I was questioned at the self serve check out by an older staff member today asking me is your Son not with You. I replied my 12 year old was waiting in the car as I had parked out the front Then she asked me doesn’t he go to school.

I felt she was policing me.

Firstly it’s none of her business to ask such questions. I didn’t realise I had to justify myself when I come into your store alone or with my Son that my Son is in distance education through a private SCHOOL .

I don’t know her but it was a total put off and rude. Maybe she should focus more on her job and her PR skills.

I am trying to get my everyday rewards card to allow my 10% discount from Woolworths. I purchased my phone plan on 07 February 2022. I attempted to get my 10% reward in mid-March, only to be informed that the card and phone were not linked.

We accepted my possible error for the non-linkage of the phone and card. My husband acting on my behalf linked the rewards card and phone. He checked with both the mobile and rewards teams that the phone was linked to the card.

Both teams stated the two were linked and would qualify for discount in 45 days, early May 2022. He again checked with your teams early in May. One of your representatives blithely stated we had to wait another 45 days to qualify.

My husband told the man that we had waited well over 90 days to qualify and was not prepared to wait…

I paid up my account in full st Woolworths Zambezi Centre. The till person read the full balance, which I paid, closing my account. About a month after this I received notification that there is still a balance of over R500.

I sent several emails to the accounts department, but obviously they are staffed by illiterates as I have not received reply. JS Pearce cell 082 693 9159.

I bought a spiderman kids backpack in January 2022 for R399 and I'm very not happy with the quality actually it's a very poor quality for such a high price,the bag is torn at the bottom I regret buying it cos the kid only used it to carry lunchbox and a 72 page and it only lasted for 3months,don't think I'll ever trust Woolworths backpacks anymore seems like you selling the name not quality,I wanted to buy Nike,Puma or Addidas which cost the same price but was so attracted to yours because of the characters and bright colors which looks great to a grade 1 child,

At greystanes Woolworths on Merrylands road there is a sign that says express lane , which I thought was limited items 15 or so. The person in front of me had a full shop so I mentioned she was doing the wrong thing.

Your employee corrected me and said we don't practice that and you can have as many as you like. If it is not an express lane take the sign down or inform your staff of the rules

My complaint is about the pathetic customer service at Newmarket Plaza store .I have been overcharged on 3 occasions at this store in the last month.I rang your head office yesterday02/05/2022, to report the incident - I waited on the line for a hour….from 4.45 pm till 5.50 then I hung up….tried again, this morning , same issue….was waiting on line from 9.45 am till 10.15 am, decided to hang up…

Your service in store is pathetic whilst your customer service is overall pathetic.

As a shareholder I am devastated by the dismal position I faced.

I would sincerely like to be contacted to discuss the above and be compensated for this disgraceful showing.

26th of April waited 1 hour to collect groceries, was told collection between 5-6pm. Tried calling store multiple times no answer. Direct to boot was full and same cars didn’t move in 30mins. Text come through at 6:30 saying ready (I had already departed due to young family) 27th of April waited over 50 minutes in the direct to boot bay without being seen to, 2 x cars had left in that time.

Only 1 x person running groceries. Could have gone into the shop myself and picked the groceries quicker than what’s ready to be collected. Spending 2 hours over the course of 2 days waiting for groceries was frustrating. Will never ever to direct to boot pickup again nor will I ever refer it.

I’d like to know if it is your policy to search customers handbags as they leave the store?

Yesterday while at your Waurn Ponds store an employee on the tills (young man) asked to search my handbag as I left. I can only assume this was because I was leaving the store without making a purchase.

I didn’t see him ask any other customer to search their bags and quite frankly it was highly embarrassing.

I agreed because I obviously had nothing I. My bag but find it discussing that your employees are allowed to do this and embarrass their customers.

I will not be going to that store again and will think twice about shopping at Woolworths again.

Rotten vegan fish. I bought vegan products from Woolworths Mall of Africa on Saturday the 09th April 2022, yesterday I opened it up to prepare bake and it looks rotten and disgusting and this is not the first time this has happened, I let the first time go, but this is now ridiculous.

I just tried to send this complaint via email tour the regular email address supplied but it is not working!

I have just returned from a visit to my local Woolworths outlet in Bega. As has occurred on my previous 3 visits I was dismayed - to put it mildly - to discover that only one manned checkout was open & that there were long queues at the self service area. On inquiring about this situation I was advised that someone (ie one employee) had not come in for their shift. This hardly seemed an adequate explanation and suggests a continuing issue wherein the store management are simply not manning the store at adequate levels.

Given the overall price increases that have lifted grocery bills by around 50% at the same time as this has been going on, I'm very concerned that…

My wife visited your Bonnyrigg store early this morning. Only the self serves and the express lane was open. With a full trolley they didn’t allow her to use the self serves and ushered her to the express lane. My wife asked if they could open another checkout as she didn’t want to hold up the lane.

The operator said that it would be okay but as soon as she started putting her groceries through other customers joined the queue. One customer started verbally attacking my wife about being in the express lane. At no time did the operator defend my wife.

Even in the car park the same customer was blowing his horn and driving close to my wife as she was trying to get back to her car. I work in retail and understand wage constraints but my wife should never be subjected to this harassment.…

My complaint is with the Complaints Department! I put in some feedback - I think around 6 weeks ago- about getting ice cream and ice creams delivered half melted. Photo was attached. Never heard anything from you folk. I mentioned it on a note to my Personal Shopper with my last order- wondering if that was even read/ or passed on?

Otherwise the service at the Mentone store (predominantly delivery), has been fabulous- especially the driver who has to contend with our stairs.

Ordered online delivery. Order number 117825136 Was meant to be delivered between 4-5pm yesterday had a phone call from the idiot driver who couldn’t find my place. I tried to tell him where it was he wasn’t listening and he kept telling me he was on the right road when he wasn’t even on my road.

Ended up getting a text saying it had been delivered when it definitely hadn’t. This is my 2nd online order and I’m disgusted. So I rang and spoke to someone who had me on hold for 1 hour and half while she did nothing to help and wasn’t very customer focused from the start.

My groceries didn’t turn up so why should I be punished more by being on hold for 1 hour and half. After the stress that your company put me through yesterday they should be free. That driver should be fired.

Over the last 4 weeks I bought 2 tubs of WW Creamed Cottage Cheese from WW Mayfield. Unfortunately both of them were watery. Before use had to drain the water each time and then some of it would fall of the sides of the knife when lifting from the tub to place on a slice of bread. The water reduces the amount of Creamed Cottage cheese. I would prefer to buy WW Creamed Cottage Cheese as it has a taste that I like.

Dear Christine James, Community Moderator, On Friday, 04 / 03 /22, between 3 & 4 pm. approx. I was struck from behind on the ankles by a overloaded shelf packer trolley pushed at speed by a Woolworths employee; because of the cuts to my ankles my wife & I went to Mona Vale Hospital for treatment , after which we went to the Woolworths supermarket,( Warriewood branch ); & recorded my complaint to the manager Quentin Holly; that evening he took the details of the accident in writing & said Customer Service would get back to me.

I have photographs of the injuries taken at the hospital before bandaging. So far I have not been contacted by Woolworths. Bryan Penny

Sunbury 3429 store. Required toilet asked 3 people to use it. No, not allowed due to covid. I have used toilet before. Medical condition . Lady let me, hoping not to get into trouble. I have already dealt with issue previously.

I’m disgusted that you don’t have public toilet and refuse elderly customers the use, and finding myself again in this situation again intolerable. All staff need to know customers can’t be refused. I bought groceries from Plenty Valley Woolworths today 9/3/22 and was double charged. I noticed this had happened whilst I was in my car before leaving the shopping centre so walked all the way back to the store and showed the staff member both my receipt and my account.

The staff member refused to do anything and could care less advising I will need to go back in 7 days with a printed bank statement. I was shocked to say the least advising her that I had a really important Drs appt the next day and really needed that money to pay for it - again nothing from the staff member.

Refusing assistance to enter your store. Dear Sir/Madam I'm Mary Gella a seventy year old retired teacher who served and is still serving the community in various ways. I'm a Woolworths client for thirty years plus. This morning I was on my way to get my booster at Dischem Pharmacy.

I usually use Woolworths entrance to enter Parow Center as it is the safest. Unfortunately the strong wind blew my mask away. 50 pm and went to the deli section to purchase about BBQ chicken. There were 2 staff members at the other end of the counter, one slicing meat, the other one not doing anything. There was one chicken left in the cabinet and after standing waiting for around 2 to 3 minutes trying to get the attention of the staff member who wasn't doing anything she asked me what I wanted.

When I asked her (politely) for a chicken, she said "that one is sold" laughed and walked away. Bit disappointed in the way this situation was handled, won't be shopping with Woolworths again.

Hi, On Friday, 04/03/22 between approx. , I was standing in an aisle at Warriewood Woolworths when I was hit in the ankles from behind by one of your staff pushing a cart at speed over loaded with crates; I was asked by the employee if I wanted to rest, I declined & went home.

Later my wife & I went to the local hospital where the cuts on both ankles were photographed, cleaned & bandaged, I was also given a tetanus injection. On returning to Woolworths later I gave the particulars of what had occurred to the shop manager, Quentin Holly.

As a 77 year old who is reasonably fit, & was wearing socks & stout shoes ; but if this had happened to a disabled person with no socks it would have been a very serious injury. We have a large population of elderly, frail people around here.

Everytime I go to woolworths deloraine with my partner we either get refused service or treated poorly by workers, just like everyone else we just want to do our shopping in piece, I went in on the 6th of march 2022, the workers from the Berry farms are extremely rude by cutting in line when clearly everyone else is waiting or has been waiting for some time, im sorry but if woolworths can refuse me for having a few items over in the quick checkouts then why are these people allowed to but in line, then come out of nowhere with a trolley full of groceries and

00pm. As an on call surgeon I had to get to the hospital quickly for a post operative complication and tried to fast-track the self service line (which was very long) and went to the less than 15 items line.

There were 2 operators on. The younger operated said "next". I walked over and she then turned away to answer the phone, then went to the computer, then answered the phone again. She then served a man at the cigarette counter who came up while i was waiting.

today (Sunday 26/2/2022) is the second time I have seen Blowflies in the cold meet area, I pointed this out to the people working behind the counter who instantly ignored me, a third time will see a formal complaint to the health Department and the media to make sure theres no cover-up. and while we are at it the area where the trollies are stored is a disgrace, its time to get it sorted and fast.

In 2 out of the past 3 weeks my Woolworths delivery has not been delivered within the time window requested or at the time indicated by Woolworths at the start of the delivery window. My time is important as well as your staff.

I asked tonight’s delivery driver about the reason for the delay and he just laughed at me. I find this unacceptable. I don’t see why I should pay delivery fees to sit well beyond the delivery time waiting for my groceries.

Today I chose delivery between 2pm and 7pm. 43. 30pm.

Finally , my grocery were delivered at 8pm. To top it off I have been on hold with Woolworths for over 60min. I feel Woolworths should provide some form of financial compensation for this poor service. I am not inclined to shop with Woolf in future.
